Flash Marriage Makes A Perfect Match

Chapter 42: In the end, it was all a farce.

Severo sat languidly; his posture was elegant, his aura powerful, and he looked like a painting.

He held a cigarette between his slender fingers. Through the smoke, Allyce couldn’t see his face clearly for a moment.

His gaze turned to the man standing next to Severo and he asked in a trembling voice: “Mr. Vasconcelos? What did you call him?”

The man standing next to Severo was Xabat Vasconcelos.

Xabat’s face was rigid. He turned around and looked at Severo with difficulty.

Severo was still sitting in the same position he had been in since Allyce had entered. He hadn’t even moved his fingers.

Xabat looked at him and Allyce turned to look at him.

Severo tosses aside his half-burnt cigarette and slowly stands up, stroking the creases in his suit jacket. Then he looks at Allyce, his eyes deep and calm.

“You didn’t go home? Why did you come back?”

His voice was still as cadenced as running water, but with a touch of coldness.

Seeing Severo pretend nothing had happened, Allyce didn’t dare say anything. She stepped back, frightened.

Aren’t we supposed to live in your house when we get married? I don’t have a house in Cloud City.

It’s my friend’s car.

The bottle of red wine, Mr. Betances settled for.

The details she had overlooked came back to her. She could see the flaws in them.

Because he had helped her chase the journalist away, because he had promised to marry her when she was desperate, she had chosen to trust him and had never doubted him.

Severo deciphered her silence and turned to her, “It’s all right now. Let’s go home.

Allyce shouted, “Don’t come near me!”

Severo stopped dead in his tracks.

“Boss? Kimdis’ boss?”

“Yes.” Severo replied simply.

“Severo, are you done? Allyce left her watch …”

Neto said as he entered. He walked through the door and saw Allyce standing there. He was very surprised and went out to look at the number written on the door and then went back in.

“Everyone is here …” Neto rubbed his nose and stopped talking.

With Severo’s affirmative answer, Allyce felt something shatter her heart in an instant.

She remembered how worried she was that Enzo would do something bad to Severo. Ha! How absurd!

Ridiculous, really.

The word “why” whirled around in his head, threatening to come out of his mouth. He swallowed it down.

Kimdis’ boss, who liked to stay behind the scenes, had done all this in secret just to get close to a “spineless” woman who had just returned to town. She must have had a bigger agenda.

In the end, it was all a sham.

His love, his care for her, even his desire to spend the rest of his life with her …. It was all a sham.

Allyce straightened her back, lifted her chin slightly and looked at Severo with cold eyes, then turned and ran out the door, not even remembering to take her watch with her.

No one followed her.

Very good.

Allyce ran to the lift and pressed the down button, but the doors did not open. Looking up, she saw that the lift was still on the seventeenth floor.

“Bang!”

He kicked the lift door as hard as he could, as the force made him grit his teeth in pain.

He ran to the other side and headed for the stairs.

Once outside the Kimdis, she hailed a taxi and got in. She felt confused and her mind went completely blank.

After a while, when he looked up again, he realised that something was wrong. Instead of a busy street outside the window, there was a dark lane with only a few street lights.

“Excuse me, are you sure this is the right way?” asked Allyce to the driver, as she tried to find her phone in her bag.

The driver’s voice sounded strange: “Yes, ma’am, this is the right road.

After answering, the driver whispered and laughed.

An alarm went off in Allyce’s head. She quickly pulled out her phone and dialled the first number she saw, not knowing who it belonged to.

The next moment the car door opened, the phone was snatched from her hand and she was pulled out of the car.

She opened her mouth to scream for help, but the men who pulled her out taped her lips shut and bound her hands and feet tightly. They looked like professional criminals; they didn’t even give her a chance to resist.

Then they blindfolded her and put her in another car.

A shiver went up in Allyce’s heart, making her hands and feet go cold with fear.

As the car door slammed shut, a strange, deep male voice rang out from the car. Take her away. We’ll go out and have a little more fun …”

Another obscene voice rang out, “This is a beautiful woman …”.

There was a sudden slap and then the first voice rang out loudly: “It’s not for you to share, this woman can get us paid”.

Money? Who was paying them to kidnap her?

Allyce tried to move her body, to make some noise, to get their attention. But she was bound so tightly that there was no way she could move or escape.

“Enough, we’ll be there soon.

Allyce froze, not daring to move again.

As the car rocked, Allyce lost track of time. I don’t know how long it took, but the car stopped. They took her out of the car and carried her for a long time before throwing her onto something.

It was a bed.

His eyes were still covered with a black cloth. He could not see, could not move and could not make a sound.

If someone came in and tried to do something to him, he wouldn’t be able to resist.

Allyce panicked, beads of sweat rolling down her forehead.

The men who had taken her had left and she could feel that she was alone in the room.

He rolled carefully twice on the bed until he reached the edge and then sat up, his bound legs dangling off the bed.

He planted his bound feet firmly on the ground and stood up with great difficulty.

The floor was carpeted; it looked like a woollen carpet, thick and luxurious.

So whoever had kidnapped her must have been very rich.

As soon as he thought that, Richie’s name popped into his head.

At that moment, footsteps sounded outside the door.

A flattering voice followed: “Boss! He’s in there.

Allyce froze in place at the sound of the voice. She didn’t dare move.

Richie?

The door creaked open. Allyce cocked her head to one side and tried to listen.

“What is this? How can I do what I want to do like this? Untie her!”

“Yes, boss …”

The cloth was removed from her eyes and the tape was ripped from her lips. The light irritated Allyce’s eyes.

Allyce saw Richie standing in the middle of the room, surrounded by several of his men.

He gritted his teeth with hatred and shouted at him: “Richie!

“Ah! There’s no need to make so much noise. You are so beautiful and so sexy even when you are angry. I’m so excited right now.

Richie’s eyes roamed unabashedly up and down her body, following her curves; he hated to put her in her place.
