Chapter 418
Chapter 418
Jacob was stunned. "No."
At this moment, the elevator door opened, and the two people came down. As they walked, Jacob
turned to look at her. "Bridget."
"Yes." Bridget looked at him.
"Your brother is back," Jacob said.
Bridget paused and stood where she was. Her fingers moved slightly. Did she hear it wrong, or have a
hallucination?
"Jacob, what did you just say?" Bridget was not sure what she heard.
Jacob repeated, "I've seen him today."
Bridget's expression changed and asked, "Why didn't anyone tell me?"
She walked quickly towards the car as if to verify Jacob's words.
Jacob knew that she was in a hurry, so he drove out immediately after getting in the car.
Soon they arrived at the Old Residence. Bridget got out of the car and ran into the house without
waiting for Jacob.
But Xavier wasn't there.
Bridget looked around. "Where is he?"
Daisy hugged Ramona and teased her, with a faint smile on her face.
It seemed that after Xavier came back, she was always in a good mood.
"He went out with your sister-in-law and hasn't come back yet."
Bridget was miffed and sat on the sofa with a cold face. "Why didn't you tell me he was back?"
Daisy was stunned at first, then looked at Mr. Jones. At that time, they were all too shocked and
overjoyed, so they forgot to call her.
"I forgot." Daisy clenched her hands.
Bridget didn't want to throw a fit. Knowing that Xavier was back, she was excited. She calmed down
and hugged Max in Nanny Joy's arms. She lowered her head to tease him and asked Daisy, "When will
my brother come back?"
Daisy glanced at the clock. "Soon enough, as he will come back for dinner."
The sun didn't set, like a burning ball, and the afterglow was suffused with crimson.
Xavier and Arya went to the Civil Affairs Bureau in the afternoon to replace their marriage certificates.
It was like a pad, but it proved that they were legally married.
Arya tilted her against the window, and Xavier was driving next to her.
Xavier pulled her over with one hand.
Arya leaned on his shoulder, her eyes narrowed, and she found that the road didn't lead home.
"Didn't you ask Jacob to go home? Aren't we going home?"
Xavier caressed her cheek, moved up his lips, and drawled, "I want to take you somewhere."
Arya did not ask and leaned quietly against him.
The car drove towards a beach outside the city. Not long after, the car stopped.
In front of them was a white building with a yard and a large balcony.
Arya got out of the car. Xavier took the car key, walked around the front of the car to her side, and
curled his arm around her shoulder. "Let's go in and take a look."
Arya looked up at him. "Where is this place?"
Xavier didn't say anything. He went to the door and hugged Arya from behind. Holding her hand, he
pressed a string of numbers on the password lock. It was Ramona's birthday.
The lock was opened with a click.
Xavier pushed the door open and carried her in.
It was spacious, and the decoration style was a far cry from that of the previous one. Although the old
villa was decorated low-profile, it did not feel like home, not to mention the hotel, whose decoration,
style, were all luxurious. But something was missed.
This house seemed to fill that void, a homey atmosphere. The house was predominantly blue and
white, with warm colors and human design. The living room downstairs was spacious, and French
windows on the front wall made it well-lighted and suitable for children to have fun. There were many
rooms downstairs, including a children's room, a baby's room, two nanny rooms, kitchen and dining
room.
"Go upstairs and take a look." Xavier held her hand.
There were three rooms upstairs, one master bedroom and two other bedrooms.
Each room had its own toilet and bathroom.
The master bedroom had a separate living room. The balcony was very wide, with a sliding glass
window on the side. The thick blue curtains could block out the sun ray so that those who liked to sleep
in the darkness could draw the curtains. Besides, a layer of white gauze on the outside and the
shimmer of the seawater added radiance to each other. Standing on the balcony, one could hear the
waves of the sea clearly.
Arya turned around and looked at Xavier. "Here..."
"Do you like it?"
Xavier walked over. The last time he came back from abroad, he began to look for someone to design
the building here.
According to his original plan, he would take her to live here after Arya gave birth to Ramona and was
discharged from the hospital. However, she was in a bad mood after Cullen died. Xavier was afraid that
she would have a bee in her bonnet if living in this serene place, so she lived in the Old Residence at
that time.
Arya nodded and pointed to the balcony. "I want to put a rattan table and two rattan chairs here..."
She was a little excited.
Xavier grabbed her flinging arm and held her waist. He bent and kissed her cheek and then red lips,
moving in inch by inch. He bit her lower lip gently while caressing and turning. Then he kissed the
corner of her eyes and finally her ear.
His kiss was tender like a breeze and sweet like a peach blossom.
He was so gentle that Arya seemed to have her acupoint pricked and got excited. She didn't move and
leaned against him with her eyes closed. "Xavier, hold me tight."
He hugged her more tightly and breathed more heavily. He kissed her neck and earlobe, now gently,
now heavily...
His voice was very low and hoarse. "Call me husband...", he drawled languidly, which made him
charming.
Arya compressed her lips, and couldn't call him husband, even if he tried to bewitch her.
"We have a certificate now. You won't break the law by calling me husband." Xavier pulled her over and
asked her to look at him.
The sea breeze was cool, and the curtains fluttered as if they could smell the faint scent of the
seawater, and could listen to the sound of waves...
Arya widened her eyes, and they were so close that their breathing mingled. She wrapped her arms
around his neck and kissed him.
Xavier enjoyed her kiss as he pushed her to the bedside inch by inch. His palm reached into her
clothes and held her waist. Her skin was very delicate and smooth, like silk.
Arya was pinned down on the bed. Xavier took the initiative, and seduced her with a long and deep
kiss, unbuttoning her clothes...
"Arya..." He called her name over and over again.
Arya felt the world was spinning, and her body was hot as if she had been thrown into a furnace...
At this moment, his or her phone rang.
Xavier paused, while Arya became sober and gently pushed him with her hands. "It's getting dark."
"So what?" He answered with a deep voice as if he was unwilling to let her go.
