Chapter 2635
Sean glanced at Elton and Bernie beside him and said with a smile.
Elton and Bernie scratched their heads awkwardly and beamed.
"After we finish browsing Antiques Street, let's head to the new company office together and get acquainted with it. At least we won't end up not knowing where our company is in the future."
Daniel and his brothers immediately nodded.
Then, the group continued to stroll through Antiques Street. However, Antiques street had been around for so many years, and each stall was run by shrewd peddlers, who made it increasingly difficult to find hidden treasures.
Even with Sean's keen eye, he had not come across a genuine antique after strolling through Antiques Street for so long. All he saw were counterfeit antiques that looked authentic.
After another ten minutes or so, Sean suddenly stopped in his tracks.
Not far away, an old man with white hair in a black robe opened up a large bag of items and placed the items on the ground. He then took out a small stool and sat in front of the stall.
Seeing the old man, Sean smiled and said, "Come on. Let's check out that stall!".
Willow glanced at the old man, her eyes flashing with shock.
The old man had white hair and a white beard. With the black robe he wore, he looked like a chaplain.
"Sean, you're not thinking of checking out the old man because he looks like a chaplain, are you?" Willow asked.
Sean shook his head before replying with a smile, "A chaplain? You're right.
Let's go. Do you think I'll get tricked easily?"
Willow frowned slightly, a hint of skepticism flashing in her eyes as she followed Sean.
Daniel and his brothers quietly followed Sean, looking like diligent bodyguards.
"Oh! I've been hearing doves calling in my yard since I stepped out today. I had a feeling something good was going to happen! I didn't expect it to happen so soon. I've just set up my stall, and here comes a distinguished customer!"
Seeing Sean and the rest, the old chaplain immediately smiled enthusiastically and said to Sean and Willow.
Daniel and his brothers were ignored by the old chaplain as they were only bodyguards.
"Your doves seem to be quite accurate. Does something good happen whenever they call?" Sean answered with a chuckle.
The old chaplain's expression froze for a moment. Then, he stroked his white beard and said with a smile, "You must be kidding me, sir. Come, check out the items on my stall. Each one is a genuine antique! Since you're my first customer, I'll give you a discount if you find something you like!"
Sean chuckled and crouched down before the stall. His gaze swept over the various items which seemed to be replicas and worthless.
"Sir, as a chaplain, it's rather unethical to trick others with fake goods."
