Chapter 39 Stealing Business Cards
Chapter 39 Stealing Business Cards
Swanstrom walked over to the door and alertly opened a small crack.
I saw Maddison reluctantly carrying a plate of fruit and said, "Dad asked me to give it to you, he asked
you to come to the study."
"Got it." Swanstrom said, holding out a hand to take the fruit plate.
Maddison subconsciously glanced at the door, Swanstrom stepped to the left to block Maddison's view
and asked in a cold voice, "Anything else?"
Maddison bristled and turned to leave.
Swanstrom closed the door, went back to the computer and deleted all the traces of browsing, then
opened the door and went to Morgan's study.
What Swanstrom doesn't know is that two minutes later, Maddison sneaks up to the door, holding a
spare key.
"The door opened with a click, and Maddison stepped in quickly and closed the door.
Her eyes swept down the entire room and muttered to herself, "I'm not allowed to see, I wonder what
harmful things are hidden in the room?"
Maddison quickly went through Swanstrom's locker and found nothing.
She was about to leave when her eyes suddenly caught a glimpse of Swanstrom's coat hanging on the
floor-to-ceiling coat rack.
She quickly walked over and took off her jacket and felt her pocket and pulled out a business card from
it.
After seeing whose business card it was, Maddison's eyes instantly bloomed with greedy light.
That's Khalid's card!
Swanstrom actually has Khalid's business card!
And obviously, Swanstrom must not have told Dad about this, or the card would not be here, but in
Dad's study.
Well, Swanstrom has the nerve to hide it from Dad, and she's going to sue!
Maddison took the card and went to find Morgan, but when she got to the door, her mind suddenly
changed--
Rather than give her dad the card and have him scold Swanstrom, she kept the card for herself.
With this card, wouldn't it be easier for her to meet Khalid, or create opportunities for herself?
After Maddison made up her mind, she put everything in the room back in place, hid the business cards
and quietly exited Swanstrom's room.
Morgan's study.
As soon as Swanstrom pushed in the door, Morgan greeted her with a smile and a seat.
Swanstrom sits nicely across from Morgan.
Morgan directly pushed a pile of contracts towards her and said, "The Deep Night Cafe image
endorsement contract has been sent to me, I have read the contract without any problems, you should
also take a look at it, if you think it is okay, then sign the contract."
Morgan's tone was coddling and unquestioning, not giving Swanstrom a chance not to sign the
contract.
Swanstrom did not say anything, took the contract and scanned it.
In terms of compensation, Spencer Group's offer is extremely generous, even more than the
endorsement fees of first-tier stars.
And when you become a spokesperson for Deep Night Cafe, you also enjoy a free stay at any hotel of
the Subordinate of Spencer Group for ten years.
Not to mention the compensation, the free stay in any hotel of the Subordinate of Spencer Group for
ten years alone is enough to make many people excited.
Swanstrom's heart is not in the right place, she has no interest in being a spokesperson.
But now for her purpose, she had to say yes and pretend to be very happy.
Swanstrom put down the contract, suppressed his inner displeasure and said with a smile, "I have no
problem with that, so I sign?"
"Sign it, sign it and I'll come with you to Spencer Group tomorrow and deliver the contract. You've just
come to the big city, and I'm not comfortable with you going to a strange place by yourself."
When did Morgan become so nice? There's no other purpose!
