The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Frank growled and pointed at the radio. "What's this?"

"A toy!" The woman quickly exclaimed despite her shock. "It's nothing that amazing, please don't misunderstand!"

Frank laughed coolly. "You actually don't recognize me? Fine, I'll give it to you straight-I'm Lugh Frankton, the one you had just sent assassins after!"noveldrama

"You are?!"

The middle-aged woman was shocked and tried to turn and run.

She was naturally not getting away, as Frank appeared like a phantom before her, cutting her off! Smiling in embarrassment, she pleaded, "Please, let's just talk about this. I haven't done anything..." "Shut up!" Frank snapped. "What do you want to live or to die?"

"To live! Of course I want to live!"

Dropping to her knees with a thud, the middle-aged woman started begging, telling Frank to think of her family and whatnot.

Frank rolled his eyes. "Cut that out! Now tell me, where are the other safehouses?"

The middle-aged woman shook her head. "No one knows everything, for the sake of secrecy!"

"Then call up everyone on your list!"

"What..."

"Or would you rather die?"

"Okay, okay!" The middle-aged woman promptly picked up her radio and sent a message via Morse code. Frank stood nearby, smirking in silence as he folded his arms before his chest.

The middle-aged woman was doing the same even as she worked the radio Frank could not blame her for what happened, not when he came here on his own!

Unfortunately for her, however, her superiors did not tell her who Frank really was, so she presumed that he was just some pretty face who had money and nothing else going for him.

Even as she sent her message, she made sure to tell them to be prepared to kill that brat!

"Done!" she exclaimed eventually, lifting her hands from the radio.

"How soon will they be here?"

"I don't know... probably one after the other!"

"Really? I don't think so!"

The middle-aged woman flinched, but it was not possible-Frank could not have deciphered her code! "Quit threatening me already," she groaned. "I did everything you say. Just spare my life... It's really no big deal to you."

"Sure... But before that, I'll show you something good!" Frank said, having made his plans and turned around, saying nothing else.

When he did, the middle-aged woman's look of terror turned to calm.

The brat would soon fall for his youthful insolence!

Even if the punishment for failing a mission was severe, who knew that this brat would come to them on his own?

Moreover, it was such a shame that

such a handsome brat like him had to die! If her superiors were not pressing her, the middle-aged woman would certainly like to keep Frank around, disciplining him into her loyal pet!
