Reborn From Oblivion

Chapter 532

Nathan quickly apologized, "Okay, I get it. I won't get jealous over him anymore, I promise."

Nathalie, somewhat playfully, replied, "Once your leg's all better, we'll finally make our marriage official."

A mischievous sparkle appeared in Nathan's eyes.

After taking his medication, Nathan drifted off into a deep sleep. Nathalie snuggled up beside him, catching a little nap herself. But her peaceful moment was interrupted by her phone buzzing with messages. She swiped the screen and saw a text from Cameron: "Nathalie, if you want to know if I'm telling the truth, just take a trip to the Rowland estate."

Nathalie glanced at Nathan, gave him a gentle kiss on the forehead, and slipped out quietly.

At the door, Dominick and Ford stood like sentinels, stationed on either side.

Seeing Nathalie emerge, Dominick asked politely, "Where are you heading?"

Ford, a bit flustered, added, "If the boss wakes up and doesn't see you, he'll throw a fit."

Nathalie chuckled, "Relax, I'm just popping out to grab him some porridge. I'll be right back."

She wasn't fibbing. Nathan was still hungry, and she couldn't stand the thought of him missing a meal. She always made sure he was well taken care of.

Dominick and Ford exchanged a nervous glance but let her go.

Nathalie took a few steps and then turned back, "If he wakes up while I'm gone, have him call me."

"Absolutely," Dominick and Ford replied, relieved.

After Nathalie left, Dominick gently opened the hospital room door to find Nathan already sitting up, looking as grumpy as ever.

"What are you staring at?" Nathan grumbled, his mood as dark as his expression.

Dominick quickly came to the rescue, "Nathalie said you should call her if you miss her."

Nathan picked up his phone but, realizing it was way too soon since Nathalie left, tossed it aside, annoyed.

Dominick, noticing Nathan's stormy eyes, said with concern, "Boss, since Greta's reappearance, you've been struggling to sleep. This can't go on. Maybe I should just take care of..." Nathan shot him a fierce glare, cutting him off.

Nathan replied in a low voice, "She can't die. Let her suffer instead."noveldrama

Dominick continued, "But Cameron's buying her story. He's even gone to the Rowland estate to dig around. If he figures out your true identity..."

Nathan's eyes gleamed with a wicked plan, "Let's stir up some trouble for the Yan and Gu families. That'll keep them off my back."

The Rowland family had a five-year contract with Maple Company that used to make everyone in high society green with envy. But within months, their supply chain hit a snag.

"No problem," Ford chimed in, "I'll get on it right away."

Suppliers suddenly cut off raw

materials, and chip suppliers hiked their prices. The Rowland family, having landed a low bid, was now stuck either break the contract and pay hefty penalties or face

bankruptcy.

Gavin was fuming in his office, "Weren't those partner companies vetted by you? How did they suddenly run out of capacity? And the chips-why didn't you lock in a fixed five-year price?"

His assistant shifted the blame to Benjamin, "Chairman, those tasks were Mr. Nathan's responsibility. You told me to give him a shot, let him gain some experience. I thought he could handle such

Stretforward tasks. Who knew

he'd mess up so badly?"

Gavin hurled an ashtray across the room, roaring, "Are you saying my son is an idiot?"

The assistant replied calmly, "Chairman, I'm just stating the facts."
