The Divorced Girlboss’ Regret ( Wyatt Coleman’s )

Chapter 57

Ann was slightly taken aback by Hayley’s words. However, she smiled at that.

The latter’s stubborn attitude was very cute. If she remained obstinate, Ann would stand a chance to be with Wyatt in the future.

Since Hayley had been married to Wyatt for three years, the man would most likely be willing to reconcile with her if she wanted to.

Moreover, Ann knew that Wyatt was a very loyal person.

Yet, Hayley was foolish. She was so lucky, but was too ignorant and she underestimated her ex–husband’s true powers.

“Haha, you seem very confident, Ms. Lawson. Don’t forget the bet between us.” Ann smiled brightly.

“Of course, I won’t forget it. I’ll choose William while you choose Wyatt. We’ll see the results after one month.” Hayley smirked. “Ten days have passed, but Wyatt hasn’t done anything yet. Do you think he’ll be able to surpass William?”

“I think William is nothing compared to Wyatt.” Ann grinned in response.

Hayley remarked calmly, “When the time comes, you’ll have to accept defeat. However hope you’ll adhere to the rules of our game, Ms. Moore. You can’t help Wyatt secretly.”

“Of course. Why would he need my help? He has always been helping me instead.” Ann’s

smile widened.

“As expected, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.” Hayley laughed disdainfully and looked at the other woman, who continued smiling meaningfully. She thought, I’ll see whether you’ll continue smiling when the time comes.”

After that, Hayley started giving her speech.

Since she was good at speaking, many people clapped for her.

When she finished her speech and prepared to leave, Ann stopped her. “Ms. Lawson, aren’t you going to wait? Wyatt is coming onstage soon.”

“Wyatt? Why would he be here? How’s he useful to this event?” Hayley asked calmly.

“You’ll find out soon.” On the other hand, Ann winked.

As such, Hayley stood in a corner and waited for Wyatt. She wondered what he would do

once he was onstage.

It was the opening ceremony for her new factory. It didn’t seem to concern Wyatt at all. She couldn’t understand why he would be there.

She mused, “What would he do? Is he going to try and win the favor of others by performing?”

The woman looked forward to watching Wyatt humiliate himself. Moreover, she also wanted Ann to be embarrassed because of him.

So, she waited for Wyatt to put on a good show for everyone.

Then, Ann declared passionately, “Next, let’s put our hands together to welcome an important guest at this ceremony. He’s my special guest, Mr. Wyatt Coleman!”

The guests, who were unaware of the situation, immediately burst into loud applause. Meanwhile, the Lawsons were very confused. Why would Ms. Moore invite Wyatt up onto the stage?

All of them instinctively looked at Wyatt.

At first, he had been dozing off in his seat. Wyatt didn’t expect Ann to call him to go on stage. Suddenly, he had become the center of attention.

Naturally, he didn’t want to go on stage. There was no use for that.

Yet, he noticed Ann’s enthusiastic expression and heard the applause for him. As such, he could only stand up and walk toward the stage.

He walked onto the stage and looked at Ann in confusion.

After that, the other party walked forward and grabbed his arm in front of everyone. Upon seeing this, everyone was astonished and began talking among themselves.
