Fatal Kiss Of The Vampire

Chapter 72: Isn’t That Normal?

It was tranquil there. But after three seconds, there was a huge slapping sound that pierced many people’s eardrums.

William Woolf looked like a completely different person, now that he was dressed for his part. He wore a white jacket and held a whip. Even though he was just standing there casually, he nonetheless looked very domineering.

He seemed complacent when he noticed that Kylie Finch was looking at his changes with wonder. “What? Now you can’t recognize me in these clothes, girl?”

She looked humble and respectful, but she spoke in a whisper: “Don’t think I wouldn’t know it’s you after you take them off.”

“You…”

“What? Read the transcript carefully. Be careful ’cause I am going to slap you hard!”

“But I remember that you slap me when I kiss you…I am so looking forward to it…”

Bastard!

Lily Lawrence, from far away, looked at them and was so furious by how close they seemed, that she wanted to tear her costume apart.

William only seemed to care about Kylie Finch. When Lily had wanted to give him his costume, as an excuse to approach him, she had been stopped by William’s agent.

She hadn’t even had the chance to speak with him yet.

Khloe Finch walked towards Lily, using a fan to cool herself down. “Lily, don’t overthink it. What’s done is done. I guess Kylie Finch is just lucky this year after being down-trodden for so many years. After this drama is aired, she’ll win the Rookies’ annual award, I guess.”

“What? That award is mine! That bitch!”

She had torn her costume apart by herself, and her face twitched in anger.

“God, don’t freak out, Lily. Don’t forget how she got into this show in the first place. Don’t even think about confronting her. She may set you up and give you a difficult time.”

“She must be mad if she thinks that she can fight me. My Sugar Daddy will kill her!”

Lily got angrier while talking about it. She had worked with Kylie before, so she knew how good Kylie was. If she was presented with a good opportunity, Kylie would simply crush her.

Khloe had succeeded in provoking Lily. She sneered.

She could use Lily to take her first step, and then she would be able to set into play her huge plan to fight Kylie.

But she had to admit that since Kylie Finch had broken up with Aiden, Kylie had gotten much luckier. Khloe had to be careful.

“Miss Cotty, you ready?” Director Johnson asked the prop master.

“All set. What do you think?” The prop master pushed a large, wooden horse towards them.

“Great. You hold the blower in the front.” Director Johnson put the horse at the right place and called out: “Hey, William, your horse is ready.”

“Copy that.” William Woolf looked serious as he climbed onto the horse. “Come on.”

The prop master tied one of his hands to therein.

Becky Ruiz was tricked and tied up on the horse, but William easily solved the crisis. He kissed Kylie Finch.

“Oh My! Make out on a horse! Gosh, I want to be with William on that horse forever.”

“I think you just want to ride him. But, unlucky for you, that bitch has stolen that opportunity.”

“She doesn’t deserve it! Look at how ugly she is and how handsome my William is.”

“What a waste!”

The director coughed to remind everyone to be quiet. “Ready, action!”

Kylie Finch didn’t seem to hear what they were talking about. When the camera was facing her, her expression was completely changed.

Funny, energetic, and ambitious…this was how a young girl should be. She also looked a little cocky, giving the others a reason to dislike her.

She walked up to the horse and rolled up her sleeve.

Another camera was facing William Woolf.

He astride the horse, and his hands were tied up. The ropes looked too tight, but William appeared calm on-screen. He gave people a feeling that he could get angry at any point.

The horse stopped, and Sam, William’s character, raised his head to look at her mockingly.

Becky was holding the horse by the reins. She used the whip in her hand to slap its rear. “Don’t look at me like that. You are my prisoner now.”

Sam smiled but didn’t say anything.

Becky was still wearing an evil smile. “What? Don’t you like that? Maybe you should have a taste of what I have in store for you. It will be great.”

“Maybe you should be more careful while talking to me, little girl,” Sam angrily retorted, in a low voice.

Becky looked at him, then grabbed his hair and raised his head. “Who is little now? Uh?”

He turned himself around on the horse and raised his legs. Then he sat up straight and quickly got a hold of Becky’s hands.

With great strength, he pulled Becky up onto the horse until she was sitting in front of him.

“I guess I have lost track of how many women I’ve been with before. But I haven’t tried it on a horse. It should be fun.” He grabbed her hands and put them against her back.

“Sam, if you touch me even once, you are not a real man!” Becky said angrily, but with some embarrassment. She opened her eyes wide.

He got closer to her until his nose touched her forehead. In an effort to provoke her, he said: “Then I should show you how capable I am!” Then he started kissing her.

Sam turned his head. He didn’t just kiss her face but also her neck. It all happened so quickly…

“Cut!”

The director stopped them while everyone was swallowing deeply. Why had he made them stop? Everyone wanted to see whether Sam was a real man and how capable he was…

Kylie and William were perfect partners, and Director Johnson was so happy to see them perform so well.

The audience would look forward to the drama going on between them.

At first, many of the cast had wanted Kylie to get away from William. But while they were shooting that scene, they actually wanted William to do something to her. It’s like they were rooting for William to have intimacy with her!

However, now that they were having a rest, everyone resumed their cold judgment of Kylie; she could see the others rolling their eyes at her.

All the girls went to go check on William, to see if his wrist was really hurt or if he had cerebral hemorrhage because of the horse-riding.

Even Cliff Benjamin, who was always so calm and cold, couldn’t sit tight anymore.

He hated it when there were many girls asking him for autographs and photos. They were like ducks quacking next to him. But now they were all surrounding William, and he felt bored.

Apparently, among all the people there, Director Johnson was the most satisfied.

The next scenes between them were finished over the next few days, and everything went smoothly. They were a perfect couple.

When the shooting was over, Kylie removed her makeup, and couldn’t wait to leave. Then her phone rang.

To her surprise, it was Nate Bass.

Why was he calling her?

She held the phone to her ear and squatted in an empty corner. “Lord Nate?”

“Yeah…Kylie…” The guy on the other end sounded powerless like he was dying.

Kylie was shocked by his tone. “Are you alright, Lord Nate?”

“Of course, I am. Let me ask you: How did you make my friend ill?” Nate Bass suddenly raised his voice.

“He is ill? I think he was fine when I left.” Kylie was clueless.

“Fine? Do you think this is fine? He just came to the company and called on the representatives of all subsidiaries to have a meeting. And he was not smiling at all!”

“Not smiling…Isn’t that normal? If he was smiling, then he would be ill.”
