Chapter 44

“What kind of a status must one have to command a sovereign grade fighter?” Klein’s face turned solemn. “All those who can command sovereign grade fighters are incredibly powerful people who stand at the top of the world. With one word, they can change the fates of nations!

“I also remember seeing something on Drake.” Klein looked pensive. “If I’m correct, Dustin Fox is the ruler of the underground. He’s the King of Hades!”

That one sentence made everyone’s faces turn pale. All of them were shocked.

The King of Hades was a terrifying person.

With his own power alone, he killed the former ruler of the underground and destroyed the Shadow Dynasty. Then, he created Hell Hall. After that, in just a few years, he became the new ruler of the underground.

Over the years, Hell Hall killed plenty of people, and they struck fear in everyone’s hearts.

The King of Hades’s name spread through the world, and he gained a reputation for being fearsome and formidable.

When they heard that Dustin was the King of Hades, the Zimmer family members felt as though their hearts were in their throats.

It was only then that they understood the kind of pressure Klein had felt.

“That guy… is the King of Hades?” Jack mumbled. His face turned pale, and he could practically feel his soul leaving his body from fright.

He had asked the King of Hades to kneel to him…

The King of Hades had been kind enough not to kill him.

Jack finally understood: Klein had just saved his life.

“The Langley family has the King of Hades’s protection? Amara, you got me into so much trouble!” Jack roared.

“Amara? What’s going on with you?” Klein asked with a frown.

The Zimmer family members told Klein about how they terminated the contract.

“You idiots! All of you, b*stards!” Klein flew into a rage and was massively disappointed.

So, they were the ones who had been in the wrong from the start,

“Have you fed your brain cells to the dogs?! How could you let one woman set you up like this?!” Klein’s chest heaved in rage:

No one dared to answer.

“Amara Wyatt, how dare you…” Klein’s eyes burned with anger.

“Mr. Klein, Ms. Amara Wyatt had sent gifts, and she hopes for Mr. Jack’s speedy recovery.” At that moment, someone came in.

“Throw them out!” Klein said coldly.

Meanwhile, Amara was listening to a servant’s report back at home.

She already knew about Klein’s rage.

“Good. The angrier he is, the better.” Amara was satisfied.

All she needed to do was wait for the Zimmer family to fight against Dustin and reap the benefits.

“Dustin went to the Zimmer family? He just marched to his own grave. Very good!” Amara sneered when she received another report of the situation. “Considering Klein’s hot–tempered nature, even if Dustin doesn’t die from the encounter, he’d still have his limbs broken”

But soon, she received bad news.

“Dustin went out unscathed? How can that be?” She could not believe it.

“Ms. Amara, there’s another piece of bad news!”

A servant was carried in.

When she saw that the servant was the same one she had sent to ask after Jack with gifts, Amara frowned in puzzlement.

She had sent this servant to deliver gifts, so why was he so badly injured?

“What happened?” she asked as she went over to him.

“”Ms. Amara, I was beaten up without even a chance to speak. I wasn’t even given a chance to defend myself. They didn’t even take any of our gifts,” the servant said in pain on the floor.

Amara frowned. “Tell me everything.”

The servant then told her everything that had happened, and Amara was even more puzzled.

“What went wrong exactly?” She could not understand

“Ms. Amara, Mr. Klein asked me to pass you a message.”

“What is it?”

“We’ll settle this properly with you later.”

Amara froze.
