I love you till the end, Mr. Buenavista

DON’T YOU DARE

When Samarra turned around, she was sobbing uncontrollably. She climbed the stairs. Maybe She and Zachary aren’t meant to be together. Ezekiel… is for Gab, while Zachary is for Claudel.

And what about her?

Maybe she’ll go back to Australia now. She was unsuccessful. She wasn’t sure if she’d have to face her parents and family. Because she was the only girl in her clan who had experienced a failed marriage, no matter how good she was at business, she couldn’t do it in her personal life. Perhaps this is what fate has planned for her. Someone to meet and be with for the latter will show that she will not get everything she wants.

There was a handover in front of her before she took the first step. She had no idea what was going on. She was crying like a baby and hugging back.

Zachary’s hand caressing her back caused her to cry. She felt a tender kiss on her forehead.

“Why are you so upset? Hmm.”

Zachary even raised her face to wipe away the tears that wouldn’t stop falling. She didn’t care what she looked like at the time.

What matters is that she lets go of all her resentment.

“I’m curious, Ara. Why are you so upset?” Zachary drew back slightly and tried to catch her gaze.

She sniffed and tried hard not to cry. She had only ever cried like this in her entire life.

“Because… ”

“Because? What?”

Because of the intensity of her tears, Samarra found it challenging to speak. She couldn’t meet Zachary’s gaze.

“Were you hurt when you saw me with others?”

When Zachary realized what she was going to say, he gently touched her face and kissed her eye without pausing the tears before hugging her again.

“If you’re angry, express it. If you’re happy, don’t hide it. Say something if you don’t like it. Please, Ara, pay attention to what I’m saying.” Zachary slowly raised her chin to meet their gaze.

“I won’t understand you unless you tell me how you feel. How can we be strong if you keep pushing me away? Do you realize how painful it is to hear you say that I will continue my relationship with Claudel as long as I don’t interfere with you? Do you realize how painful it is to see and know that Ezekiel is the one you love, that he was the first person you met, but I will accept no matter how much it hurts if you give me a chance to enter your life?”

Zachary’s deep breathing was audible to her. They appear to be having difficulties with him.

“Ara, I know I’m not the man in your heart right now, but as your husband, I’m hopeful. You will stand up for me and come to love me. We go to great lengths for our future family. It’s unfair that you don’t even ask me because you decide for the both of us. We’re married, Ara. All of our life decisions are dependent on the two of us. Do you get what I’m saying?”

Samarra burst into tears when she heard what she had heard.

“I apologize.”

As Zachary hugged Samarra tightly, she burst into tears. Samarra didn’t want to show that she was affected by Claudel’s presence because she didn’t realize she was hurting Zachary. She reasoned that if she let him go, he’d be happier.

“You are forgiven, love. So, you should make it up to me because I haven’t slept well in a few days. After all, I’m wondering what’s wrong with me. Why are you so quick to dismiss me?” He kissed her sweetly on the lips, which he seemed to enjoy.

“That sounded like a good idea to me. And I thought you wanted to be with Claudel.” She nodded to confess.

“Love.”

She raised her face to meet Zachary’s gaze, his hand gripping both of her cheeks. As she closed her eyes, she could smell his sweet breath.

“Sometimes, if you want to get out of our marriage. I hope you remember our first meeting.”

She stumbled over to look at Zachary because she didn’t understand what he was saying.

“Because we had to marry when we first met. Why we’re all here today, and who I am now. Please… promise me. Even if you don’t like me, I’ll look after it. I’ll make you fall for me.”

Zachary laughed before kissing her again.

“Promise.”

She even raised her right hand to prove her promise.

Zachary grabbed her two hands and brought them to his chest. She could feel his heartbeat.

“Can you feel it?”

As Zachary pressed their brows together, Samarra nodded and swallowed.

“Never, ever give up on me. Ara, I’ll always love you.”

I love you. When Zachary told her only the last word of her, she remembered.

“Y-yo-you… love me?” She still stammered the question and couldn’t believe what Zachary had told her.

“Yes, love. I love you, Mrs. Buenavista.”

Zachary took her hand and brought it to his mouth to give her a sweet kiss.

Samarra even blinked her blurry eyes because of the automatic fall of her tears. Her heart was pounding of what she heart. She didn’t expect her husband’s confession. She loves her husband.

“I love you till the end, Mr. Buenavista.”

Zachary’s eyes were gleaming from both corners, and he bit his lip before looking up.

“Thank God!”

Before he turned his gaze, she heard a faint whisper from Zachary.

“Could you repeat what you said?”

She smiled as if he couldn’t believe what she said. She squatted down and wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him.

“I love you… I love you…. I love you till the end, Mr. Buenavista. I do-”

She didn’t finish what she was saying when he grabbed her lips. When Zachary himself stopped after that moment, Samarra thought it would never end. He fixed his gaze on her. Those loving eyes that only see her.
