Chapter 12 I Want A Divorce
Chapter 12 I Want A Divorce
Cindy walked heavily and felt dizzy.
Cindy hurriedly held the wall with her hands.
After several consecutive days and one more night shift, she couldn't bear it any more.
She had no choice but to earn medical fees. She had to work overtime to maintain the basic expenses
of Jason in the hospital.
She took a deep breath and walked into the ward with a relaxed expression on her face.
"Jason, how are you feeling today?"
Jason was lying on the bed, pale and pitiful.
"Sister, you You are here?" His low voice was totally different from his energetic look a few days ago.
Jason struggled to sit up with his thin arms and tried several times, but failed.
Seeing this, Cindy hurried to hold him.
Jason raised his head and smiled.
"Sister, I really I am really useless." Perhaps it was because he had exerted all his strength just now
that a simple sentence made Jason gasp for breath.
Cindy pretended to be relaxed at the door and now she collapsed in an instant.
"I'm sorry, Jason. It's all my fault. I'm useless. I can't make money, so you don't have medicine. I'm
sorry. I'm so sorry."
Tears welled up in Cindy's eyes. She held Jason's shoulder and apologized repeatedly.
What Cindy felt in her hand was bones.
Jason had been tortured like this by the disease.
"I'm sorry..." Feeling guilty, Cindy choked with sobs.
"Sister."
The siblings looked at each other with tears in their eyes.
Other patients in the ward sighed when they saw this scene.
At this time, Amanda walked into the ward with a lunch box in her hand.
"Jason, come here. You can eat steamed buns with soup." She smiled kindly and put the lunch box in
front of Jason.
She turned around and saw Cindy in front of the bed. A layer of frost quickly covered Amanda's face.
"Cindy, come out."
She said in a cold tone, allowing no one to refuse.
Amanda's mother had always called her nickname, but now she spoke in a cold voice, which made
Cindy nervous.
"Mom." Cindy followed her quickly.
Several nurses passed by in the corridor and sneered at Cindy.
The more Amanda thought about it, the colder her face became.
"Cindy, when are you going to apologize to Horald? "
It was at noon. Few people passed by on the open lawn. Amanda stopped and turned around. She
threw the cold words at Cindy.
Cindy was stunned.
Apologize?
How could her mother ask her to apologize to Horald?.
"Mom..."
"Don't call me that. I don't care about the relationship between you and Mr. Qin. On your wedding night,
you betrayed Horald and stayed with others. Now, Horald is also fired from the hospital. It's all your
fault. You must apologize to Horald. The Cheng family is innocent. I'll blush for you."
With a livid face, Amanda interrupted.
"Cindy, you must go. Only when Horald forgives you can we pay for Jason's medical fees. If you don't
want to go, it's okay. As long as you can pay the hospital to continue to apply medicine to Jason."
What family innocence?
What purity?
In the end, it was all for money.
Well, after all, she was not her biological daughter.
Cindy sneered in her heart and gnawed at every cell in her body with resentment.
"I won't go. I... I didn't... I was wrong."
Cindy said word by word firmly.
With a darkened face, Amanda grabbed Cindy's arm.
"Jason is the descendant of the Cheng family, and you are his sister. It's your obligation to save him.
You have to apologize and ask for Horald's forgiveness, so that Jason can be cured."
The rumor about Cindy spread everywhere in the hospital these days. Amanda didn't dare to go out of
the ward for fear of being pointed at behind. She had been holding back her anger for a long time.
An accident made Cindy, who was still in her infancy, become a child without a mother. In fact, she and
Jason were half siblings.
Since she took Cindy back from the orphanage, the Cheng family had many bad luck.
In her heart, Amanda had already marked Cindy as a jinx.
If it weren't for the fact that Cindy had tried her best to support her family and Jason's medical fee after
her father's death, Cindy would have been driven out of the Cheng family.
How could Cindy not know what was on Amanda's mind? Cindy still insisted. "I will go to find Horald.
But it's not an apology. I want to divorce him."
Amanda's eyes widened.
Cindy's words were full of information, which made her a little confused.
"What? Divorce?! Cindy, are you okay? It's your fault to be with Mr. Qin. Now you have to give up all
your property if you divorce. You can't get a penny from Horald. You can't divorce him."
A moment later, Amanda was furious.
Since the medical fees were gone, Jason had no choice but to wait for death.
Someone passed by and heard the quarrel. He turned his head and looked over.
Furious, Amanda tried to hold back her anger.
"Cindy, I don't need to tell you about Jason's situation. If it goes on like this, you know better than me
what the consequences will be. You learned the major of medicine."
Cindy's weakness was grasped by Amanda.
"I will figure out a way to pay the medical fees. I'm Jason's sister. I will never leave him alone. But... "
Cindy stopped.
"But what?"
"It's none of your business between me and Horald."
Then she turned around.
She raised her head and tried to hold back the tears that were rushing out.
Cindy felt dizzy again and shook her body. Her back was straight, but her heart was bleeding.
If her biological mother was still alive, would it be different?
Horald, that bad man, could do such a disgusting thing. She must divorce him.
Standing still and looking at Cindy's cold back, Amanda was in a daze.
It was the first time that she had seen Cindy like this.
After leaving the hospital, Cindy called Horald out.
She didn't want to go back to her home in Garden of Fragrance.
The place Cindy met him was in the Center Garden.
As soon as they met, Cindy spoke out her purpose. "Horald, I want to divorce you."
Hearing this, Horald was surprised, but he didn't show any signs of surprise on his face.
Ethan's men had already forced him to sign the divorce agreement.
Isn't that man Cindy's boyfriend? She didn't know such a big thing.
"Okay, let's talk about the conditions." Horald sat down on the bench beside him.
The divorce agreement was signed, but there was no property division term on it.
"I want one million."
Cindy exposed her trump card without hesitation.
The current market price of the wedding house was close to three million. There were also two people's
savings and their own wage cards in the past few years. What Cindy wanted was only half of what she
deserved.
She just wanted to get the money as soon as possible to make up for the medical fees of Jason and
apply medicine for him.
Jason was waiting for help, but she didn't dare to waste any more time.
