Sweet 27

Sleeping with You is More Important Than Work

“Enough.” Sigrid frowned. “I’m not a tool for reproduction, nor a substitute for you. Don’t use these words. To make me unhappy. It won’t do you any good.”

She brushed past Rebecca and walked to George’s office.

Rebecca turned and looked at Sigrid as she walked away. The smile on Rebecca’s face became more and more proud.

“How could it not benefit me? As long as I see that you’re not doing well, that is my greatest benefit!” Rebecca thought to herself.

It took Sigrid only 20 more steps before her mood improved.

Of course Rebecca was likely to say something that made her uncomfortable. After all, it wasn’t because of her pre–marital affair that George had gotten angry and changed the bride. George had never cared about who the bride was. When it came to having a child, it seemed that it was Mrs. Toland who was very anxious about that. George was not in a hurry at all!

Otherwise, why would he have bought so many condoms to prevent her from getting pregnant?

When she thought of it that way, Sigrid’s mood was much better. The moment she opened the door, the man’s familiar scent wafted over her.

“Are you jealous?” he said in a low sexy voice.

Sigrid was shocked. She felt that all her senses were concentrated on her neck. When she felt the man’s breath, she trembled with fear. “What… what?”

“Were you jealous just now?” Although it was a question, the man’s tone was full of affirmation. Sigrid was a little confused. What had she done just now to make him think that she was jealous?

“I asked you to wait for me in the lounge. Why did you leave? Do you like to play at being angry so much?” It was really cute.

When Sigrid heard that, she frowned discontentedly. “I looked for a long time, but I didn’t find the lounge.

As soon as she said this, George remembered that it was the first time that she’d come to the Toland Group, let alone to his office.

He put his arm around her and opened the door that Sigrid had thought was the door to the bathroom.

Sigrid was stunned when she saw the simple and spacious room inside.

This… was the lounge he was talking about???” she thought to herself.

This was embarrassing… It must be not only George, but also Rebecca who thought that she was jealous and had left in a huff.

“Your lounge is really big.” In order to ease the embarrassment, Sigrid pretended to be curious and went in. Seeing that the big bed in the lounge looked soft and comfortable, she looked at George. “Can I sleep here for a while?”

He would be working in his office while she was sleeping here in the lounge. It was wonderfull

George raised his eyebrows. “Okay.”

Sigrid quickly took off her shoes and lay down on the bed. It was moderately soft and very comfortable to lie on. She lay down to catch up on some sleep when she saw that George had followed her onto the bed and had laid down beside her. –

Slecting with You is More important Than Work

She was a little confused. “Why are you coming up here? Don’t you have work to do?”

“Sleeping with you is more important than work.”

Sigrid was speechless. Why did she feel that the word sounded flirty? “Sleeping‘ meant just ordinary sleep, right…?” she thought to herself.

While Sigrid wrestled with this dilemma, George had already taken her in his arms. “Go to sleep.” he murmured.

“Wait, you’re still wearing clothes!” Didn’t he notice that he was wearing a suit? she wondered.

George, who had intended to close his eyes, paused and gave her a meaningful look. About two seconds later, he sighed helplessly and then smiled dotingly. He sat up and began to take off his suit jacket.
