The unwanted wife’s unexpected comeback

Chapter 1031

Chapter 1031:

Caught in the moment, Gemma blushed deeply and pushed him away.

Yet, Pierre leaned in, gently pressing his lips to hers.

Since they were both residing in the hospital, even sharing the same toothpaste, their kisses carried a familiar taste. This similarity made Gemma feel increasingly connected to him.

Pierre’s kisses intensified, playful yet earnest, each one deeper than the last. Overwhelmed, Gemma found herself gasping for air. She turned away, reaching for the oxygen tube to catch her breath.

Pierre, amused by her reaction, stopped and chuckled.

Gemma looked up at him, slightly disoriented.

Pierre asked, “What’s the matter, Miss Hampton? Do you want more?”noveldrama

Still red-faced, Gemma quickly shook her head. “No, I don’t.”

“Alright then.”

His erection didn’t escape Gemma’s notice. However, Pierre didn’t seem inclined to address it. Gemma settled back, restless on the sheets. “Pierre, how many women have you been with?”

Pierre glanced at her briefly. “Two.”

“With both of them, did you…?”

“Do what?” Pierre asked.

“Have sex, or just kiss?”

Gemma remained silent.

Pierre responded gently, “Miss Hampton, I’m nearly thirty. I’ve lived through the experiences expected in adulthood.”

Gemma felt a twinge of sadness. “Oh, that explains why you’re such a good kisser.”

“Thank you for the compliment, Miss Hampton.”

Gemma sulked silently for a moment, not fully understanding her own distress. Then she said weakly, “You must have really loved your ex-girlfriend.”

Pierre nodded.

Exhaling deeply, Gemma said, “Can’t you ever just lie? Even just a little, in moments like this?”

In a compliant tone, Pierre replied, “Then, I didn’t love her.”

Gemma’s frustration intensified, and she turned her back to him.

Pierre smirked. Aware of her annoyance yet indifferent, he felt no urgency to appease her, as she held no special place in his life.

Alone, Alicia was a light sleeper. She rolled over to reach for the pillow next to her, finding it unexpectedly vacant. Caden was still sulking at her.

With a sigh, Alicia felt a mix of annoyance and resignation. She didn’t want to encourage his bad habits, yet a part of her couldn’t help but miss him just a little. Alicia quietly slipped out of bed, planning to check on Caden, who was resting on the sofa.
