Chapter 8
Chapter 8 Fragile Stephanie
Stephanie had been in poor health since she was a kid, so Lawson didn't overthink too much. He took a look at their parents, who were walking ahead and making small talk, and asked, "Should we go to the hospital?" Stephanie lied. She didn't feel sick. She grabbed Lawson's arm and faltered, "No need, Lawson. It's always like this after I stay in one room for too long. I just need some fresh air, and I will be fine."

Stephanie stared at his handsome face and felt relaxed. She bashfully held his hand and crooned, "I know."
Then Stephanie seemed to reme: ber something and said with faked sympathy, "I saw my sister just now. Why was she at Watershed Restaurant?

Hearing it, Lawson knitted his brows. He looked back at Watershed Restaurant, uttering carelessly, "Probably."

She didn't take the money that my father gave her and accused us of chasing her away! Between you and me...Lawson...do you think I'm too greedy? Shouldn't I vie with my sister for you?"

Stephanie noticed that Lawson was indifferent when he spoke about Myrna and felt much at ease.
She was also guessing the reason that Myrna came to Watershed Restaurant.

Except for Myrna, Lawson also saw other people.
When Luther, who was walking in the lead, heard the cry, he paused and looked over at Lawson.
Oliva was held by her daughter. When she saw Harold, she suddenly stopped chatting with Amy.
Oliva instructed her daughter to walk her to Harold and greeted Harold with a smile, "Mr. Payne, why are you in Melcester?"
Mr. Payne?
The Starks were dumbfounded!
