CHAPTER 29
The bell rang came to a rest 15 minutes later.
All soldiers were gathered at the training field.
There were at least 500 people.
The majority of them were large and muscular men with broad shoulders and bulging biceps. There were a few female warriors as well, all of whom had fit body figures.
Standing at the front were G**s from the 5 largest packs in the world.
Those were * *Baron from Silver Blade Pack;
Ga**a Glen from Grey Claw Pack;
Ga**a Jeff from Black Water Pack;
G**a Steven from Crimson Peak Pack;
And at last, Gamma Aurora from Ever Moon Pack, who also happened to be the only person late to the gathering.
These 5 Gammas would be in charge of the united training starting today.
“Where the hell is Aurora now!”
Baron snapped, tabbing his index finger on his arm impatiently.
“The bell stopped running like 5 minutes ago. Does she have any sense of punctuality?”
Heard about his complaints, Glen let out a small chuckle, “What is the rush? It is only the first day of training. I think we should get off with an easy start.”
Glen was Alpha Jared’s G**a.
And like his Alpha, Glen possessed a pleasant, easy-going personality. He was tall and lanky, with long, black hair cascaded down his back.
Among these study men, Glen looked more like an artist, not a warrior.
But those who had tried his fighting skill would probably disagree.
“Are we going to a picnic? Or are we going to train?” Baron snarled in a nasty tone. “If she is one of my soldiers, she would be kicked out of the troops already! Women…I know I can’t count on them.”

Then he darted a contemptuous glare at Glen as well.
He didn’t like this s**y-looking man either.
Couldn’t believe he was going to the battlefield with these losers.
Just then, the gate to the training field opened up again and a group of people walked in.
At the front was Damien and Lance.
Behind their back…was a woman.
500 people’s eyes were focused on this petite figure at this very moment.

Aurora was dressed in a tank top and a short skirt today. All her hair was put up in a high ponytail, which dangled joyfully in the air.
She looked fit, powerful, and healthy, radiating with the beauty of confidence.
An attractive she-wolf just walked into the herd.
She naturally became the center of attention.
Glen blew a whistle while looking at Aurora appreciatively, “What a goddess. I can just train with her every day.”
“Oh yeah?” Baron gave him a sullen look, “Hold on to that thought till you see the nasty side of her in the wrestling
ring.”
The smile on Glen’s face remained in place, “Unlike somebody, I don’t get intimidated by strong women.”
Baron’s face became dark with anger.
Lance, Damien and Aurora walked up to them, and Baron immediately took this chance to vent his anger:
“Ga**a Aurora, you are late 10 minutes already. What kind of emergency could you possibly have to make 500 people wait for you?”
Aurora raised an eyebrow.
She reached into her pocket and pulled something out.
It was a silver brooch.
Aurora had one on her chest, and so did all other Ga**s, except for Baron.
“I believe that this belongs to you, **a Baron?”
Aurora stared at Baron, whose face was gradually turning red with awkwardness.

“All G**as are required to wear badges during the training. We made this clear in yesterday’s meeting. But looked like you still forgot about yours. I went to get it for you. You are welcome.”
Baron’s face was flaming red.
He couldn’t even lift a hand to take over the brooch in Aurora’s handl
Glen suddenly burst into loud laughter.
“What the hell are you laughing at!” Baron barked.
“What everyone else is laughing at-” Glen chuckled, his shoulders shaking violently. “-YOU. Apparently.”
Baron quickly gazed over to other people.
That was right.
There was a clear hint of smile on everyone’s face.
All the G**as, the two Alphas, even some soldiers in the front roll…They were all laughing at him!
“You-”
O
“You have been nagging about G**a Aurora being late. But turns out she was simply cleaning your mess,” Glen shrugged with a smile. “You have to laugh at the irony here.”
Baron burst into a loud howl. He wanted to hit Glen in the face with his iron fist, but Damien stopped him.
“That is enough,” Damien said giving Baron a cold look. “Let’s get to the business now.”
“So the training will last for about 2-3 months. We have agreed to train all of our soldiers separately from Monday to Friday, and all 5 packs together as a large group during the weekends. Do we have any questions about that?”
All Alphas shook their heads.
“We have 5 training fields in Silver Blade Pack.” Damien’s Beta Jasper took over and said, “The place that we are currently at is the largest, equipped with the best facility. And there are a few smaller and less fancy fields. The problem now is ”
He looked around the group.
-Who get the best training field?”
There was a short silence.
Chapter 29.
Then Baron was the first to respond, “Of course Silver Blade gets the best! This is our pack, our place. You guys only get to be here thanks to Alpha Damien’s generosity.”
The others didn’t seem all agree.
“You invited us here,” Ga***a Jeff rolled his eyes. “Is this how you treat your guest?”
“Without the best training field, I’d rather train my soldiers in my own pack,” G**a Steven said deeply.
Aurora clapped her hands and silenced all noises.
With all eyes on her, Aurora looked at everyone with a smile, “Clearly, we all want the best training field. To be absolutely fair, why don’t we fight for it?”
“Fight?” Glen asked, rubbing his chin, “How? Like actual fight?”
“No. We are brothers and sisters, shouldn’t raise our fists at each other. Let’s just pick a random sport project and have a competition. The winner gets the best. Pretty fair, right? The competition can take place every week. So everybody will get a chance to use the best training field.”
“It is a good idea!” Glen nodded with bright eyes.
Jeff and Steven were all on board.
Baron frowned and was about to say something. But Damien spoke up before he did:
“Then it is settled then. We will have a competition. It is also a great way to test our soldier’s ability.”
They eventually agreed upon a project-Hunting.
Hunting was a vital ability a werewolf should process.
This competition would last for an entire day.
Each pack would have a team of 3, made up by their Ga**a and two of their best soldiers.
These team would go deep into the back mountain and hunt in the forest. At the end of today, the team with the
most preys won.
With this settled, all G**a spread out to select their teammates.
Aurora picked Kaelan and Rivena.
Baron picked a large man named Bobbie and a tall female warrior named Maxie.
Glen, Jeff, and Steven all had their soldiers selected.

“So here is a map to the back mountain,” a man from Silver Blade Pack handed each team a piece of paper. only a general layout of the mountain. You will have to explore more details on your own. And here-”
He gave each team a gun.
“It is
“-is a signal gun. If you ran into danger, just point it at the sky and fire. We will send out a team to rescue you.
Baron let out a snort, “Pah, only weak puss will need this.”
He casually tossed the signal gun to his teammate Maxie.
“So are we all clear about this?” Damien asked.
Everyone nodded.
All these eyes were gleaming with excitement.
“Alright then-” Jasper raised his voice and announced loudly. “To the back mountain!”
500 people poured to the back mountain.
They all wanted to cheer for their own team and saw which pack was the ultimate winner.
Baron slowed down a few steps and grabbed the man who handed them the map.
“Did you do exactly what I asked?” he asked the man in a threatening tone.
The man shivered in fear, “Y-Yes G** Baron…I gave Ever Moon Pack the wrong map and it will lead them
directly to-
“Shh.” Baron shushed him. “Don’t say it out loud.”
A victory smile came onto his face.
That **h should have seen this coming when she messed with him.
Let the back mountain be Aurora’s grave.
