Chapter 17: Overflowing Emotions
Cinyla’s POV
I woke up with pain all over my body and reflected the light that I could not understand. “Where I am?” I said and I slowly sit down until there was a device attached to my hand.
“Lady, you’re awake. How are you feeling?” asked the old woman who was currently in front of me. I know she’s in his 50s but even though I can see his old age, he still dresses well and his face is a bit lipstick.
“W-where I am?” I asked because I did not understand what was happening.
“You’re in the hospital right now. I didn’t mean to hit you. My boyfriend brought you here, do you want to call your parents?” her presentation.
I swallowed and thought about what she said because she mentioned her boyfriend had brought me here. The only thing I remember is that I was so upset with my boyfriend, I mean my current ex-boyfriend named Mark and I’m here in the hospital because it’s all his fault.
“Not anymore, maybe I only got a few scars. Thank you so much for bringing me here.” I said seriously.
“Are you sure, miss? I’m Celina Barbara Wung. I’m sorry for what happened, I didn’t mean to. Why are you running suddenly on the road? Anyway, you need to rest. I’ll just pay your bill here and I will ask anyone to bring you some food. I’ll leave my calling card here if you need something. I’m sorry I have to leave first. ” Her long explanation.
Even though I honestly have some doubts about what is happening today, I still can’t quite imagine that Mark has been fooling me for a long time. Who is her woman?
Until someone came in and spat out the man I had been thinking about. “I’m here, babe!” He greeted the old woman enthusiastically he kissed her on the cheek. “W-what?!” I shouted because I was shocked that she was his woman. When else did he love an old woman and hit a sugar mommy huh?!
“Babe, will you meet?” her innocent question.
I just really raised my eyebrows at what was happening. “NO!” I said quickly. “Madam, if only you could leave. You better do it now! Take that man with you, too! I want to rest and I might not be able to control myself, I will accuse you of what you did to me. Please, leave me now!” I give an order to them. It would have come closer to me but I stopped it with my right hand and the man who caused my anger now said, “Sorry Miss, we’re leaving.”
The two of them went out and closed the door. While I’m here alone in the room and can’t even move. I didn’t even slap that woman, ugh! But I chose to find my cellphone to call my mother. Fortunately, it was on the table near me. I quickly picked it up and called mama’s number. I hope she answers it, immediately.
“Hello, sweetie? Where are you?!” my mom asked full of worried because of her high tone of voice.
“Mom, listen! Just go here to Saint Dr. Avenue Hospital. I’ll explain later. I’ll wait for you.”
“What?! Okay, I got it! I’m on my way, sweetie. Wait for me, Cinyla.”
Then, less than a few minutes after our conversation. I just bit my lower lip and grabbed my cellphone. How can I tell these events? I don’t like it, ugh! I hope mom believes. While waiting I saw a small piece of paper on the table there was the basket of fruits that maybe that old woman had given. AKA sugar mommy of my ex-boyfriend. I don’t know if it’s karma or if destiny just happened to me. I just took that calling card and put it inside my bag.
A few moments later, there was a knock on my door. “Cinyla? This is your mom,” she said once the door opened and my mother came out very worried.
It quickly approached me and hugged me tightly. He touched my cheek and said, “A-are you okay? What happened to you? Who did this?” A series of questions caused my head to hurt.
“Just one at a time, ma. Sit down first and I’ll tell you everything.” She sits down on the chair on the side next to me. “He’s coming later too, I told BenChua too,” my mother added and held my hand.
“Mom, I’m okay. Don’t worry. It’s my fault, I crossed suddenly so I collided. My bodies are a bit sore but maybe tomorrow I can go out. But it’s my fault. Mark, my ex-boyfriend… But please, don’t quarrel with your kumara anymore because of this. I know it’s my fault because I didn’t tell you. So here, I was punished because I also kept it a secret. ”
I bent down and tried to hide the tears that were already on both my cheeks. I bit my lower lip so it wouldn’t fall off. But I got emotional and I couldn’t stop it from falling, Mama took my hand and made me lie down. “I know, his mom said last week. He was the one I went to when I was busy and came home late. It hurts me but I know you love Mark, but I can’t forgive him for cheating. That’s why when I found out that BenChua was your lover, I agreed because he’s the one you deserve. Mark isn’t a cheater. ”
“Mom..”
“Shhhh! You don’t need to cry for that worthless man! I wasn’t wrong when I saw him with a woman in the past few days, but I thought it was just his aunt because that was old. So I’m not sure either, but right now I can say my guts is true.” my mom explained.
I was saddened to hear all that. Mama didn’t even tell me all this, but instead of thinking I just wanted to forget right away. That’s just the way it is with him. Annoying!
“Are you all right?” my mom asked.
“Yes mom, I’m fine. My body just hurts.” I’ll excuse myself for holding my arm at the same time, but the truth is, I’m okay. Even though I was hurt, emotionally.
“All right, rest first. Will I wake you up when BenChua arrives?”
“Yes mom, but now it’s time for me to rest, first.”
It smiled and stood up, then kissed me. “Oh hey, son, take a break. Be strong I’ll find the one who hit you.” Mama made a serious promise but I chose to rest first. My eyes have also closed forever because of the tiredness, pain, and anger I feel now.
“Auntie, what happened to her?” someone shout.
