Chapter 3867
"That's great!" Den clasped one of his hands over the other gratefully and said excitedly, "I'll take the car away first then, and you can get him to contact me in a couple of days. I will treat you to a big meal after I sell this car!"
Benedict waved his hand, and he had a serious expression as he said, "You don't need to treat me to a meal. It's not easy for you either!"
Five minutes later. Den felt extreme gratitude toward his friend as he left the car dealership in his coveted Porsche 718.
At this point, he did not know what kind of nightmare awaited him with this car.
He also did not know that not only would he end up losing his one hundred thousand dollars, but that he would also be carrying a high-interest loan, and that he would eventually have to rely on his parents to sell their house to help to relieve him of his debts.

Meanwhile, Kathleen, who was staying at Aurous International Hotel, had just sent Claire out together with Kelly.
After the three women had had lunch together, they had continued chatting in Kathleen's room all afternoon, and Claire had no choice but to leave only when it got dark.
After seeing Claire leave in a taxi, Kelly then asked Kathleen with some surprise," Miss Fox, I only gave Claire the slot for the master class because of you. Claire is not a fool, and she should be able to see right through this. So, why did she only prepare a gift for me but not you?'
Kathleen smiled as she said, "It's good that she did not prepare a gift for me. If she really did prepare a gift for me, all of my hard work would have gone to waste."
Kelly was puzzled.
She asked tentatively, "Miss Fox, what do you mean by that? I don't quite understand..."
Kathleen said seriously, "It's difficult
to explain this kind of thing in a few words. Oskia is a society that relies heavily on favors. Aside from immediate families, almost all other forms of social relations would have to rely on promotion through favors. As the saying goes, if a person respects me, I would give the other party even more respect. This is very different from the interpersonal social society in Europe and the United States." As she spoke of this, she paused slightly and added, "A friendly reminder that I can give to you is that the best way to get along with an Oskian is to make her owe you a favor."
Kelly nodded with seeming understanding, and in her heart, she became more and more impressed with Kathleen, who was much younger than her.
With that being said, Kathleen returned to her room and made a phone call to her grandfather, Jordan.
As soon as the call was connected, she asked with concern, "Grandpa, is everything still comfortable for you at Shangri-La?"
Jordan sighed and said, "Comfortable, my a *s! It feels like a prison!"
Kathleen asked in confusion, "Grandpa, why do you say that?'
Jordan complained, "The staff said that no one is allowed to leave the hotel until the end of the auction. No one is even allowed to leave their room without permission! You have to report to them first and inform them of your reason for wanting to leave the room, and you can only do So after getting their approval. Leaving the room without approval is considered a serious violation. You will get a warning for the first time, but you will be deprived of your qualification to participate in the auction if it happens for the second time..."
Kathleen asked in surprise, "The management is so strict?!"
"Yes!" Jordan said in exasperation, "Meals and water are sent directly to the room by the service staff, and the food delivery people also want to f*cking control the clothes that I
wear! They insist that I wear the
clothes that I have been issued. Otherwise, it would be considered a disciplinary violation. They refused to allow it when I wanted to go downstairs for a walk after eating, saying that the walk was not necessary and thus, it was not approved."
Kathleen sighed helplessly and comforted him, "Grandpa, this is the seller's market, after all. There are so many people who are just like you, so you don't have to mind it too much."
Jordan sighed and said with righteous indignation, "You just don't know how dark this place is! They won't let me take a walk and instead, they said that they can send a treadmill to my room. However, the service fee for sending a treadmill will actually cost me six hundred and eighty thousand dollars!"
