The President Broken Angel

What do you want

Saturday!

“Ah! I’m so tired.” Jhonia said removing her clothes and accessories from a long half day spent with her Godson!

She took a shower, walked to her closet and removed a set of sweat pants but after unfolding them to put them on she realized the sweat pants were replaced by a short one which would barely cover her legs. She hurriedly rushed through everything she had as sweat suits and found that her sweatpants were replaced.

“What the?” She questioned as she went for her phone to call Mrs. Pinnock, while making the call, decided to get dressed as she was neither leaving her apartment nor having a quest because it’s her mother’s birthday and she has decided to spend it alone.

“Hello, dear. Happy Birthday to your dearest mother..” Mrs. Pinnock answered the phone and said to her sending her wishes.

“Thank you, mom. But that’s not why I called. Mom, did you change my sweat pants into shorter sweatpants?” Jhonia expressed her thanks, then she said a brief second pass before she asked her question.

“Yes, dear. Someone has to.” Mrs. Pinnock responded to her, saying. Jhonia widens her eyes immediately.

“Someone had to, for what reason mom?” She repeated what she said and asked in a surprising tone of voice. Suddenly, someone rang the doorbell.

“You should go and see who that is. Let’s talk about this some other time, today is important to you, remember.” Mrs. Pinnock said to Jhonia pushing her off the topic then told her they would speak on another time, as she quickly reminded her today is important and hung up.

“No, mom, hello? Mom!” Jhonia said, realizing the call had ended!

“Ugh!!” Jhonia was a bit upset about what Mrs. Pinnock did but she had to keep calm and relax for she wanted her mother’s birthday to be and feel special as if she was in the present. She went to get the door finally.

After opening the male companion stood firm with her flowers hanging down. All his eyes were doing was to check Jhonia out.

“Ahem.” Another male companion cleared his throat because the first one was blocking his path. He quickly shook his head and held up the flower for her.

“The flowers are from your husband. His mother was the one who sent them after he purchased them. Please, sign here!” The flowers guy finally speaks explaining the sending of the flowers.

“Oh. Sure, thank you.” Jhonia said, then expressed her thanks as she signed the paper allowing him to leave. The second guy approached her, she was surprised and was not expecting a box or another of flowers, a set of white tulips to be exact.

“Was this also from him?” Jhonia asked with a smile, for she has always used white tulips celebrating her parents birthday, a way of reminder that they’re gone.

“Who?” The delivery guy asked.

“My husband?” Jhonia question.

“I’m not sure, he didn’t act like he was. Please sign here and here for both flowers and box,” The guy responded and Jhonia became confused but she then smiled as she pushed the gifts to the girls.

“Thank you.” After expressing her thanks while signing, she then took the box and the flowers. She placed the box down and put the flowers aside as she then began opening the box where she found a sticky note.

“Happy Birthday to your beautiful mother, I believe she is because so are you. I told you last time you were sleeping talking about your father’s birthday and where you wanted it to be celebrated. I did my best to make your wish come true, but I never forget that you talk about how you would use white tulips to remind yourself they’re not with you and what kind of cake your mother likes. Happy Birthday to your mother Jhonia.” The note had specific words only she and he who did such would remember. Her eyes peaks with tears as she reads his sticky note. Jhonia began to hate herself for thinking it was Nearce who sent it. She began crying out as it was clear that it was Kyhe the one who remembered such details. Writing on the cake was . Happy Birthday Mom From Jhonia, Your Daughter. With a heart at the end. This was the second time Kyhe made her cry and be happy at the same time.

“Why are you so good to me?” Jhonia asked, wiping her tears then removing the thin paper plastic covering the cake. Her tears ran down her cheeks as she smiled at the action and thought of a next man who is not her husband.

“Happy Birthday Mom, I love you and I miss you so much. I’m so happy right now I’m crying my eyes out for someone who is not my husband but he makes me so happy, that I hate it because he shouldn’t and that’s the problem.” Jhonia said her happy birthday to her mom, with misses and love as she then began to speak about Kyhe who makes her happy but he shouldn’t because she is marry to someone else, this someone is someone she expect to have these happy moment for or with and it isn’t and that’s the problem. Jhonia sat staring at the cake with a smile.

“Mom, he would be such an amazing son-in-law wouldn’t he? Hehe! He went and made Dad’s belated birthday so special I cried so hard he remembered every single detail and made it so i would be happy. I bet Dad had forgiven me for skipping his birthday for that ungrateful piece… Point is mom, I know that you are so happy because you’re like me, the simplest things put a smile on our face. I made you proud didn’t I? I got a good job, I’m getting divorce, I have great friends who are probably waiting to send me gifts for me, for you. I have someone who I call mom. She’s just like you, she cares about me so much. I’m a godmother to a sweet little angel. Mom, I’m so happy the fourth year is 3 months away and then 7 months more away and I’m free but something tells me, I will be having the hots for someone else before then. Omg, I’m tearing up again. Haha, the best thing about me crying now is that because I’m happy.”

Jhonia calls to her mom, and begins explaining Kyhe would make an amazing son-in-law to her and her father even though they are not around. She stated how Kyhe had made her father’s late celebrated birthday special and she cried so hard. Knowing that her father had long forgiven her she smiled and said but it turned sour for a brief moment. She continues to explain to her mother about her life and how good and happy it is, revealing why her parents are proud of her. She began crying, she wiped her tears and said. Jhonia spent the rest of the day collecting her gifts from the girls and her Guardian Angel. She was happy until she received a call from Nearce.

“Hello, where are you?” He answered and asked before Jhonia could say hello!

“I’m home, what do you want?” Jhonia responded to him and asked.

“You fucking bitch you have everyone else fooled but not me. You are pretending you are all that good but you’re nothing but a bitch Jhonia, that’s what you are. I’m your husband and regardless of what I have done you should be exactly what you are to me, instead you are sleeping with your boss, you have no shame. After all that happened in the past you still went and slept with him, you didn’t think I would find out did you? You ungrateful bitch.” Nearce went off cursing her for something she had no idea about! Jhonia stood and listened to him calling her a bitch. Explaining to her the kind of wife she should be regardless of what he has done. Jhonia squatted down next to her table chair crying silently, while she listened to the call her husband accused her of yet another example of humiliation and disrespectful accusation on her mother’s birthday.
