Chapter27: where did you fly from?
: where did you fly from?
At the entrance of the hotel, Cathy Lawson took her bag and got off the car.
Probably received her information, Matt had waited for her at the door. After finding her was safe and sound, he relieved finally, " Cathy
"I'm sincerely sorry to worry you so much." Cathy smiled at him with embarrassment.
"It's all right." The man smiled softly and couldn't help reaching out and touching her head.
The intimate scene happened to be seen by Tyrone who got off the car. He had meant to say something to her alone, but now he was irritable and he changed his mind. His eyes got darker. The car door was closed carelessly. Throwing the key to the parking boy next to him, then Tyrone stepped into the hotel.
Cathy Lawson was surprised, then subconsciously yelled, "Tyrone ..."
She only spat out a word, but the man had gone far without any response.
She was a bit sad, but also felt somewhat inexplicable.
Matt Looked towards the direction Tyrone left, then asked hesitatingly, "Did you quarrel on the way?"
Cathy's mood suddenly was a little bad, and she shook her head in a sullen mood. "Nope."
They just ate a meal, he probably... didn't have enough.
Matt thought she was just tired, "You must be tired, go back to rest." he said tenderly.
Cathy found Mila had already slept. So just after greeting Matt, Cathy Lawson returned to her own room. She first soaked in a hot bath, and almost fell asleep here.
She wrapped in a bath towel when the water was nearly cool, burrowed into the quilt and fell asleep without thinking.
The biological clock drove her to get up early in the morning as usual.
Matt had some businesses to deal with again, so she herself took Mila to the hotel's restaurant for breakfast.
When she and Mila were taking the food for themselves, Tyrone together with Marian Johnson also walked in. Both of them were wearing casual clothes, a handsome man who was more than 1.8 meters and a sexy beautiful woman who was about1.6 meters. They were such a perfect match when she looked at them distantly.
When she gazed at them, the man just looked over and their sight line collided. After that, he moved his eyes away naturally like nothing happened.
Cathy licked her lips and continued to choose food. Meanwhile, she also asked about Mila's preferences.
For a long while, Mila pulled her clothes, pointed a small cake with her finger, and looked at Cathy with her lovely round eyes.
"Do you want this?"
She nodded.
Cathy smiled softly. "OK, I will give you a piece."
Indeed, she also wanted to eat. Like other pregnant women, she prefer sweet, too.
She took up the knife and cut a small piece for the little girl, then cut a large piece for herself. When she turned around, she didn't notice the waiter passing by. When she was going to hit a pot of hot soup on water's hands, her brain suddenly got blank and instantly forgot what to do.
When she reacted, the first sentence she heard in her ear was the familiar low voice. "Cathy Lawson! What are you doing just now? Don't you know how to hide?"
Cathy looked at the cake on his clothes and then glanced at his gloomy handsome face. She didn't know how were she feeling, maybe guilt, or something else. She just laughed awkwardly: "Where did you... fly from?"
Tyrone, "..."
The man pushed her away, and pulled off the napkin next to them to mopped up his clothes casually. He sneered, "I didn't find you stupid so poorly before. Did you leave your brain at home today?"
Cathy's face was black. The kind of reaction in that case was purely a conditional reflection. How did she have time to think over?
Besides, how many times did he see her in marriage for three years? How did he can call her stupid?
This bastard!
Grinding her teeth in anger, how she wished that she could pat the other piece of cake on him.
