STUCK
Adia sat opposite Sebastian enjoying the quiet ride, no one has spoken to the other since they left the hospital.
She has been thinking on how to start a conversation, because she had a favor to ask of him.
“Uhh hmm” she cleared her throat trying to start a conversation.
“Speak” Sebastian thankfully motioned for her to speak, making things a lot easier.
“Well thanks for earlier, Addison told me about the gifts, I am really grateful” Adia thanked Sebastian who didn’t say a word.
“Also I have a favor to ask of you” Adia continued but he still didn’t respond and she just took his silence, indicating for her to go on.
“Well I just wanted to ask for some time, like a week or so”
“For what?” Sebastian asked as he swept his gaze at her this was the first time he’s faced her since they left the hospital.
He stared blankly at the black haired hazel eyes just like his late Ex’s.
He wondered how Rowan could make such a huge mistake as anyone who knows Aisling would think she was the one.
But if you think a good look there was actually a difference between them,
While Aisling held a strong demeanor, this one looked petite and weak.
Also the eye colors, Aisling hazel eyes were lighter than hers, Adia eyes were darker and the hair also, Aisling had dark wavy hair but Adia hair was straight and silky and definitely longer.
And lastly she’s human while Aisling was a vampire, so this was enough proof that they were both different.
The only thing he would confess they have in common is their undeniable beauty.
He could remember the amount of emotions that piled up within him, that day at the hotel, he didn’t know what he was feeling at the moment but he was able to mask off any emotions and managed to keep a stoic face, if only he knew she would end up pregnant, he would have avoided it at all costs, but now the deed is all done.
All they had to do now was to make sure she was safe.
“To take care of Addison, I’ll just watch over her for a week to ensure she’s okay” Adia answered, biting her lips nervously hoping he would agree.
They’ve planned that she would move into his place today but she just wanted to spend a little time with Addison before she finally moves out.
“Ok” came the nonchalant reply as Sebastian brought his gaze back on the road.
‘that’s all, he agreed afterall’
“Thanks” Adia appreciated but was ignored as always.
Moments later, Adia heard Sebastian cursing as the car stopped abruptly.
“Damn it” He cursed as he stormed out of the car walking to the bonnet as he opened trying to see if he could fix the problem.
Adia sat inside the car as she watched him trying to fix the problem, she would have asked if he needed help but he would ignore her again but nonetheless she decided to ask.
“Do you need any help?” She offered as she got out of the car.
“Do yourself a favor by going back inside, I’ll take care of this” he replied as Adia smacked her lips sliding into the car.
‘At least he answered’ she thought as she watched him trying to fix the problem.
She watched as he wiped beads of sweat from his forehead while he continued working on the car, looking so damn hot and handsome.
After what seemed like ages, Sebastian finally gave up deciding to try another alternate and call for help.
He dialed a number only to find out there was no reception here.
“Damn you to hell” he cursed he flung his phone away while Adia just stared blankly at him, admiring how cute he looks when he swears.
“Stop staring” he said with a hint of warning in his voice, gritting his teeth in anger making Adia look away immediately.
Adia looked outside the window watching the quiet road, her house was located at the outskirts of the town, so people hardly took this particular route and it was kinda unsafe at night to crown it all her house was so still very far from here.
She bit her lower lip in regret, if she had just rejected the ride none of this would have happened. Now Sebastian is fucking angry, she just hoped he wouldn’t take his anger out on her, but it was her fault anyway, ‘whatever’ she thought, he volunteered to drop her anyway.
Sebastian stormed out of the car trying to find a network service all to no avail.
Adia checked the time in phone and discovered it was already past six, it would be very hard to find a taxi by this time.
“I suggest we continue walking till we find help, there’s no reception in this part of the city” Adia muttered slowly as she got out of the car as Sebastian shot her a deadly glare, but she cared less, this place was unsafe and it felt as if it would rain soon.
“I don’t think that would be a good ideas, this place looks deserted and it will be hard before we find a place, so stay put till a car passes by” Sebastian said as Adia obediently went into the car, this was the the first time Sebastian has said this much to her.
Few minutes later they were welcomed by a strong wind causing Sebastian to rush into the car.
“It’s gonna rain soon” he announced
‘i know, that’s the reason I suggested we left here earlier’ Adia said sarcastically in her head as she just nodded at him obediently.
“I’m sure we’ll find help soon” Sebastian confidently as Adia agreed with him, nodding her head.
Adia inhaled deeply as she rubbed her palms together, the rain drizzled making light sounds on the car as she was currently alone with Sebastian her so called husband who wouldn’t even spare her a glance and was busy with his phone trying to find something positive, but Adia knew it would be of no use, he’s never gonna find a good network service here.
But if she tried reasoning with him he would either ignore her or shut her up, so she decided to mind her business and wait till help comes.
And for some strange reason she was feeling so cold, she continuously rubbed her palms together inhaling deeply.
Sebastian noticed her movements as he finally turned to face her ‘is she cold?’ Sebastian asked no one in particular as he studied her.
