Chapter 47

“The worst–case scenario would be us losing to the Zimmer family and the Zimmer family working together with other forces to destroy us. Then, our family business will be ruined!”

Clara’s words shocked all of them.

“It can’t be that bad, right? The Wyatt family is stronger than the Zimmer family!” Elisa retorted.

“You’re forgetting that Klein Zimmer was a powerful person when he was young, and he’s friends with plenty of outstanding people in all fields.” Clara frowned. “Also, we offended plenty of famous physicians last time. Some of them are from powerful backgrounds and will happily kick us when we’re down.”

The Wyatt sisters‘ faces turned sour.

By the looks of it, the Wyatt family was forced into a dead end.

“Should we make use of the Wyatt family’s secret force?” Delia suddenly asked.

Amara raised her eyebrow but shook her head without hesitation. She rejected the idea. “We’re not forced. to the point where we need to use that just yet. I’ll talk to the Zimmer family again.”

Amara called the Zimmer family and set her phone on loudspeaker.

“Please put me through to Mr. Klein.”

Soon, Klein’s cold voice came through the phone. “I have nothing to say to you, Amara. Just sit tight and watch as we drag you down to the dumps with us!”

“Mr. Klein, I know that you’re very angry. You can’t just let your family’s business go to ruin overnight, not ‘when it has been around for a century. It’ll be a huge waste,” Amara said. “I’m willing to compromise. No matter who hurt Mr. Jack, I will offer you two hundred million dollars as compensation as long as you stop with this.”

“Ha!” Klein chuckled coldly. “Even if you offer me one billion dollars, I’m not going to stop! If that person doesn’t tell me to stop, I’m going to make sure your family is thrown out of Rivenesco!”

The sisters were stunned.

“Mr. Klein, who is the person you’re talking about?”

“Naturally, he’s the one you’ve been neglecting…” The name was on the tip of Klein’s tongue, but he held back. It was as if he was afraid.

Then, he hung up.

The sisters looked at each other.

Who was the person?

If he could order the Zimmer family around, he was definitely no ordinary man.

“Who did we offend? Is it one of the physicians‘ family?” Delia asked.

“Could he be talking about Dustin?” Clara suddenly asked.

1.2

“Dustin? Hah!” The others laughed disdainfully.

“He’s just a piece of trash! How can he possibly control the Zimmer family? What a joke! He should consider himself lucky that the Zimmer family didn’t kill him!” Elisa said mockingly.

“It might be anyone, except him! Remember, he’s just a dog we no longer want!” Amara said coldly.

Clara shut her mouth and did not say anything else.

“It’s just a loss of one hundred million dollars, I can earn that money back just by investing in some stocks,” Amara said coolly.

The sisters‘ eyes lit up.

The stocks Amara bought had fallen in value before.

She was famous in Rivenesco for her impeccable judgment.

Some even called her Stock Market Queen of Rivenesco.

“Where’s the newspaper I usually read?” Amara asked,

In the past, she often read a specific business newspaper and always got some insights from it.

In the beginning, she bought some stocks of the companies that appeared in the papers and earned some money from them. Later on, all the stocks she bought rose in value. She always felt like it was a dream when that happened.

Amara could not do without the business newspaper.

“Dustin was the one who always brought you the papers before…” Clara said cautiously.

“What?” Amara scowled.
