Chapter 715: Ella Bailey Comes Knocking
Ella Bailey took several deep breaths, and with a slap, she hit Peter Crispin on the back of his head.
"Go run laps around the entire institute! And you're in charge of cleaning the institute for the next two months!"
"And you!"
She pointed at Wraith.
The man, decades her senior, jumped up as if he had seen a ghost and sprinted away.
"No need for your orders, I'm off!"
He fled, his face ashen as he passed by the others.
Peter Crispin picked himself up from the ground.
"What a coward. Serena is beautiful and lovely, what is there to be scared of?!"
His voice was not loud, but the institute was so quiet at the moment.
So quiet that one could hear an ant walking by. At the sound of Peter Crispin's voice, Hayden froze for a moment, glanced at Tina's expression, and swallowed.
"Is it possible that he's actually afraid of you?"
Do you have any self-awareness at all?
Is your skin made of city walls?
Meanwhile, Jared had already walked over to Tina.
"Sweetheart, don't talk to someone whose aesthetics are off. Let's go."
"Are you sure this is where Tina lives?"
On the other side, en route to Farrell Manor.
Ella Bailey sat in the car, observing the distant building.
The scale and setting were comparable to the top hidden families; Tina was said to be the granddaughter-in-law of the manor's owner.
No wonder she was so bold that day.
The bodyguard pointed to the distant Farrell family estate, "Over there is Miss Reed's in-laws', and that way leads to Miss Reed and her husband's matrimonial home. This is their usual route."
"I didn't expect her to be married so young."
Ella Bailey didn't know whether she felt sour or otherwise, she had initially wanted to get out of the car for a walk, but now her good mood had completely vanished.
The two had been waiting for what felt like ages, and just as Ella Bailey was growing impatient for the tenth time, a car finally appeared in the distance.
She no longer felt enthusiastic, lifting her finger to ask, "Whose car is that?"
The bodyguard, having previously investigated Jared's vehicle, squinted to confirm and recognized it as a Farrell family car, a hint of pleasure crossing his otherwise stoic face. He opened the car door.
"Miss, it's them."
"They're here?!"
Ella Bailey, who had been dozing off, suddenly became alert and stepped out of the car as Jared pulled up.
"It's her."
Through the windshield, Tina immediately recognized Ella Bailey.
Jared looked at the familiar face and said, "You know her?"
Tina glanced at him and nodded, "That's Ella Bailey, the one I told you about!"
While they spoke, Ella Bailey had already approached the car.
"Miss Reed, kindly step out, we need to talk."
Tina rolled down the window and spoke calmly, "Let's talk here, we are in a hurry."
"You, woman, have no manners at all?!"
She glanced at Jared, indignant.
"Aren't you Mrs. Farrell now? Didn't Logan teach you anything about propriety and shame?"
Tina, leaning on the car window, replied, "And how is that your concern?"
"How is it not? My mother was..."
"Miss! We have important matters to attend to."
That was close, she almost...
Ella Bailey looked at Woods appreciatively; if it weren't for him, she would have been caught up in Tina's words.
She steadied herself, about to speak again.
Then she heard Jared's voice, cold as ice, "Miss Bailey, don't block the way if there's nothing important." "Who said I'm alright?!"
Ella Bailey immediately turned to Jared, "Miss Reed, I'm asking you, where have you hidden Elsa?!"
Tina looked at her quizzically, "Why should I tell you?"
Ella Bailey choked up, then placed her hands on her hips, "Simply because I am a daughter of the Bailey family! Tina, don't think that just because you're affiliated with the Farrell family I wouldn't dare touch you. You're just a daughter of a perfume company's CEO. I'm lowering myself even talking to you!"
The girl crossed her arms and looked down scornfully, "I'd advise you to hurry up and hand over Elsa! Are you not afraid that by associating with such a calamitous star, you'll bring disaster upon the Farrell family?!"
"Are you questioning the Farrell family's ability to protect someone?"
Meanwhile, Jared looked at the face that resembled his aunt's by eighty percent, his deep eyes swirling with indescribable emotions. There was a longing for his aunt, yet his hatred for the Bailey family grew even more intense! This girl, even if she was his aunt's child, had been corrupted by the Bailey family!
The man narrowed his eyes. As Ella Bailey met his heavy gaze, she felt like she was being preyed upon by a hawk, sending chills down her spine, "How can you be like this?! Don't be ungrateful, I'm doing this for your own good. That kind of woman, whoever hosts her will surely suffer great misfortune!"
"Uncle, let's go."

A cryptic light flashed in Tina's eyes.
She stared directly into Ella Bailey's eyes and slowly rolled up the car window, "Pretend for too long, and the mask won't come off." "Damn it! Tina, Tina, stop!"
Damn Tina, completely disregarding her wellbeing, almost breaking her hand!
She clutched her throbbing hand, watching as Jared sped away, leaving her swallowing his exhaust, unable to unleash her anger. "I'm sure Elsa is with her, now I don't have to watch over them anymore!"
Ella Bailey cursed as she got into her car, took one last deep look in the direction of the Farrell family, then suddenly had an idea. "Let's go back, I know who to involve now."
Apartment.
Tina was making a call, "Get some people to check Ella Bailey's biological tissue."
Tina hung up the phone just as Jared emerged from the bathroom.
Steam rose off his body as he sat down next to her, toweling his hair, "Actually, no need to check. Ella Bailey's face is eighty percent like my aunt's." Tina picked up a hair dryer for him, "Still, we need to confirm. If she really is my aunt's daughter, then her actions today are quite interesting." The hair dryer hummed in the room.
Her voice sounded distant to Jared's ears.
He paused, turned to look at Tina's meaningful smile.
A spark of realization, "It's always you, Tina. Without you, my mind would have been clouded with hatred, unable to understand the truth." Jared tossed the hair dryer onto the nightstand and moved closer to Tina.
The faint scent of her body lotion wafted to him, his eyes trailing down to her soft, fair skin.
Jared breathed in her scent, a deep satisfaction welling up inside him. His dark eyes grew intense, desire slowly pooling within.
Tina, her cheeks pink, teased, "They say love makes you stupid, Uncle, and you've just proved it to me."
