You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 926: Gratitude

Sacha has always had a heart full of gratitude.

She doesn’t complain, she just feels grateful.

Evan took a leave from work to take care of Sacha at home while she was in the hospital.

He also brought some food with him.

Seeing Freya, he smiled, “You’re here.”

Freya nodded, “Take good care of Sacha, make sure she doesn’t slip again, she needs to be very careful in the early stages of pregnancy.”

Evan awkwardly nodded, “Yes, it was my fault for not taking good care of her.”

“Mom is hungry,” Morton tugged at Freya’s clothes.

Freya picked up Morton and sat him on her lap.

She ruffled his black hair.

His little face had grown a bit, looking more like Elijah now.

Both Kai and Morton resembled Elijah.

When they were younger, they were a bit chubby and not as similar, but now, with their features more defined, their resemblance had become closer.

Morton, with his big, black, round eyes open, said, “Mommy, I want seafood cakes.”

Freya lifted him up, “I’ll take him out to eat.”

Sacha said, “Then go quickly, don’t let Morton’s tummy empty.”

Evan said, “I brought food, let Morton eat.”

“Keep it for Sacha, Morton is picky and won’t eat anything he doesn’t like, I’ll take him out to eat. I’ll come back tomorrow.” Freya smiled.

“Sister-in-law, you don’t have to make the trip back and forth, it’s troublesome. Evan is off work these days, and I don’t have much to do. You’re all taking care of me like this, I feel guilty.” Sacha blinked at Freya. “I might be discharged in a few days.”

Freya thought for a moment, “Alright.”

“I’ll see you off,” Evan came over, and Freya told him, “No need, the driver is downstairs.”

Knowing the driver was there to pick her up, Evan nodded.

Freya carried Morton out of the hospital.

When the driver saw her, he got out of the car and opened the door, “Madam.”

Freya sat Morton in the car and said to the driver, “To One Taste.”

Morton loved the seafood cakes at this restaurant.

When they arrived at the restaurant, Freya took Morton inside.

They sat down at a table, and she ordered a seafood cake and the restaurant’s special seafood congee for Morton.

This place really knew how to do seafood.

Morton, in his white children’s windbreaker, blue jeans, and white sneakers, looked clean and cute.

With his fair face, particularly his round, bright eyes, and adorable appearance, he looked just like a doll.

He was nibbling on the seafood cake, enjoying every bite.

Freya handed him a tissue, frowning as his hands and mouth were covered in oil.

Morton even handed a piece to Freya, saying, “Mommy, eat.”

Freya took a bite, “Mm, delicious.”

Morton smiled happily.

Freya gazed affectionately at her son, “Morton, eat slowly, be careful not to choke.”

Morton was very happy when he ate something delicious.

“I miss grandma,” Morton said with his mouth full of food.

Freya said, “I miss my mom too, but your grandma won’t be back for a few more days.”

Morton rolled his eyes, “Let’s go find grandma.”

Freya chuckled, “Where do you want to find her? I don’t even know which country grandma is in right now.”

Morton seemed to understand in his own way, but missing grandma didn’t stop him from eating.

He had only eaten three pieces of the circular seafood cake.

Freya served him a small bowl of congee.

She took away the fourth piece of cake from him, “No more, your little tummy will get bloated.”

Morton mostly fed himself now, and Freya had been teaching him to eat on his own. If Elowen was taking care of him, she would still be feeding him.

It hadn’t been that long, and Freya had only been teaching him for a while, but he could eat on his own now.

He even handled chopsticks well.

Even if he made a mess, they had so many servants in the house for everything, she didn’t need to do it herself.

When Morton was full, Freya took him back home.

It was around five in the afternoon.

She went to pick up Kai from school.

Since the two children had a good relationship, Freya would make them sleep together.

Kai washed up by himself, but Morton was still too young, so Freya bathed him and then carried him into the bedroom wrapped in a towel.

Kai was small but acted grown-up as he read his book.

Freya wiped Morton’s body and asked Kai, “What are you reading? How did you grow up overnight?”

Kai blinked and said, “Because I’m a big brother.”

Freya pinched his cheek, “Oh, my Kai is growing up.”

After dressing Morton, he threw himself onto Kai.

Kai pushed him, “You’re crushing me.”

“Brother, brother,” Morton affectionately called, hugging his face and giving him a kiss.

Freya watched them being so close and couldn’t help but smile gently.

“Kai, take care of your brother. I’ll go take a shower and come tell you a story later.”

Kai nodded, “You can trust me, Mom. I’ll watch over my brother and make sure he doesn’t fall.”

Last time Kai fell off the bed, he cried for a long time.

Freya smiled at her eldest son, “I believe in you, Kai.”

She went to take a shower, and when she came out, it had been almost an hour, but she had also washed her hair and blow-dried it, dressed in a long-sleeved, long-pants home attire.

She pushed open the door to her sons’ room.

She saw Kai and Morton playing in a heap on the bed.

The blankets were all over the floor.

Freya was already used to this sight.

This wasn’t the first time.

She came in, closed the door, and approached the bed, lifting Morton off the bed. “Kai, get off.”

Kai got off the bed by himself.

Freya remade the bed, the sheets all messed up by them.

If it weren’t for the many servants in the house, she wouldn’t have been able to keep things in order.

Kai showered by himself, leaving the bathroom all wet with water everywhere. Then when she went in to take a shower, they would mess up the bed again.

She wondered if a daughter would be as mischievous.

Kai seemed to know he had done wrong and ran over, “Mom, let me help you.”

Freya said, “Alright.”

Although Kai couldn’t do it perfectly, Freya would praise him, making him work harder. Morton would feel it was fun to join in, but the more they helped, the messier it got.

The more they helped, the more chaotic the bed was.

After remaking the bed, Freya was sweating.

The two boys started playing again on the bed, and Freya lay down with them.

Elijah was probably busy today since it was already eleven o’clock at night, and he hadn’t come back yet.

After playing with them until they were tired, Freya fell asleep with them.

Elijah gently pushed the door open; he was already used to this sight.

Ever since Elowen went on her trip, she had taken care of both children, often sleeping in their room to accompany them.

He had been sleeping alone for several nights now.

Today, he didn’t want to sleep alone.

He quietly walked in and picked up Freya.

Freya was a light sleeper, and she woke up immediately, opening her eyes drowsily, “You’re back?”
