Oops My Toyboy Is A Hidden Tycoon

My Toyboy 303

“Vicious? If Cynthia doesn’t die, both of us will!” Shirley was also filled with anger.

But what enraged her was that Luke turned out to be so useless. There might not be another chance to kill Cynthia after this.

Furthermore, now that Lilian was injured, the entire city would be in an uproar. There was no way Luke could escape. But he absolutely couldn’t be caught by the police.

Shirley’s eyes fell on the gun in Luke’s jacket pocket.

At that moment, Luke was still dreaming of his days in Damianus.

He said, “Even though I failed to kill Cynthia, I’m taking the fall as a murderer for you. Once I’m abroad, you’ll be able to continue with a clean slate. But if I stay here, you’ll be dragged into this mess, too.”

“Luke, what do you mean by that?” asked Shirley.

“I mean, you still owe me 16 million dollars you promised.” Luke didn’t care much beyond that.

He couldn’t stay in the country any longer, so Shirley would have to help him escape.

But he was worried that because he failed the mission, Shirley might back out. Without that 16 million dollars, what was the point of going to Damianus?

Shirley understood what he meant. She said coldly, “Don’t worry. Everything’s ready; I won’t cheat you out of a single cent. Luke’s face immediately lit up with joy. “Ms. Jones, you really do have a grand vision. I can’t believe I ever doubted you!”

The car sped along the overpass and stopped at Bright Moon, a rundown area with dilapidated buildings, nearly empty with only a few remaining residents.

But Luke knew this place well–he lived here.

Shirley get out of the car, and Luke quickly followed. “Why are we stopping here? Aren’t we going to the airport?”

Shirley replied, “I left everything I prepared for you in your house. You need to grab your passport and new ID, don’t you?” Luke’s face darkened. “Alright, let’s grab them quickly and leave. The cops will be on us any moment.”

Luke hurried inside, glancing around until his gaze landed on a large black suitcase.

As he moved toward it, Shirley walked over to the suitcase, pulling it behind her.

“Shirley, what are you doing?” Luke asked.

“Luke, this suitcase has everything you asked for–16 million dollars, a new identity, a passport, and a ticket. With these, you can live your dream life in paradise,” Shirley said.

Luke’s eyes gleamed with excitement; Damianus was every gambler’s paradise. “Give it to me, hurry up.”

But Shirley stepped back. “But I’m not giving this to you for free. Once you’re out of money, don’t think of coming back to me. This money is to sever any ties between us. From now on, we’re strangers.”

“Fine, fine. Whatever you say,” Luke replied hastily, eager to get his hands on the cash and leave before things got too risky. Shirley spoke up, “Give me the video, and from now on, we’re square.”

08:16 Mon,

Luke was momentarily confused. “Video, what video?”

Shirley’s face darkened. “Luke, don’t play dumb. You know, the video you took of me back then.”

Luke suddenly remembered. Over the years, he had often blackmailed her, claiming he had seen and recorded a video of her killing Dennis. And Shirley actually believed him.

Luke laughed loudly. “Video? There was never any video. Don’t worry, I didn’t record it.”

Shirley was stunned, disbelief written all over her face. “What? You’re telling me there was no video?”

Luke moved closer, snatching the suitcase from her. “I was just curious and went to take a look, only to see you stabbing your father. I was too shocked to even think about recording. I was just bluffing the whole time.”

With a smug look on his face, he said, “You’re way too easy to fool. You believe anything I say.”

Shirley was trembling with anger. “You didn’t even have a video, and you threatened me for so long!”

If she had known earlier, she wouldn’t have feared Luke. Even if he accused her of murder, she wouldn’t have cared; after all, Rachel had already taken the fall for her. Besides, who would really believe a punk like him?

Ignoring Shirley’s anger, Luke opened the suitcase to pull out the passport and the ticket, wanting to take a look at what 16 million dollars in cash looked like.

But the moment he opened the suitcase, he was stunned. Inside was just a pile of funeral money. There was no ID card, no passport, and no ticket.

Luke was stunned, then burst into a furious rage. He picked up the suitcase and dropped it heavily in front of Shirley.

He roared at Shirley like a raging lion, “You witch, tell me, what is this?!”

For a moment, Luke realized he had been played. She hadn’t prepared any money or a new identity for him.

Shirley had already calmed down, suppressing her anger. There was even a slight smile on her face.

“Where’s the money? Tell me, where’s the cash?” Luke asked.

Shirley laughed. “Isn’t the money all in there?”

Luke’s eyes widened with fury. “I’m talking about dollars, not funeral money! Shirley, are you messing with me?”

Shirley laughed out loud. “Luke, You think 16 million dollars in cash would be easy to carry around? Do you know that you need to declare just 5,000 dollars at customs when you’re leaving the country?

“You’ve never even been abroad, have you? Did you really think you could take that much money out of the country? You’re unbelievably naive and foolish.

“The ID card and passport I showed you was just a refined image that cost me 6 dollars. Did you really think that just because I said we’re in this together, I’d actually help you? You’re just dreaming.”

Luke was beyond furious and ready to kill her, but he held back.

Gritting his teeth, he hissed, “Shirley, if you won’t help me, we’ll go down together. I get caught, and you go down with me.”

But Shirley looked fearless. “You have no evidence. I’ll tell the police you’re framing me. I might even charge you with defamation.”

Luke’s last bit of composure snapped. He lunged at Shirley, screaming, “You witch, I’ll kill you!”

But in that instant, Shirley pulled out a gun from her coat pocket and fired at Luke’s head.

Luke’s body froze in mid–air. His eyes opened wide, staring directly at Shirley, agony written all over his face.

Before he could react, he collapsed like a mountain falling, crashing loudly onto the ground.
