The Persistent CEO Wants A Baby

Chapter 27 I’m still your boss

The phone rang endlessly with no one to answer it. It was in the purse beside the pillow.

It rang to the end and not up to a second, it started again.

Tihana sleepily took the purse and threw it far from herself as it was disrupting her sleep.

She tried to sleep back but couldn’t because of the protruding headache she was feeling.

She wearily opened her eyes and yawned.

She sat up as she also stretched her body.

She yawned again and stared around.

She was back in the hotel room. How she got there was something she didn’t know.

She tried to recollect what happened the other night but she failed woefully.

She could only remember them going to the club to where she ordered the alcohol.

The headache hit on her again and she yelped lightly. She must have drank too much of the alcohol, now she was paying for it.

She carefully dropped her legs on the floor as she held her head in pain.

She would have to go and get a pain relief drug cause she couldn’t endure the pain any longer.

“And the fairy princess is awake.” Aiden said in sarcasm walking into the room.

Tihana tried as possible as she can to avoid him. She wasn’t ready to exchange words with him right now, not in this state.

“And where the hell do you think you’re going to?” Aiden forcefully dragged her back by the wrist.

He was trying not to explode in anger from all what she did last night and today, she thinks of walking out on him.

“Answer me Tihana, where in hell are you going to?” He repeated his question with anger but Tihana didn’t reply.

“Does today really looks like yesterday night where you displayed all the madness you were born with?” Aiden spatted out to her and she was forced to look up at him.

What happened yesterday night that he was talking about?

“Or giving you the chance to spit out nonsense as you wished to me?”

“What happened yesterday night?” Tihana asked lowly. She hope she didn’t misbehave with him or anyone else.

“You really want to know?” Aiden asked back in a dirty smirk that Tihana badly wished to smack off.

“Yes, I want to know everything in details.” Tihana gulped down nothing.

“Well let’s start with this.” Aiden brought out a bottle from the nylon he entered the room with.

Tihana stared at the bottle in his hands as it looked familiar to her. But how does a bottle has to do with what she wants to know?

He went to sit on the bed, staring at her with a smirk on his face.

Tihana turned to face him.

“I demanded to know what happened last night but here you are, bringing out a bottle.”

“You remember this bottle right?”

Tihana stared at the bottle for a moment and took her gaze back to Aiden.

She remembered now. It was the same alcohol the bartender gave her last night at the club.

“I do, so?” Tihana raised a brow.

“You would drink this again and this time all of it that no drop will remain in the bottle before I tell you anything.” Aiden smirked the more and Tihana scoffed.

Was he crazy? How does he still expects her to drink another bottle of alcohol when she was already facing the consequence of the one she took last night?

“What? You don’t have the guts to do it?” Aiden stood up and daringly came closer to her.

“You aren’t telling me what I want to hear.”

“And I asked you to drink this before I can tell you anything.” Aiden said with a very hostile glare.

“Here have it and drink it up now.” Aiden tried to force it into her hands but she refused.

They struggled against each other and in the process, the bottle dropped to the floor and broke.

The both distanced themselves immediately to avoid it piercing into their feet.

“You broke it?” Aiden asked in a deep frown.

“What were you thinking in the first place?” Tihana half yelled.

“Really?! What was I thinking?” Aiden repeated her question in an angry smile.

“What were you thinking when you got yourself drunk last night in the club, not caring about my reputation?”

“What were you thinking when you had the guts to call me a beast right before my face?” Aiden went on and on, making Tihana think if she really did all of that.

“Huh? Answer me Tihana? Or cat got your tongue?”

Tihana didn’t say a word, she only bowed her head. She was feeling a bit ashamed of herself for letting Aiden see her weakness.

Now, he might use everything he had seen from last night against her in the future.

“You know, I should have allowed him rape you, maybe your head would have been calmed by now.”

Tihana raised her head up instantly at the mention of rape.

“What happened last night? Was I harrassed? And by who?” Tihana walked to Aiden, not minding the broken bottles on the floor.

“Please answer me.” She pleaded with pleading eyes.

“You don’t have the right to ask me questions here and unfortunately for you, I’m answering none of your questions.” Aiden stepped away from her that he was now backing her.

“Fine then, you can go to hell with the answers, I don’t care.” The words flew out of Tihana’s mouth before she could stop it.

Aiden turned like flash to her with rage in his eyes. He grabbed her wrist so tight that Tihana could feel the pain.

“How dare you talk to me in that manner?”

Tihana didn’t say a word because of how scared she has become.

She totally forgot it was her boss standing in front of her, even if he turned out to also be her arrogant husband.

“Don’t you recognize I’m still your boss?”

“I’m sorry for disrespecting you.” Tihana apologized softly and Aiden scoffed as he left her wrist, leaving her to nurse the pain.

“We’re going back to America today in two hours time, start packing your bags.” He informed and left the room after that.
