The President’s Mistake A Tale of Love and Regret

Chapter 302 Would Nathaniel Choose You?

Chapter 302 Would Nathaniel Choose You?

He was calling Freya's phone all the time, and it's believed that Freya's missed calls have accumulated to an absurd amount. He put on the communication software to make a video call and a voice call to her, but she did not answer.

When the battery on Nathaniel's phone ran low, he left a voicemail that said, "Freya, let's talk about the case three years ago."

"Freya, please respond to me."

"Freya, I know you hate me. I will teach you how to hate me in a way that will make me sadder. Please answer my call."

Xavier called as Nathaniel pathetically set the phone down on the seat.

"Nathaniel, please send Ms. Freya a link. All you have to do is send the link, and then keep calling her."

After following Xavier's instructions, Nathaniel heard Xavier's delighted voice in less than eight minutes.

"Trail 57 on Vanara Road; that's the direction near the lighthouse."

Nathaniel's automobile hummed as he sped away, and the people behind him let out a scream.

"Are you hurrying to die? You drive so fast!"

"Do you want to die?"

"He has an issue. Bah!"

Under Xavier's supervision, Nathaniel drove the vehicle to Vanara Road and then ran to the lighthouse.

It was an abandoned house, but the door was securely shut from the outside, and Freya's cell phone was ringing.

Nathaniel opened the door with a kick. The room was somewhat damp and really cold. In the center was a table. The desktop was severely mottled. It only had Freya's mobile phone on it.

With a heavy step, Nathaniel picked up the phone gently, and, once again, the woman played tricks on him.

He held his phone hard and shut off the phone number he had previously contacted, only to discover that there was a folder on Freya's phone. She wrote a specific note to Mr. Nathaniel since she was concerned he wouldn't be able to see it.

Nathaniel clicked on the folder that Freya had placed on the screen early because he had no idea what the heck this lady was doing.

Within was surveillance footage that looked quite similar to the structure of Newport Villa. He was familiar with the surveillance location.

When it was renovated, a camera

was installed specifically here. After

ovel?

all, there was always a need for some security measures in

expensive houses.

After the installation was finished, Freya relocated her picture frame, and the porters scratched it by accident.

Later, he realized that this camera was completely useless, so he did not bother to repair it.

The camera had half of its lens

shattered, but the carved handrail at the corner of Newport Villa's stairs was captured on camera. Freya used a carving knife to create the

seda

design on the handrail.

In truth, Nathaniel inadvertently ingrained all of Freya's characteristics into his heart over the brief years he shared with her.

The only thing visible in the extremely dark video image was the set of carved steps.

Although the sound was low and muddy, with a hint of antiquity, it could still be heard.

Three years ago, Freya's voice was so proud and airy.

But Nathaniel was suddenly unfamiliar with Abigail's voice. He had always thought Abigail was a very frail girl. She chatted quietly and ate carefully, maintaining a stately demeanor.

He had no idea that he had been living under Abigail's deceptions all along.

The sound of rain outside was quite evident during the debate between the two, transporting Nathaniel back to that same moment three years ago.

"Do you believe Nathaniel likes you, Freya?"

"You've always been seen by him as a tool! A tool to control the Gomez family!"

"You're speaking gibberish!" With a shout, Freya emerged.

Abigail's voice turned strange. "Freya, what would he think if I fell from here? Would he choose you or me?"

Bang!
