According to Samarra, Zachary has been locked in the study room for two weeks. Particularly on weekends. Just like today, when he awoke earlier on Saturday, he was no longer beside her. She caught him in the study room, sitting with his back to the laptop.
“Cadden,” Samarra said as she entered the study room, her two hands holding a tray because she had made him a sandwich in case he became hungry. Zachary immediately looked up, stood up to pick up the tray of food she was carrying and placed it on the table before returning his gaze to her.
“Did you make it for me?”
As Zachary kissed her forehead, she nodded and closed her eyes. He also returned her hug.
“Thank you very much, love.”
Zachary embraced her and led her to the swivel chair.
“I’m heavy, Cadden.”
He restrained her while laying her down and accompanied her to the chair. In the order of their sitting, she was like a child on his father’s lap. Regardless of how close their faces were, Samarra wrapped her arms around his neck.
If anything had changed in their relationship with Zachary, it was their growing closeness. She is no longer embarrassed to embrace him as she was previously.
“When will you start calling me, love?”
Samarra was swallowed up when Zachary pressed her lips together due to her sudden turn. As they met, she noticed a mischievous smile on his lips.
“Love?”
When Zachary spoke, Samarra quickly closed her mouth without removing his from the application to her lips.
“Love?”
Samarra moved her head slightly to the side to make more space for the two of them and Zachary.
“Hmm.”
“I’m wondering when you’ll start calling me love?”
“Love?”
“Are you sure, love? Don’t you want that endearment? What do you desire? Is it love or mine? I believe mine is superior to love. “What are your thoughts?”
Even though Zachary had a mischievous smile and his eyes were looking at her thoughtfully, Samarra couldn’t help but look at him.
“Hmmm… Is it essential?”
“We should have a pet name, yes.” Zachary’s remark made Samarra frown.
“What’s your pet’s name?”
“Pet name, yes. Endearment expressions like love, honey, mine, and so on.” She noticed Zachary’s puzzled expression, but he still answered her question.
She had never had a boyfriend, so she was unaware of its need. Zachary called her that because she thought he was teasing her. Perhaps he is called that because he misses his girlfriend.
“Love?”
When Samarra flicked in front of Zachary, he seemed to be perplexed by her silence.
“Huh?!”
“It doesn’t matter if you don’t want to, and I don’t want you to force it. if you don’t like it.”
When she saw his handsome husband’s annoyance, she smiled.
Husband? It’s comforting to hear the word “husband.”
“Love,” Samarra hesitantly whispered in Zachary’s ear. She noticed his restrained smile and his thoughtful gaze.
“What exactly did you say?”
“Hmm… You’ve heard it before; I’m not going to repeat it.”
When she didn’t repeat what he wanted to hear from her, Zachary’s restrained smile turned to laughter.
“Just repeat it; I’d like to hear it again,” Zachary said, pinching her nose and squeezing her neck. A few minutes passed before Samarra’s attention was diverted by the laptop in front of her.
“Did you design it?”
“Hmm.”
“If you designed this car, Love?” she inquired.
Zachary appeared to awaken and quickly took the laptop in front of her.
“Hey!” she exclaimed, grabbing Zachary’s hand.
“Why would you take it? I’m even looking.”
“It doesn’t matter as much.”
Samarra frowned at Zachary’s response, noting how he avoided his gaze.
“What is the issue? It’s so lovely,” she exclaimed as she adjusted her seat.
“Is it lovely?” Zachary hesitantly asked her and reluctantly arranged for her to sit on his lap.
“But not this one.”
After she pointed to the car’s hood, Zachary immediately brought the laptop to them.
“Hmm,”
“I think you should change the color to neon because it’s a sports car. It would be more enticing. Each car is distinct in terms of style and color. And look at this one; the color black was fine, but it’s quite common. I believe silver is the way to go.”
Zachary agreed with what Samarra said. That’s what he believes, but he’s not sure because he’s not very good at designing cars.
“Do you think?”
Samarra nodded, her gaze drawn to Zachary’s other design. Samarra thinks everything is lovely.
It’s just the wrong color scheme.
“Would you like to customize the vehicles?”
Zachary gave her a hesitant smile before nodding.
“Wait for a second, love. That’s brilliant marketing. You modify vehicles and then sell them in large amounts. Many people want to customize or personalize their cars, and this industry is well-known in other countries.”
“Do you think I can do it?”
“Without a doubt. And, besides, I’m present. I will assist and advise you.”
Zachary sighed as if pondering something.
“What exactly are you thinking?”
Zachary scratched his neck and paused before smiling at him.
“I’m just wondering where I’ll get the money from. That type of vehicle is pricey.”
Samarra kissed Zachary on the cheek. He couldn’t help but wonder what she was thinking.
“I can do that for you.”
Zachary shook his head and kissed her on the cheek.
“That’s not a good idea, love; I’ve never met your parents in person, and if you do that, I might misinterpret them.”
Samarra gave Zachary a thoughtful nod. She realized it was because of what Xander said.
“Hmm… I don’t think you need to spend money on that business because you’re just starting.”
Zachary smiled as he looked her in the eyes.
“So, what is your recommendation?”
“We need to put it on the internet.”
At Samarra’s suggestion, Zachary fell silent.
“And?”
“After you’ve secured a client, you’ll co-customize their vehicle. Of course, they must pay 50% DP and another 50% when the vehicle is returned. You will not have to spend any money. When you have enough money, you can start buying and customizing sports cars to make more money.”
Surprisingly, Zachary did nothing but stare at what Samarra said.
“Do you think I’ll be able to get a client?”
“Of course, you thought there was none.”
“It’s because I’m new.”
“Hey, your design of yourself is one-of-a-kind. You research color combinations.” Zachary looked at her with interest as she noticed the corners of his eyes glistening.
“I don’t know what I’m going to do without you, love.”
Samarra smiled and tightly hugged Zachary.
“I will always be there for you.”
When Zachary touches her cheeks and presses their foreheads together, she closes her eyes.
“Thank you very much, love.”
