Chapter 441
Chapter 441
Xavier raised his eyebrows. Or was she pretending to have forgotten about it?
Arya searched her mind again carefully. She really couldn't remember it.
She didn't lie.
Feeling uncomfortable all over, she went into the bathroom with some clothes, trying to relieve herself
by taking a hot bath.
Soaking in the bathtub, Arya recalled Xavier's expression just now. Did she say something strange
when she was drunk?
Why did he put on that expression?
Arya frowned. As far as she could recall, the craziest thing she might do after having alcohol was to say
a few words that she didn't dare to say when she was completely conscious.
After resting in the bathtub for a while, Arya stood up and then washed up herself in front of the sink
with her body wrapped in a towel.
There was no one else in the bedroom. Arya walked out of the bathroom to look for clothes in the
closet. The towel fell down because she didn't wrap it tightly enough.
She didn't pick it up in time because she thought that there was no one else in the room. To her
surprise, the sliding door of the balcony opened suddenly just when she was about to put on a dress.
She was shocked and looked at the balcony. Xavier was walking towards her, holding his cell phone in
hand. It seemed that he had just answered a call on the balcony.
Was he on the balcony all the time when she was taking a bath?
Arya tried to pick up the towel as soon as she came to her senses. However, her wrist was grabbed
before she could touch the towel. Arya couldn't help but tremble.
"Let go of me first..."
"Are you addicted to luring me? You know, I can't control myself."
Arya stammered, "I didn't..."
"Xavier, it's already noon. Nanny Joy must have made lunch. Shall we go eat first?"
"Mm-hmm."
"We will be punished for wasting food." This was the only excuse Arya could find after a long-time
consideration.
"Well, punish me first."
Of course, Arya had tried to resist him. But Xavier was much stronger than her. With less than one-third
of his strength, he could hold her tightly. She could feel his weight as he took off his clothes, lowered
his body, and lay on her body slowly.
"Xavier…"
She was trembling all over.
The food Nanny Joy had prepared was already cold when they finally went downstairs.
Nanny Joy was heating them up again.
Feeling embarrassed, Arya didn't look at anyone.
She went to hug Ramona in Daisy's arms. The kid was awake, seeing around the room with her big
eyes.
"Why does she look more and more like Xavier?"
She used to look like Arya, but now she was more like Xavier.
"Let me see." Hearing Daisy's words, Xavier came over.
He, however, hoped that his daughter would be as beautiful as Arya.
"What do you think?"
Daisy pointed at Ramona's face.
Xavier bent over. The little guy grinned happily as if she was glad that someone was staring at her.
She really looked more and more like him.
"Well, maybe we should have another kid. At least one of them should look like their mother."
Daisy couldn't agree more. Two children would be too much for the family. Xavier was the only one in
his generation of the Jones Family. They certainly would be glad if Arya could give birth to more
children.
To make the Jones Family flourish.
Arya had a smile on her face, whose gaze was shooting at Xavier like knives. Xavier looked away
quietly.
There had been a time when Arya felt so exhausted due to the frequency of their sex life that she
wanted to take a rest by being pregnant. What was his opinion about having another child at that time?
He said, "A son and a daughter are perfect."
It wasn't that Xavier didn't want to have a few more children. He just didn't want Arya to be in danger
again as she had been when she gave birth to Ryan and Ramona. He would rather have no more child
than take the risk of losing Arya forever.
What he said just now was an accident. He told the deepest wish inside him.
He really wanted a child that looked like Arya.
"The food is ready. Let's eat." Nanny Joy served them all the food.
A new servant took over Ramona. They hired her because Nanny Joy couldn't do all the household
jobs here alone. Daisy had planned to bring Nanny May here as well, but Xavier disagreed with her. In
the end, Nanny May stayed in the Old Residence and they hired another servant to take care of Daisy
and Mr. Jones.
Ryan was not hungry because he had just drunk some milk. He was full after eating half of a bowl of
rice, so he pushed the bowl in front of Arya. "Mommy, I'm full. I don't want to eat it."
Arya had a bad appetite today. Maybe it was because she had drunk some wine last night. Besides,
Ryan had mixed his rice and soup together, which looked a little bit disgusting.
"Throw it away if you don't want to eat it." Daisy could also see that Arya didn't want to eat Ryan's food.
There wasn't much left in the bowl anyway.
Arya smiled. How wasteful it was to throw it away. She pushed the bowl to Xavier, "Eat it."
Daisy was stunned. Xavier had never eaten the food that was left by others.
Not to mention it looked like pigwash. Vegetables were mixed with soup and rice, making people lose
their appetite at the first sight of it.
"Well..."
Just as Daisy was about to take the bowl away, Xavier ate a mouthful of the food using Ryan's spoon.
Daisy opened her mouth in shock but couldn't say anything in the end.
He wouldn't mind his son's leftovers.
Arya held her chin, staring at Xavier for a while. Then she picked up her chopsticks and put all kinds of
food into her bowl: the sweet, the salty, and a spoonful of soup. She mixed them all together before she
pushed her bowl to Xavier. "I can't finish my food either. Help me eat them."
Xavier's eyes twitched as he stared at the bowl of food that looked worse than Ryan's.
Arya held her chin with a kind smile. "Do you dislike my leftovers?"
Xavier, "..."
Arya smiled even more kindly. "You will be punished for wasting food."
