The Billionaire’s Mistaken Prostitute Grief

Chapter 12

Amelia’s Point Of View.

“Amelia! Where are you?!”

I was in the kitchen when I heard dad yell, I quickly went out and looked at him. I saw him frowning and looking at me evilly.

“You slapped your stepmother?!” he yelled at me angrily, and I just held my breath because I’m used to this. So that old woman really told him about it?

“She called my children devour, dad! Do you think I won’t be angry at what she said?” I tried to be calm but every time I remembered Cecelia’s face I felt like I wanted to explode with anger.

“But I hope you showed some respect!” Dad shouted loudly, his shout sounded like thunder in the whole mansion. The maid who was going to pass us just turned around and didn’t continue walking.

“Maybe you have a grudge against Cecelia that’s why you slapped her,” dad added causing my blood to boil.

“Yes, dad! I don’t like her ever since you brought her here to the house! I didn’t feel even the slightest liking for that girl,” I said annoyed and he looked at me evilly.

“I know you don’t like her, Amelia! But I hope you show her respect as my wife!” he shouted angrily.

I frowned because of what I heard. “Why, dad?! Is she showed me respect?! You’re not blind to not see that there’s a fight brewing between Cecelia and me!” I shouted angrily, I couldn’t control my feelings anymore. “That’s why when I was abroad, I felt a great silence because I was far away from you! That’s why I hesitated to return because I don’t want my children to experience what that Cecelia is doing to me!”

“She wouldn’t treat you like that if you treated her well in the first place!” dad shouted and pointed his finger at me.

“It’s not like that, dad! I wish she had shown me her good manners so I could accept her! But no, do you know the real reason why I don’t like that girl?!” I shouted angrily and couldn’t stop myself from shouting. “She told me it’s a good thing mom died! Because mom didn’t take good care of you! Was she right to say that?!” I was angry and I could feel my veins coming out because of the anger.

Dad couldn’t speak.

“You’re a useless husband if you let her say that,” I said angrily. “I don’t understand why you’re so quick to forget mom! It’s even better if it’s just the two of us and you’re not remarried with someone who has a trash attitude! Our relationship started to fall apart when you married someone new, dad!”

“Do you think losing your mom didn’t hurt me too?! It hurts me too, Amelia!” he shouted angrily. “You should be happy that I was able to fall in love again after your mom died! Because if I hadn’t met Cecelia I might have gone crazy and died!”

“I hope it didn’t happen like that,” I uttered and didn’t think about what I was going to say because my father slapped me and that made me sit on the floor.

“You really have no respect for anyone! We didn’t raise you that way! But why does it seem like if you talk to me, I’m not your dad?!” he shouted angrily but I just bent down and held my cheek.

He slapped me, my Dad slapped me for the first time.

“You’re a mother now, Amelia! I hope you understand how I feel as your parent because you already have children!” he shouted angrily before leaving in front of me. When he left, I quickly wiped the tears that fell from my eyes one after another.

“Are you okay, Amelia?”
