The Ninth Bride (Samantha and Finley)

Chapter 257

Chapter 257 Give it Back

"Do not blame me if I stop holding back," Samantha warned.

With that, she executed a shoulder throw and slammed Emily forcefully onto the ground. Emily, in excruciating pain, could not rise. She watched helplessly as Samantha took the diamond necklace and walked away. How could Samantha just take her diamond necklace?

Samantha had gone too far.

"Samantha, the diamond necklace is mine! You cannot take it. Samantha, return it to me. I demand you give it back, Samantha!"

Samantha continued to walk away, soon disappearing from Emily's sight.

Back in the classroom.

Samantha stored the diamond necklace away and quietly paid attention to her teacher.

An hour later, Hazel returned, drenched in sweat, with the phone she just bought for Samantha. She handed it over and said, "Here is the new phone I bought for you. Now, do you not think you should return my phone to me?" The sight of Hazel out of breath and asking for her phone back made Samantha suspect that Hazel's phone indeed held a secret.

Samantha took the phone from her pocket and threw it to Hazel. She then put the new phone Hazel had bought for her away and returned her attention to her notes.

Outside the door.

Garrison and Robert stood outside Samantha's classroom. Robert remarked, "I just heard that Samantha took the diamond necklace Hazel gave to Emily. Apparently, Emily is Finley's new sister." Garrison, with a cold expression, turned to Robert. "What does that have to do with me?"

Robert, noting Garrison's lack of interest in Finley's affairs, shook his head. "If you say it does not concern you, then it does not."

With that, Robert went off to the restroom while Garrison walked in the opposite direction.

...

Time passed quickly.

In the afternoon, Garrison stopped Emily, who had just left the academy. Emily, noticing how handsome Garrison was, instinctively tucked her hair behind her ear. "Who are you?" Garrison did not answer Emily's question. Instead, he coldly said, "I heard you are very close to Finley."

Although Emily was not particularly close to Finley, Emily still responded, "Yes, I am very close to Fin. Look, Fin sends a car to pick me up every day. That shows just how close we are, does it not?" Garrison glanced at the car parked nearby, which was indeed Finley's. He nodded and turned to leave. Emily dreamily watched Garrison's retreating figure.

"He's so handsome!"

How could there be such a perfect man in the world?

...

Meanwhile, with Samantha...

Since Samantha needed to sell the diamond necklace, she had the driver leave the school with just Emily. Samantha decided to take a cab. The driver, as usual, complied and left once Emily was in the car.

Samantha arrived at the largest jewelry store in town. She handed the diamond necklace to the safes associate and inquired, "How much can your store offer for this diamond necklace if I want to sell it?"

The sales associate closely examined the necklace. "This necklace is from last year's collection. Additionally, the chain is somewhat dirty. If you wish to sell it, we can offer a maximum of

500,000."
