The Ninth Bride (Samantha and Finley)

Chapter 318

Chapter 318 Weren't Those His Own Words

A comeback? Dale, of all people? 45%

Holly had nothing but contempt for Dale. He had no business sense, so how was he supposed to bounce back? Even when his first wife was alive, she was the one taking care of things. Without her, Dale would've been left with nothing-just like now. "Useless."

Holly had only married Dale for his wealth. Now that he'd lost everything, why would she stick around? Staying with him might make her a target for Samantha, or worse, land her in jail. But if she walked away from Dale, Samantha probably wouldn't bother him anymore, and she could avoid the fallout.

With this in mind, Holly grabbed Amy by the arm and walked off without looking back, coldly throwing over her shoulder, "Dale, I want a divorce. Tomorrow, I'll be waiting for you at the city hall."

Dale stood there, speechless.

Meanwhile, completely unaware of Holly's plans, Samantha had just finished discussing the company's future with the shareholders. Since Wallace Corporation was primarily in the clothing business and Finley's company had a foothold in almost every industry, securing even a single order from Dean Corporation would be enough to keep the Wallaces afloat.

eas. Her vision was to expand Wallace However, Samantha didn't plan to stop at clothing and had big Corporation into other industries, with a special focus on talent agencies and the film industry. She

wanted to gather all the talented artists who had been wronged in her past life and help them reclaim their success. Rather than invest in new talent, she preferred to rebuild a team with these forgotten stars and help them shine again. As for those with real scandals, she believed it was time for their fans to see their true colors.

The shareholders, while initially cautious, decided to back her plans. Finley's support reassured them, and after weighing the risks, they figured there wasn't much to lose. "We trust Miss Wallace."

Samantha closed her file and nodded. "Alright, if there are no objections, I'll move forward with the plan. You can all head back now."

The shareholders filed out of the meeting room, leaving Samantha behind. She took out her phone and sent a message about the company's leadership change

"Effective immediately, Samantha Wallace will be the new head of Wallace Corporation, replacing Dale Wallace. A meeting with all senior executives will be held in ten minutes."

As soon as she sent the message, Samantha noticed Finley watching her with a smile. "Why are you staring at me like that?"

Finley grinned. "I just realized how confident and impressive you look when you're working seriously."

Weren't those his own words? Hadn't he told her before that confidence was key to succeeding as president?
