The Last Ceo’s Deal

Chapter 19: Prince of wickedness

CHAPTER NINETEEN.

Fanuel’s POV.

She was horrified when I said that and everyone gasped. Mum seemed pleased, Jayden looked worried…not that I care about their opinion but I’ve made up my mind.

There’s no way I’m getting married to a random stranger. I’ve thought this over and over that my head hurts, Women are obsessed and clingy.

I wasn’t ready to be called a husband yet and to do the duties required from them, God forbid such shit!

I literally had no one in mind, my ex would gladly come back if I had asked her to come, but she was one spoiled, clingy and possessive bitch.

Mum disliked her, Jayden detest her and I hate her! It was all a business shit with her father who later persuaded my dad to let me ask her out to go on a date with her, the audacity!!

I had to do it, he was the freaking president’s daughter and business had to flow. It was the worst moment of my life as I endured her demands. Every damn thing we did was for the media, she loved being flaunted and showcased to the world, even in the bathroom, she was going live on Instagram.

Spoilt brat!!

I needed someone I can control, someone I don’t need to feel obliged or entitled to as a husband. I thought of the person that put me through this mess and grinned.

Why didn’t I think of that all along?

His daughter will be the sacrificial lamb and save me from all this mess.

We have till next week to appear before the court and I don’t want that. A lot of investors have withdrawn their investments and staff are resigning. The press keeps destroying the name of the company and they sent a last warning concerning the loan.

I was depressed.

I am going to make a deal with her, it’s simple. Something appealing and fake.

She gets to sign a contract with me.

“Please don’t do this to me” She pleaded in tears.

“Tell that to your runaway father.”

“I can’t marry you!”

“And you think I want to?”

“There are thousands of classy girls you can pick, why me?”

“Cause you’re related to the founder of this whole mess!!”

“I’m not ready to get married!!”

“Tell that to the birds… we are getting married next week.”

“Please, I beg you.. Stop doing this, I can’t bear the thought of staying close to you.”

“I know I’m hot, but don’t worry we’ll stay in separate rooms.”

“That’s not what I meant!?” She yelled.

“Fanuel, I think you should give her time to think about it, it’s just too sudden” Jayden said worriedly and I glared at him.

“Stay clear from this Jay!!” I get really pissed off with his sudden attitude of always defending her, it annoys me crazily.

“Talk to your friend Edward, has he thought this over?”

“He has Jay, the company is crumbling and he needs to act fast” Edward said and he sighs in surrender.

“So get prepared Christine, you will be going out with the designer any moment from now to pick your shitty wedding dress”

“I will never get married to you!!” She glared and I sent a heavy slap across her cheeks.

“Fanuel!!!” They all yelled at me but I ignored them.

“One more word of negativity from you and your mum and dear brother will pay for it immensely”

“Is this how you will treat her when you finally get married to her?” Mum finally asked and I scoffed.

I noticed someone staring intently at me and I followed the gaze.

” What the fuck are you staring at?” I asked the girl who happens to be Christine’s friend.

“Nothing” she stammered and still stared at my face.

“Bounce out!!” I yelled and she shook in fear.

“Hey wait?” She stopped on her tracks.

“What’s that your name again?”

“I’m Diana, a final year stu…..”

“You’re in need of a psychiatrist, don’t forget that, I asked for your name not your history”

She bowed in shame and I continued.

“Diana, as her friend you will be her maid of honor on our wedding day.” She glared in anger and stared at her friend in disgust.

“Have any problem with that?”

“No Fanuel”

“It’s Boss!!! Get the fuck out of my sight”

“Jayden, get me Shirley temple on an ice cube.. I need a drink” he stared at me hesitatingly before walking over to the wine shelf.

I stared at Christine who was sprawled on the floor as a result of the slap, she was beautiful….. it’s so hard to deny that no matter how much I disliked her, her eyes were one thing I loved the most and she had a killer body.

Mum sighed tiredly and exited the living room for us.

“It’s a one year contract” I told her and she raised her head up.

“You get married to me, bear me a child and get lost from my life for good!”

“Bear you a child?”

“Oh don’t get so excited yet, it won’t be so soon” She hissed.

“Stop assuming things Mr Fanuel, the thought of me getting close to give me creeps…its like a thousand cockroaches climbing my delicate skin” she gritted her teeth in anger.

“The feeling is mutual , I get the worst feeling times ten. The documents will be here tomorrow for signing and we will visit your Mum and brother to tell them about the latest development.”

She stared at me like I’m some sort of Prince of wickedness but I collected my drink and sipped it with style. I’ve got what I wanted all I want now is for things to fall into place after this sham of a wedding.

“So are you in or not?”

I asked not that she had a choice but as they would always say that we need to hear from the horse’s mouth first, and to shut a particular defender here.

I smirked with satisfaction when she said those words.

“I’m in.”
