Chapter 132 Using All My Luck to Meet You
Stella returned after buying the food and saw Mia tentatively looking after Jericho.
She smiled gently when she noticed him and said a few words to Mia before leaving the hospital with
Noah.
On the way she chirped happily to Noah. Finally, the weight was lifted from her heart. Even though Mia
hadn't ended up with Aiden the way she'd expected, as long as Mia made up her mind, she would
definitely support her to the end!
"Darling," Stella smiled sweetly. "I think you will see Jericho more often in the future. Just let go of the
past and try to get on well with him!"
"Yes." In fact, he didn't hold a grudge against Jericho in the past.
Noah focused his gaze on her, feeling complicated. He suddenly stopped.
Since she was in a good mood at the moment, how about telling her the truth? She might be able to
accept it...
"But where do I even start?" Noah thought.
Noah took a deep breath and looked into Stella's eyes.
"Is something wrong, darling?"
He hesitated for a moment, then slowly said, "I need to tell you something."
At the same time, Stella grinned brightly as she intertwined her fingers with his. "What a coincidence, I
have something to tell you too!"
"Huh?" His eyes flickered. "What is it?"
"I actually did a checkup at Aiden's ward..."
Noah, shocked by her comments, asked worriedly. "What's wrong? Are you uncomfortable?"
Stella lowered her head and pursed her lips, her face all flushed. Then she replied in a soft tone, "My...
my period is not coming this month."
Noah froze, unable to believe what he had heard. His mouth opened to say something, but immediately
closed again, as if searching for the right words.
"What... what did you say?" He asked, his voice shaking. "Do you mean... you're pregnant?"
"Well, I don't know yet." Stella looked at him with a smile. "The test results aren't in yet! Let's just wait
and see."
At that moment, Noah completely forgot what he was going to say. A huge wave of happiness filled his
mind. His mind went blank and he suddenly bent down and took Stella in his arms.
"Darling, let me down first!"
Although Stella was happy too, she was still embarrassed about being out in the open. People were
watching them.
Noah, on the other hand, was making a complete fool of himself, too excited. After Stella's pleading, he
reluctantly put her down.
He immediately crouched down, touched her flat stomach and put his ears to it.
"Honey, I think I heard the baby calling me daddy."
Stella laughed at his silly reaction.
"Is it a boy or a girl?"
"Didn't I tell you that the test results aren't out yet? I'm not even sure if I'm really pregnant..."
"Of course, it must be!"
"..."
"Honey, are you having twins?"
Stella stifled a laugh as she asked, "Isn't one enough?"
"Of course not!" replied Noah in a serious tone. He had planned that it would be best to have two sons
and two daughters so that they would have each other's company.
But suddenly he frowned, turned to Stella and asked in a low voice. "Honey, does it hurt to give birth to
a baby?"
"Well, it should. People say that a woman trades her life for giving birth to a baby!"
"But actually I don't think it's that serious." She laughed, "Aren't there women who are fine after giving
birth?"
Noah darkened his expression and furrowed his eyebrows.
If giving birth was too painful, he didn't want Stella to suffer that pain. If he really had to choose
between his child and Stella, he would rather have no heir than Stella's life.
"Darling, what are you thinking?"
Noah pursed his lips and hugged her gently in his arms.
"I was wondering...if I used up all my luck to meet you."
......
Oliver stood in front of Noah and stared at him.
Noah just glanced at him, ignoring his gaze as he continued to learn about pregnancy and childcare on
his phone.
In the last two days, he had read all the popular pregnancy posts and subscribed to various channels to
learn about pregnancy and childcare.
He was definitely putting in more effort than he was studying at Wharton.
"Caleb. Do you think Noah is still sane?" asked Oliver, gesturing with his head.
Caleb gave him an annoyed look.
"Look at his smile," Oliver interjected, "do you realise that he has been smiling all the time since this
afternoon?"
"Since he's going to be a father, isn't it normal that he's learning about childcare?"
"No... what I mean is, haven't the results come in yet? Why is he so excited?"
"Even if the results aren't out yet, I bet she must be pregnant."
Caleb chuckled as he continued, "Anyway, it's time for you to prepare some presents for him!"
"I'm actually worried." Oliver rubbed his chin. "The Martinez family must have gone crazy if Noah
brought Stella back with his child."
Listening to his words, Caleb darkened his gaze.
"I'll get Stella back anyway." Noah, who had been silent, interrupted. "No matter what they think, Stella
will always be my wife."
Oliver cackled awkwardly at his statement. He suddenly remembered that 'someone' had said that his
relationship with Miss Taylor wouldn't work out.
"What are you laughing at?" asked Noah as he shot Oliver a deadly look. Oliver stopped laughing
immediately.
"Right now our focus should be on Liam, not the Martinez family." Noah said in a serious tone. "Liam is
still alive and he's under Zander's control."
"So I have to change the name on the marriage certificate to mine before they do anything!"
This was the only way he could protect Stella and his child.
"Noah, are you sure about this?" Caleb was still a little worried. "If you simply get married, your
grandfather will be furious, and then Uncle Christopher will surely take the opportunity to cause a
ruckus."
"If I decide to give up Stella just because I'm afraid of Grandpa's wrath," he declared, "I won't be worthy
of being her man!"
