Chapter 4 My Little Bear God
In the end, I won; he couldn’t answer my question.
I pretended to sleep in the back seat all the way, but in reality, I was squinting at the passing streetlights.
The car stopped steadily in the underground parking lot.
I didn’t want to get out of the car and pretended to still be asleep.
Ashburn glanced at me through the rearview mirror and got out of the car quietly.
I sighed and finally got out of the car, heading upstairs.
In the middle of the night, I was awakened by the sound of the password locks, but I didn’t get up to see who it was.

Suddenly, it felt like I had gone back to before I turned eighteen.
I felt Ashburn’s hand gently caressing my face, tender and warm, like my teddy bear.
I just let my eyes tremble lightly, but it startled him, and he quickly withdrew his hand, holding his breath, afraid of being caught by me.

After confirming that I was still asleep, he became bolder.
With my eyes closed, I felt dry lips covering mine.
The next morning, when I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was that teddy bear.
