Sweet Wife in Hidden Marriage

Chapter 47 Being Lucky to be with You

Chapter 47 Being Lucky to be with You

"You... and me..." Lilian thought she heard it wrong. She stared at him for an instant and asked, "It was you?" She wasn't sure and had never felt so anxious before. She was so afraid that he would say no.

"You who do you think it was?" He asked as he squinted his eyes which were giving out dangerous lights.

"You? It was really you?" She seemed to have ignored what he said later. This question was the only one she cared about just now. The shame and embarrassment which had filled her heart were all gone. She felt a great burden taken off her shoulder. Then her lips curled and she couldn't stop murmuring, "It was you... it was you..."

Archibald looked at how she reacted and thought she wouldn't believe it. He pulled off his tie and then grabbed her hand. Then he said to her, "If you don't believe me, you can see the evidence yourself!"

Lilian was panting lightly. Her hand trembled when it touched his buttons. She swallowed secretly and started to unbutton his shirt, with her hands shaking. The buttons of men's shirts were way less delicate than women's, but she still failed multiple times.

It wasn't easy for her to unbutton the first two buttons. Her palms were leaking sweats, but she could see what she left on her under that shirt. As she continued to unbutton the third and the fourth ones, she stopped to see the red scratches on the man's sturdy two packs. It was all from her.

Suddenly, her hidden emotions burst out. She covered her face and started wailing.

Sometimes women are really weird creatures. She had just stopped crying, but within the blink of an eye, she was wailing so desperately.

Archibald had never been so annoyed before. He pulled her hands off her face and yelled at her, "What is this for? Do you really have to feel that sad for knowing it was me?" Anger was surging in his chest.

He said with his cold but charming voice, "No matter how sad you are, it won't change the fact that you're my woman now."

As soon as he finished yelling at her, the crying woman suddenly buried herself in his arms, which was quite unusual. His frowned eyebrows suddenly relieved, and his angry face was taken place by surprise.

Lilian looked at him and put her jaw on his shoulder. Then she closed her eyes and let clear tears stream down her face. Her lips were trembling. Inside her, there was a voice that kept screaming, "It was you... that's okay..."

She opened her eyes and saw the clear tooth mark on his shoulder. Then she opened her mouth and bit on it. She found the mark fit her teeth well. It was definitely from her.

Archibald had been so glad that the woman buried herself in his arms, but soon he felt the pain on his shoulder. The woman was so capricious, and this was the lesson he had to learn.

"Lilian, are you done? Haven't you finished it last night?" He said as he pushed her off. He looked at his shoulder with fierce looks. The mark was so deep that he didn't even know when it would heal. The original mark was from the moment when he forced himself into her last night. He now felt sorry for being a bit rough.

Lilian walked into the bathroom with the quilt on her. Then he changed the clothes Archibald asked someone to deliver in. When she unwrapped the quilt, she saw some unspeakable trace on her chest and between her legs.

She wasn't a virgin anymore. She had transformed into a woman after last night, but the man who made her a woman was not her husband.

She didn't feel sorry for Sebastian at all. For a long time, they had been a couple that was seemingly in harmony but actually at variance. What had happened yesterday wasn't what she wanted, because she didn't want to have anything to do with Archibald, but God made fool of her and brought them together last night.

Her body wasn't dirty at all. Archibald must have helped her to take a shower last night. Thinking about she standing in front of him naked, her face blushed again.

"No, no!" She patted her face and looked at herself in the mirror, "Lilian! Be realistic! Last night is just an accident! Accident!" She tried and tried to persuade herself. No matter what had happened, she would never be with him because she was already Mrs. Palmer!

"Lilian, are you alright?" Seeing her stay in the room for so long, Archibald knocked at the door and asked.

"I'm good," she answered. She decided to left those annoying questions behind and started to get dressed.

A Long-sleeved shirt, long trousers, and high collar blouse helped her to conceal all the marks on her body. As she walked out, Archibald had already got dressed. His coat was hanging in his arms. He was standing by the window silently, waiting for her.

As she came out, he walked over. His eyes were shimmering. Lilian could tell that he was in a good mood.

"Let's go. I'll take you out for eating," he said as he tried to grab her hand, only to be avoided by her.

"I'm going back to the radio station. I've got work to do in the afternoon," she said flusteredly.

Archibald checked the watch on his wrist and said, "That's OK. It's still early. I can give you a ride as soon as we finish eating." Then he grabbed her hand and took her out without giving him the chance to explain.

Lilian couldn't resist. As she staggered to keep up with him, she saw a streak of redness on the bed. She immediately realized that it was from last night. Now she felt awkward again.

The showy Spyker C8 stopped at the entrance of the radio station. Lilian woke up and focused her eyes on the gate of her workplace. She then realized that they had reached their destination. She unlocked the seat belt, pushed the door open, and got out. Before she closed the door, she said thank you to him.

Archibald frowned at her politely. Then he lowered down the car window and called her name loudly, "Lilian!"

Lilian paused and looked back at him, only to hear him saying, "Stay here when you finish your work. I'll pick you up here."

She wanted to refuse that, but he had already slammed the gas and left, without giving her the opportunity. She hesitated for a while and realized that the man was taking her seriously.

"Okay, the song's over. Welcome to my program today, I'm Lulu," Lilian's partner greeted the audience and passed the microphone to Lilian, but Lilian was sitting there like a fool. She forgot what she should say.

Lulu touched Lilian with her elbow, trying to remind Lilian. Lilian finally woke up and read Lulu's eye hints. She realized she was live streaming, so she spoke up in a hurry.

The producer and director glanced at Lilian. The woman was obviously out of state. He frowned and looked confused because he thought Lilian was being happy for these days. Now the woman looked as if she had lost her soul.

She didn't even know how she finished that program. As soon as she's done, she rubbed her forehead and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Lilian, you don't look well, and you were absent-minded in the show just now. Is there anything wrong?" Lulu asked and passed a glass of water to Lilian.

"Ah? It's just... I don't feel very well," Lilian curled her lips and answered. Suddenly she realized that Archibald said he would pick her up. Her heartbeat fastened. She packed her things and said to Lulu, "I got to go now, bye!"

"Oh, you'd better go to the hospital. You don't look very well," Lulu reminded her.

Lilian was hiding away from Archibald like a coward. She hid behind the pillar and looked at the door of the radio station like a thief. Archibald's car wasn't there. She quickly ran out.

Sebastian was staying not far away from the gate of the station. He saw Lilian run out quickly and walk across the sidewalk to the opposite shop.

He didn't know why Lilian had to run that fast. He turned his car to the shop on the other side of the street.

Lilian seemed to already have her destination. She walked into a pharmacy and asked the salesperson where the birth control pill was. She didn't even realize she needed it until Lulu reminded her. She couldn't take the risk. She couldn't bear the consequence of having Archibald's child.

She bought a bottle of water. Then she tore off the film of the pill. She threw the film into the wastebasket, and then swallowed the pills with water.

"What's that pill?" A man was asking.
