Help!
Demelza returned to the hotel and decided to have a quick bath before catching a nap. While she was in the bathroom, she heard her phone pinging nonstop and it annoyed her. She reached out her hand and ended the call knowing fully well that she wasn’t ready for any incoming drama.
As soon as she was done showering, her phone still kept ringing constantly and this time it was uncontrollable for her to hang up the call. She was pissed that Nathan wouldn’t stop calling her line so she breathed in and out before answering his phone call.
“Hello… Mel, Can you hear me at all?” he stuttered a bit before summoning up the courage to put his sentences together.
“Speak Nathan! I have limited time to spare besides I was doing something important before I saw your call.”
“Demelza this is unlike you. Where did all the sweetness and happiness go whenever we were on a call?”
“Maybe, you should be the one asking yourself that question because I never saw that in our conversation.”- she scoffed over the call.
“Mel, are you the one saying this at all? After everything we’ve been through and now you are treating me like a piece of trash.” his voice broke down in emotions as he spoke over the phone.
“Nathan I’m not ready for any of your manipulative antics at all. Is this the reason why you’ve been buzzing my phone all day?”
“This isn’t the reason why I called you.” he answered swiftly.
“Please, can you go straight to the point and tell me why we are having this conversation?”
“Uhmmm…. Mel, the reason why I called you is to tell you that whatever you think that happened between I and Silver wasn’t intentional. I know you are broken right now but I am here to heal that broken heart of yours by telling you everything that transpired between me and Silver.”
“What exactly do I want to hear? Nathan the deed has already been done so there is nothing that can be done to reverse it. Besides, this is beginning to feel like dejavu”
“Mel, please don’t hang up the call. All I need is one more opportunity to prove to you that I am still that man that has been there for you…”
As he was speaking to Demelza over the phone, Silver and a security guard barged into his office.
The security guard was struggling to send Silver out of the building but she found her way of pushing herself into Nathan’s office.
“Nathan, is this how you tell your security guards to treat your woman?”-silver questioned him as she got into his office.
She had decided to drive back, feeling unsatisfied about being dragged out like that.
“Excuse me?”- he stood up from his chair with a strong face forgetting that he was on a call.
“I thought as much, Nathan. She is there again, right? There’s absolutely nothing you want to tell me that I might end up believing you. Bye, Nathan. Until we meet again.” Demelza spoke over the phone with a weak feminine voice before hanging up the call.
“Mel is not what you think at all. I had no idea that this wicked human being would be showing up at my office today.” he answered her so fast but unfortunately for him, the call was placed on voice mail.
“Damn!”- he exclaimed with his eyes in rage.
“Babe you don’t have to be angry at all. After all, I’m here so I see no reason why you should be angry at all.”- Silver moved closer to him while rubbing her hands on his chest.
“Get the hell off my body!”- he pushed her aside, picked up the glass on his desk and threw it on the wall out of anger.
“Nathan! Nathan! What has gotten into you? Are you in your right senses ?” Silver questioned him in a panic state seeing all that had happened before her eyes.
“Silver, if you don’t want me to do something stupid right now, you kindly respect yourself enough to use the door.” he warned her.
“I won’t leave here not until we discuss like how couples do. I won’t allow you to treat me like a piece of trash. Never!”- She grabbed a chair beside her and sat on it crossing her legs.
“Hey Mr. Man.”- he pointed at the security guard who stood at the entrance of his office looking so confused.
“Yes sir!”
“What’s your duty again?”
The security guard didn’t say a word with his head bent down facing the floor.
“I want you to carry this lady out of my office and the next time I see her in my office or anywhere in this building, you and your fellow guards would get your sack letter from me. Am I understood?”
“Yes sir!”
The security guard left his office and went over to call two more guards to assist him so that they could pull her up.
“Get your hands off me! Don’t you dare touch me at all? I’m not going anywhere at all, know that and know peace.”-she kept on hitting their hands off her body.
“Madam, if you don’t want us to rough handle you at all then leave this building by yourself if not we’ll be pushed to lift you ourselves.”- the security guards chorused with their words.
“Are you guys deaf at all? I’m not leaving here at all and I stand on that. This man you see standing right here is my husband and I can’t leave him for nothing else.”
The more she kept on talking the more Nathan kept boiling inside with so much anger.
“Guards! Enough of the questions and seeking permission from her. Do your thing now! Get her out of this building immediately.” he instructed.
Immediately he gave the order his guards carried her on their shoulders and started taking her away from the building.
“Help! Help! Help!”- she exclaimed.
