Fled With CEO’s Twin Babies

Chapter 1117 Close your eyes and come in

David got out of the car as soon as he arrived at the hospital, while Joe once again picked up Charlotte.

His hands were steady, but his face was extremely grim, and his aura was intimidating.

Even though Charlotte knew his anger wasn’t directed at her, she couldn't help but feel nervous.

“I'm fine," Charlotte spoke softly after some thought.

Joe snorted, “A broken bone isn’t nothing? Do you need to be missing an arm or a leg for it to be something?" Charlotte remained silent, further fueling Joe’s anger.

Enter title... He hadn’t expected to let Charlotte get hurt right under his nose.

As Joe entered the hospital, he saw a middle-aged man waiting at the door.

“Young master," the middle-aged man was the Smith family’s butler, who had watched Joe grow up.

When he received Joe’s call to bring a set of girl’s clothes, he was puzzled.

Joe never liked to interact with girls, so why would he suddenly... But when he saw Joe carefully holding the little girl, the butler understood.

As they approached, the butler snapped out of his confusion and quickly handed Joe a paper bag containing new clothes. Joe nodded and took Charlotte to a VIP ward.

“You might need to change your clothes,"

Joe’s gaze swept over Charlotte’s disheveled dress, feeling even more guilty.

She had originally been dressed like a little princess, attracting everyone's attention, but because of his negligence, she now looked so disheveled.

Charlotte didn’t need to look to know how disheveled she looked in her current outfit, so she quickly nodded. After Joe left, Charlotte sighed and, despite the pain in her hands and feet, put on the pants.

But when it came time to put on the shirt, she found herself stuck.

The more she panicked, the more stuck she became.

Helpless, she called out through the curtain, “Joe?”

“I'm here," Joe replied, and Charlotte reluctantly said, “Close your eyes and come in."

Joe hesitated but eventually complied.

Charlotte, feeling embarrassed, guided him to her.

Joe, adhering to etiquette, kept his eyes closed, but inevitably touched Charlotte’s skin while helping her get dressed. The girl’s skin felt like warm silk, and even though it was just a light touch, Joe felt like his fingers were burning.

As soon as he finished helping Charlotte get dressed, Joe rushed out of the ward.

Charlotte finally breathed a sigh of relief.

When she finished arranging her clothes, Joe appeared with a wheelchair and gestured for her to sit in it.

Charlotte felt it was a bit excessive, considering she only had a minor injury.

“I've already bought this wheelchair, and it’s not taking up anyone else’s resources,"

Joe shook his head.

“No one can say for sure the extent of your injuries, so it's better to be safe. Plus, I’ve already bought this wheelchair.”
