Chapter 9 Boyfriend for hire
For a while, Aiden looks down on Blossom. He had suddenly lost his words and her request came out sudden.
“I know you’re not interested in all these girls, So Aiden.. let’s get married.”
This time, Aiden laughs and without uttering a word, he walks away.
Blossom stood there for another seconds as she looks blinky at the door. She sigh and went to pick up her bag , then she walks out of the office.
She can’t believe that she actually said that, but she had to. Blossom can’t imagine herself watch Aiden get married to someone else.
She won’t only be hurt, but she’ll be embarrassed among her friends whom she had always brag to that Aiden belongs to her.
Blossom thinks it’s time she talk to her father and ask for his help. He’d like him to set up an arranged marriage between her and Aiden.
No matter what it might take her, She just want to be with Aiden.
Aiden Turner enters his grandfather’s apartment because he wanted to talk to him again to confirm if he really meant all he said earlier.
“I was expecting you.” Grandfather said to him and motioned on him to sit down.
“Well here I am. Did you went on to tell Blossom to come and persist my life?”
“Blossom? Did she came to your office?.”
Aiden watched him closely before he nods.
“I didn’t. But anyways, Blossom is beautiful and a nice girl. She also comes from a respectable family, have you ever thought about how your life will become if you end up with her?”
“Yes… Miserable!.” Aiden says and Grandfather’s face looks disappointed.
“You rich jerk. Blossom is every Man’s dream, why not just get married to her? Your children will definitely be the cutest if you make babies with her.”
“Grandfather. Enough about Blossom, I accept to go on with the blind date.”
His Grandfather’s eyes sparkles in excitement. He had never imagined Aiden to give in easily, he had only threaten him earlier because he wants him to feel scared and agree to go on the date.
But even at that, he have not expected him to agree.
“So you’re getting married?”
Aiden leans on the chair and look at his grandfather then smirks. “I have to go on the date first, and I’m sure none of this ladies can satisfy me.”
“I made sure I select the best of the girls for you. Since you agree, I’ll arrange three dates for you tomorrow. Hopefully you’ll find the one.”
“I’ll love to play with them.” Aiden smirks and his grandfather groans.
“Don’t play naughty around me. And you have to be decent! Don’t go there and start acting like a piece of trash, you won’t only embarrass yourself there but me also.” Grandfather told him.
But Aiden wasn’t ready to hear it, he have his own plans and he’s not going back on them. Maybe after seeing Blossom, he now wants to do this.
To get married as quick as possible, Aiden wondered what type of expression Trenton will have on his face when he finds out he’s getting married.
Trenton is Aiden’s work partner, they run their own different company but they’re very competitive. Always wanting to take a step ahead of the other.
Aiden doesn’t really worry about all these, Trenton is the worst.
“You want a baby right? Why don’t you relax, and let me make you the grandchild you wanted?”
Now grandfather doesn’t like the tone of Aiden’s voice. But he doesn’t want to worry.
Aiden is right, he wants a grandchild and he should be happy he had accepted to give him what he wanted but still, grandfather thinks he have to make somethings clear.
“Don’t do it because I said that’s what I want. Do it for yourself, Start up your own family. The earlier the better.”
“Go on and Schedule my date, let your manager send it to Wayne. Have a nice day grandfather.”
Aiden stands up and walks away, strangely he was smiling. He hadn’t accept to go on the blind date because he now wants to get married, or because he wants his own family.
He’s doing it for some reason best known to him. And it’s definitely going to be a contract Marriage with a baby involved, just like Wayne suggested.
Aiden knew he have to pay any lady that accepts his offer and he’s not bothered about the money.
He have more than enough.
He gets into his car and step on the gear , then drives out. He wasn’t going back to his house though.
It’s evening and Aiden thought it’d be nice to visit his mother in her Mansion.
She must have been feeling lonely. Not really lonely because she have maids at her beck and calls, but she might just be feeling a bit lonely from missing her son.
Aiden thought he should also tell her mother about his plans of getting married.. He knew his mother is going to be excited, she had also wanted a grandchild but she never talks to him about it always, like his grandfather does.
He stopped at a flower shop to pick up some flowers for his mother, rose flower though. That’s his mother’s favourite flower.
____^^^
Tihana and Diana sat at their usual restaurant as they ordered for spicy noodles and meat. The both girls prefers to eat outside.
Most especially Diana. Tihana feels like it’s better to cook at home instead of eating out as that makes you spend lot of money, but Diana sees the opposite.
Occasionally in the evenings, After Diana had gotten off work, she’ll come over here with Tihana so they can eat dinner.
They’re both known in the restaurant and have become a regular customer.
Diana took another meat from the plate and shove it into her mouth, Tihana’s plate of noddles was in front of her but she was pressing her phone with one hand while holding her stick with the other hand.
“You good?” Diana interrogates.
Tihana looks up from her phone and beam, she nods and drop her phone.
“Just looking up for the company I’ll be working with, I think I need to know alot about them.”
Diana nods in understanding as she stops eating to grab a can of water, then she drinks it.
“So you’re starting tomorrow?.”
“Yes. And Geez, you didn’t tell me who the CEO was.”
Diana grimace and looks at her. “How am I supposed to know? I’d have given you details if I knew anything.”
She nods her head listlessly. “Well, I found out the CEO of the company is Aiden Turner, that rude jerk from the airport.”
Diana whoop over her food when she heard the name Tihana said and then she drank another water to calm herself down.
“This noodles is too spicy.” Diana said, pretending that she choked because the food was hot and spicy, but Tihana understands.
“You knew right?”
“Calm down girl, trust me. I told you I had no idea.”
Diana was saying the truth, she had asked her father to find Tihana a job at a good place but she didn’t say any specific company or try to know about the company when her father tells her he have a job offer for Tihana.
She trusts her father to get Tihana a good job so why will she both investigating?
And hearing that the company belongs to Aiden Turner, Diana could help but feel timorous.
She’s just going to ask Tihana to replace her on her date, how will she accept to go if she finds out it’s with Aiden?
And even if she didn’t tell her Aiden’s name and just say it’s a random guy, Tihana is still going to meet him.
Then what will happen after the date goes wrong as planned and Aiden discovers Tihana works in his company?.
Diana bites her bottom lips nervously, she doesn’t want to put Tihana in any kind of stress or issue, but she can’t say no to her father.
Not when he have done what she pleaded with him to do for her. And she can go on that date by herself! She’s not interested and she can’t stand up for herself.
What happens if she goes there and Aiden wants her? She’s definitely not in for any drama.
Earlier in the morning, Diana had gotten a message that her date with Aiden is tomorrow. And this date isn’t about relationships, it’s about marriage!.
So Diana have her fears, What if Aiden proposes to her when she’s not interested?.
She had planned to talk to her father, that she’s not going on the date because she already have a boyfriend.
Which is a total lie. Her plan is to hire a boyfriend and she already have someone in mind.
Diana suddenly turns to look at Tihana, feeling passionate all of a sudden. She grins and tap Tihana playfully.
“What are you doing? What’s up with the big smile on your face!?” Tihana asks and Diana didn’t try to cover the grin, instead she smiles even more.
“Do you wanna get married?”
Tihana looks at her and laughs, Ofcourse the joke is very funny and it cracks her up.
“Geez Diana, don’t make such joke over spicy food.”
She couldn’t help but wonder why Diana will ask her such silly and weird question. She’s just 23 and haven’t even achieved anything, she’s not even interested in dating and now, Diana is talking about marriage.
How ridiculous!
“I’m serious. Just answer, do you wanna get married?.”
Tihana first look at her friend’s expression and then she drops the stick she was eating her noddles with.
“Yes I’ll, at the right time. When I find the perfect guy.”
There were silence as Diana pouts and make baby faces at Tihana which she understands almost immediately as her eyes widened.
“Your father is setting you up for a blind date again?.” Diana nods and Tihana sighs.
She’s now leaning on the chair and have already lost appetite of the food. As much she hates blind date and whatever that comes after it, Tihana feels jealous of Diana in every little way.
She has such an amazing father who loves and cares for her so much. A father that respects her decision and also stick with her, always wanting what’s best for her.
But she’s different, her father is a total different man. Or maybe, he could have been like Diana’s father if he was actually her real father.
Tihana sighs and look at Diana. “Why are you looking at me like that? You can just turn him down.”
“I could have! But I made a promise to him. I promised him I’d go if he finds you a good job and he already done that.”
Now, Tihana feels bad. She can’t believe Diana made such sacrifice for her and that made her want to tear up but she hold herself back.
Again, Tihana is wondering the best way to reward her for all the times she had helped and had been there for her even when she’s just a no body.
“So? You’re gonna go then?” Tihana query, but Dia shakes her head negatively.
“I won’t. And that’s why I’ll be needing you to do the exact time you did the last time.”
Tihana chuckles as she remembers how she made the man from Diana’s last blind date screaming on top of his lungs.
“I told you I’d stop going for your blind dates. We agreed that will be the last time, so sort this out yourself.” She says and start eating again, avoiding making eye contact with Diana.
“C’mon, just this one last time.” She pleads but Tihana doesn’t want to hear it.
“That’s the same thing as other days.”
“I swear, this is gonna be the last.” Diana promises and now, Tihana looks up at her again.
“How should I be sure?.”
“Cause I’m hiring myself a boyfriend.” Diana precipitates and Tihana just stared at her, taken aback by surprise.
