Chapter 953 Could She Be Pregnant
Chapter 953 Could She Be Pregnant
Unable to contain his inner rage, Kurt crushed his phone screen to pieces.
The sharp glass pierced into his flesh, oozing droplets of dark red blood.
“That old geezer got what he deserved. It's entirely his own fault. He doesn't deserve anyone's sympathy. This is the result of him abandoning his wife and children in the past. Now he's been bitten back by that vixen he had been obsessing over. Truly, heaven is watching. The heavens are fair, indeed. Even if that venomous woman, Laila, doesn't make a move, I'll make sure that old wretch wishes he were dead and doesn't meet a peaceful end.”
The elderly man parted his lips and wanted to say, “That's your father; the man your mother risked her own life to protect.”
He was about to voice that out, but he swallowed his words instead.
Back then, when Kurt and Cadence were falsely accused, Wilfred didn't hesitate to kick them out. Now, seeing his current predicament, it was nothing less than what he deserved.
He truly deserves it.
“Mr. Kurt, what do you plan to do next?”
Kurt slowly turned around, his gaze falling on the garden view outside the window. He said plainly, “Of course, it's to reclaim what originally belonged to me. And also, I'll make sure those who once bullied us brothers don't meet a good end. That wicked mother and son should be the first to bear the brunt.”
The elderly man remained silent, not uttering a word.
Kurt added, “After enduring humiliation and bearing heavy burdens for so many years, I've been waiting for the day of revenge to arrive. Now that I have the advantage of time, location, and people on my side, I refuse to believe that I will repeat the mistakes of the past.”
After he finished speaking, he gestured toward the elderly man.
Seeing this, the latter quickly leaned in to listen.
Kurt whispered into his ear, “That old geezer must be so unwilling to be dominated by that despicable woman, right? I bet he's frantically searching for a divine physician to cure his illness right now. Then, he'll seize power and restore his former glory. Spread the word that the head of the Rogers family has found an acupuncturist ready to treat his intellectually disabled son. “Once that old geezer hears this, he will definitely pay attention. What I want is for him to seek out that acupuncturist, understand?”
The elder saw the bloodthirsty intent in Kurt's eyes and knew that this acupuncturist was under his command.
“Mr. Kurt, he is, after all, your father...”
“Enough. From the moment my mother died and me and my brother were driven out of our home, he ceased to be my father. The pain he inflicted on us, mother and sons, I will return to him in full. You must do as I say.”
“Yes, yes, indeed.”
After the elderly man left, Kurt sent a message on his broken-screened phone: Take the Encyclopedia of Poison and the toxin formula to the designated place and exchange them for Eunice.
After sending the message, he put away his phone and strolled toward the door.
Upon leaving the study, he went straight to the bedroom. Pushing open the door, he found a woman tied up on the bed.
Looking at the face that had fascinated him for many years, Kurt felt the gloom in his heart instantly vanish.
Strolling to the side of the bed, he looked down at the woman who was in a daze.
After a moment of silence, he tentatively reached out to touch her.
Blaze snapped out of her daze and coldly stared at the hand reaching out toward her. In a hoarse voice, she said, “I'm on my period. I can't entertain you. Scram.”
Kurt's hand, which was originally clutching her collar, paused. Once he regained his composure, he shifted direction, placing his palm against her pale face.
As he gently caressed her, his movements were tender, completely devoid of the darkness and malice that used to be present in the past.
Blaze looked at him icily, her gaze filled with deep contempt and disdain.
Kurt could sense her intense disgust, his eyes narrowing slightly as a hint of danger flashed in his gaze.
He leaned in closer to her ear and spoke in a teasing tone. “Don't worry. I don't mind fighting through blood and sweat.”
“Shameless.” Blaze spoke through gritted teeth.
At first, she was solely consumed by the desire to die.
After enduring his ruthless torment several times, she had only one thought in her mind—to kill this despicable scumbag herself.
Yes, she must take this scoundrel's life with her own hands. Only by killing him could she find some solace after that.
Once he was gone, she would then end her own life.
Upon seeing the undisguised hatred flashing in her eyes, Kurt felt his heart suddenly tighten.
She shouldn't hate me.
How can she possibly hate me?
With the Rogers family taking care of the pests in the Venom Valley for me, I don't need to rely on Bailey and Cameron to help me seize power.
So, there's no need for me to give up this woman.
How can she harbor resentment toward me when we have a lifetime to spend together?
How can she... hate me?
With this thought in mind, he slowly moved his palm downward, coming to rest on her flat abdomen.
If we had a child, would she stop hating me?
That's right.
A child.
We desperately need a child.
“Sweetheart, you won't hate me for long because it's impossible to hate the father of your own child.”
Cracks began to form in the calmness of Blaze's eyes. She looked at him, full of disbelief, her lips trembling incessantly.
“W-What... What did you say? Child? What child?”
“Yes, as soon as you're over your period, we should start trying for a child immediately. Don't worry. I won't let them wander aimlessly like I did. I will train them to be an outstanding heir to the Venom Valley.”
Blaze began to struggle intensely.
“D*mn it, you can't do this! You can't.”
Kurt watched her in her frenzied state, unmoved. He reached out, gently patted her cheek, and slowly stood up.
“You don't have a say in this, you know. Take good care of yourself and work hard to give me a chubby little kid, haha.”
After saying that, he left the room with a hearty laugh.
Blaze shouted desperately from behind, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't bring back the man who had completely lost his sanity.
What should I do?
Who can tell me what I should do?
Bearing a child for that despicable man is something I don't even dare to think about.
I will surely descend into an endless hell, never to be reborn for all eternity.
Can I just drop dead?
Can I?
Despite that, it wasn't a bitter pill she could just swallow.
How could she take her last breath when the one who ruined her life hadn't yet met his end?
“Ah... Kurt, I'm going to skin you alive and tear you apart. Skin you alive and tear you apart.”
At the research base, Bailey was drinking with Cameron. After only a few sips, he vomited and was immediately taken to the infirmary.
Artemis had just arranged for his men to negotiate a deal with Kurt when he heard that Bailey had an accident. He immediately rushed to the infirmary.
When he arrived, the emergency room was surrounded by a crowd.
Catherine frowned and asked, “Did Bailey use to vomit when she drank alcohol?”
Artemis slightly narrowed his eyes.
He hardly ever let her touch alcohol.
If he knew that woman was off to ply Cameron with drinks, he would certainly stop her.
With her frail body, how many more times can she handle the strain?
Letting her drink alcohol—isn't that like intentionally watching her die?
“Whenever she's with me, she never drinks. So, I'm also not too sure.”
After speaking, he turned his head toward Juliana on the side and asked, “You know her better. Have you ever seen her throw up after drinking?”
Juliana quickly shook his head.
What kind of joke is this? Master used to be able to drink heaps without any problem.
Vomiting after drinking alcohol?
That doesn't apply to Master.
“Could it be... could it be that she's pregnant? This was exactly how I felt a few months ago when I was pregnant. A strong smell would trigger my nausea, and I would vomit.”
