"Narcissistic."

After saying that, Norah couldn't help but laugh.

Suddenly, she felt her body lighten. When she came back to her senses, she was already being held in

Shawn's arms.

"Hey, why are you picking me up? Put me down."

"No way."

Shawn still held her tight. At the same time, he took a big step forward.

"There are people on both sides. I'm not that cheeky. Just put me down," said Norah.

With a low chuckle, Shawn said, "You can lean your head in my arms."

"But, actually, it's okay if you don't come near me. It's already dark. None of them can see you."

Although Norah said so, she was a little embarrassed.

And, Shawn was soon carrying her towards the light.

When Norah reached her destination, she was instantly stunned. She had completely forgotten that

Shawn was holding her in his arms.

Before her eyes, those lights were decorated like an ocean of light.

White tables and chairs were set underneath the table.

A lot of delicacies were served on the table.

Two glasses of red wine had been placed on the tables on both sides. A light breeze blew by, and the

red wine swirled and danced gently in the wine glasses. It looked so alive.

Shawn walked up and pulled out one of the chairs. Then he made a gesture of invitation. "Miss Chase,

you may be seated."

Norah was flattered.

Frozen for a moment, Shawn had taken Norah's hand. He then led Norah to a chair.

He pulled out the chair and sat down on the other side.

The breeze was blowing softly. It was a little cold, but it wasn't freezing cold.

Norah took a good sniff. Suddenly, she looked up at Shawn in surprise. "It smells good! I think I smell

flowers."

The moment her words broke off, a float slowly came up from behind Norah. The float then stopped

next to Shawn.

Shawn got up and picked up a few flowers from it with his long fingers. Then, he quickly wove those

flowers.

Finally, a beautiful wreath took shape in his hands and looked pretty gorgeous.

"Does it look pretty?" Shawn asked her with a smile through the soft light.

Norah nodded softly.

"Then I'll put it on you."

He said as he walked over to Norah with the wreath in his hands.

Quickly, Shawn placed the beautiful wreath on Norah's head. The moment he gently sniffed the

flowers, he smelled the fragrance. The air was secretly scented with flowers.

Just then, Shawn suddenly reached out.

Norah couldn't believe it when she saw the shining item in his hand.

"It actually has a matching necklace. Where did you find it?" She said, with a look of awe and surprise

in her bright eyes.

Norah had thought it was rare to see the earrings in the collection.

She hadn't expected there to be a matching necklace.

"The first time I saw this necklace, I thought it should be a set with those earrings. So I asked around.

Sure enough, there was indeed another necklace."

"After trying so hard, I got the necklace a few hours ago. I immediately had the necklace sent for

maintenance."

"And now, here you are. And it's here too. This is the best thing that happened to me."

The moment his words broke off, Shawn walked up behind Norah and put the necklace on her neck.

As the cold necklace was placed under her collarbone, Norah couldn't help but reach for her chest and

feel the warmth in her heart.

Norah touched the necklace, looked at the bracelet on her wrist, and tilted her head to look at the stars

in the sky.

"Grandfather, I know you're up there. You can see us, right?"

"Look. Shawn and I are fine now. Don't worry. I'm not failing you. I'm going to be very happy."

The evening breeze blew. The two men had dinner leisurely.

Norah was still extraordinarily curious about Shawn's choice of a restaurant on a hill for dinner.

"Why do you choose here to have dinner?" asked Norah.

"It's a secret."

Maybe it was because it was such a beautiful night. Or maybe it was because it was a great day. Or

maybe it was because her beloved one was sitting across from her. Norah couldn't help but take a few

more sips of red wine.

This was unexpected by Shawn.

Shawn had wanted to pour the wine to set the mood.

He knew that Norah would easily get drunk after taking a few drinks. And she barely drank in daily life.

Norah didn't expect the wine to taste pretty good after taking a sip of the wine.

Then she took a second and third sip...

Shawn flashed a grin as he reminded her. "Although the wine smells good and is a little sweet, it is

pretty strong. Just taste a little. Don't drink too much."

"Hmm." Norah nodded as she said, "But I rarely find a flavor I like so much. I promise I won't drink a lot.

I'll just drink a little more."

As it turned out, Shawn wouldn't give her a chance to drink too much.

Soon, she drained her glass of red wine.

Just as Norah reached for the bottle to pour a second glass, Shawn had ordered the bottle away.

"I'd like a little more," said Norah.

Shawn shook his head and said, "You're going to get drunk if you keep drinking."

Norah was speechless.

"Mr. Lawson, how come I didn't know when you were so mean?"

"Well, I am a little petty. I don't care if someone else is drunk. Since my woman is drunk, I must care for

her."

After they finished eating, it was a little late. The wind was getting a bit cold.

Norah was a little cold. The next moment, Shawn hugged her from behind.

Then Shawn wrapped his coat around Norah. The two of them were wearing the same coat.

He cupped Norah's small hands in his to keep her hands warm.

"It's getting a little late. Aren't we going back?" asked Norah.

"Okay. But we'll wait a while," said Shawn.

"Alright."

Seeing how sure and mysterious he looked, Norah didn't ask more questions. Then she listened to his

words and waited quietly.

Five minutes passed. Ten minutes passed...

Suddenly, at the twelfth minute, the sky exploded with a bright light.

Immediately after that, a shooting star, two shooting stars, and a large meteor flew and glided across

the sky.

Norah had never dreamed of seeing meteor showers.

She reached up and pointed to the shooting stars in the sky. She was as happy as a child.

Norah laughed as she shouted, "Wow, a shooting star! Shawn, it's really a shooting star. Make a wish!

Make a wish."

Norah immediately closed her eyes and put her hands together. With a look of devotion and

seriousness on her face, she made a wish.

Shawn smiled. He turned his head sideways. Looking at this innocent and lovely girl in front of him,

Shawn found life very gentle and peaceful.

After making the wish, Norah opened her eyes. She smiled with her eyes. She seemed to be thrilled.

"Are you done?" asked Shawn.

"Yeah." Norah nodded and asked, "How did you make such a quick wish?"

"Because my wish was simple. I only had to say a few words, so I was quick."

"Really? Then what did you wish for?" Norah suddenly asked out loud.

Originally, she was asking casually, but she didn't expect Shawn to take it seriously.

Shawn looked at her with a look of seriousness and certainty. "It's really quite simple, Norah. The wish I

made was..."
