Chapter 1100 Having a class together
“Unconsciousness means giving away everything about yourself to others," Judy said sternly. Charlotte felt guilty and lowered her head, realizing that she hadn’t considered this when drinking. “I'm sorry, | was wrong,”
Charlotte apologized sincerely.
Seeing her admitting her mistake, Judy’s expression softened slightly.
She gazed at Charlotte and said, “I don’t want to interfere with your friendships, | just hope that no matter where you are, you should always prioritize your safety.
Remember, your father and | only have you as our daughter." Charlotte felt even more remorseful and hugged Judy, promising, “I really won't let it happen again." Enter title... After a moment, Judy reluctantly nodded, forgiving Charlotte for her actions this time.
After the mother and daughter finished their conversation, Congreve hurried over and frowned at Charlotte, “What's your relationship with the guy who took you home last night?"
Charlotte explained her relationship with Joe to Congreve. After hearing Charlotte’s explanation, both Congreve and Judy believed her.
Congreve couldn't help but mutter a warning to Charlotte, “That little guy doesn’t look like a good person, you should stay away from him!"
“I understand,"
Charlotte replied with a smile.
After breakfast, Congreve personally drove Charlotte to school. Little did he know that as soon as he left, Joe came to find Charlotte. Joe sat next to Charlotte and handed her a bottle of warm milk.
“Are you okay? Do you have a headache?"
Joe asked softly. Charlotte noticed the curious glances from her classmates and took the milk from Joe, saying, “I’m fine, you should go."
Joe was well-known at school, and combined with Charlotte’s outstanding performance at the freshman welcome party, when they sat together, almost everyone’s eyes turned towards them.
Joe had originally planned to leave, but upon hearing her words, he decided to stay. “I'm not very familiar with this subject, I'll stay for another class," Joe said. Charlotte almost rolled her eyes.
Who didn’t know that Joe had aced this subject with full marks? But with the bell ringing for class, she couldn’t chase him away, so she turned to the teacher and earnestly listened to the lesson.
Joe looked at her pouting expression and a smile appeared in his eyes.
