Chap 47
I am Jealous Part 3
From day to night, exactly seven o’clock Lexi was at home. Before twelve o’clock, he met with his co-workers on schedule. Then he went home to meet his wife. Jessica has not yet returned home. She was still going with Arvel, since this morning they hadn’t come home until now.
It was a waste of time to call Jessica. His wife’s smartphone was left on the desk and it had a low battery. No less annoying, Arvel also did not activate his phone. The text he sent was read, but received no reply. Never mind receiving a phone call, now the number couldn’t be reached, he intentionally turned it off.
“Damn, where did that guy take Jessica?” Lexi grumbled as he walked back to the left to the right like an iron. He went in and out of the room to the balcony several times. He couldn’t calm down because Jessica hadn’t come home either.
Lexi grabbed his chin. Since then, he has not been able to calm down and think positively. He threw his phone away and decided to leave the room. He was waiting for his wife in front of the house.
Just as Lexi was about to go down the stairs he saw his mother at the end of the stairs about to go upstairs. “Mama wants to call you to dinner together, where is Jessica? Invite her down,” she asked.
“Jessica’s not home yet! It’s Mom’s fault that you let Jessica go with Arvel, since this morning they both haven’t come home yet!” Lexi blamed her while walking down the stairs. He looked annoyed, he hid his worries and jealousy.
“Why are you angry? Jessica just went with Arvel anyway. They must be on their way home!” Mrs. Anna answered.
Lexi walked over to the veranda, while her mother returned to the dining room. She talked with the husband, talking about Lexi.
Lexi sat on one of the chairs on the front veranda. The two of his eyes were fixed on the gate. He was waiting for the sound of the car. Every now and then he checked his watch, and for thirty minutes Jessica and Arvel haven’t seen a sign of going home.
Drizzle began to fall. A minute later, a car came in through the main gate. It stopped at the garage next to the house. Lexi stood, waiting for Jessica and Arvel.

Arvel stopped the car in the garage, in line with some other luxury cars. “You saw it, right?” Arvel asked. He took off the coat he had been wearing since this morning.
“Yes, my husband will definitely be furious! Maybe he’ll tear me apart or let me sleep on the balcony!” Jessica worried. She couldn’t imagine what Lexi would do.
“Calm down, my sister! I’ll help you if you want! Okay?” Arvel reassured Jessica that everything would be fine. “Let’s go down!” He said and he was deliberately hiding the umbrella.
Jessica got out of the car. They both stood in line. The rain became heavy.
“Look! My husband must be angry! He’s waiting on the veranda!” Jessica’s complaint was directed at Lexi who was in the middle of the waist with a mad face. “Don’t we just go home!” Jessica said. She was not sure about running through the rain, not for fear of getting wet. She was afraid to face what was already waiting for her there.
“I agree, do I have to get the car out right now?” Arvel joked.
Jessica looked at Arvel. “You’re not serious, aren’t you?!!”
“No!” he answered. Then, he led Jessica closer. His jacket became an umbrella for Jessica, Arvel invited Jessica under his jacket and they walked in heavy rain. It was sure to make Lexi even more angry.
Arvel and Jessica stopped right in front of Lexi.
Without saying a word, Lexi grabbed Jessica’s hand roughly. “Come in!” he shouted.
“It hurts,” Jessica said.
“Don’t blame her! It was my fault, just punish me!” Arvel said, deliberately playing a hero.
Lexi stared intently at Arvel. Then he took Jessica’s hand and went into the house with her.
Mrs. Anna and Mr. Hadi didn’t dare to ask Lexi a question. They only looked without daring to approach, only then after Arvel entered the house, they both were eager to interrogate.
“What happened?” Mrs. Anna asked softly. Lexi’s expression was terrible.
“Calm down! This was already my plan! Don’t you need to worry, okay?”Arvel persuaded, he sat comfortably next to Mr. Hadi.
“What if they get angry and make things worse?” She was massaging her eyebrows. “I am afraid that I will have to give up my dream of having grandchildren in the near future.”
“Let them go, I just want Lexi to admit Jessica, aunty! I have to make her angry and jealous. It was Kania and Arsene’s plan!” Arvel explained.
Mrs. Anna nodded in agreement, while Mr. Hadi chose not to care.

“I don’t know what you’re thinking Jessica! You deliberately didn’t come home at lunchtime! You didn’t turn on your phone! Now you come home at night and choose to be alone with Arvel! Are you deliberately challenging me? Are you deliberately trying to make me angry?” Lexi was mad. He looked at his wife intensely. “What exactly do you want?” he asked again.
Jessica lowered her head. She chose silence rather than answer Lexi’s question. Arvel lied, in fact he did not appear at all even when Lexi yelled at him repeatedly.
“Are you just going to shut up? Say what you want and don’t shut up!” Lexi snapped once more. He didn’t care about the wet sleeves of his wife.
“No, I just feel lonely when I’m home alone,” Jessica said, still hiding her face. She was scared if Lexi suddenly hit him. Her husband’s eyes made her more scared.
“Well, from tomorrow I will work from home! How?” Lexi asked. He put his feet three steps forward. He was right in front of Jessica.
Being so close to Leximade Jessica pounding.
“No, you have to go to the office,” Jessica answered quickly!
“I can’t understand you, Jess! If you’re lonely I’ll be at home and keep you company!” Lexi told.
“No, I don’t want any trouble! You better go to the office!”
“And then?!”
She was silent then. Lexi stared intently at his wife.
“What that means is that you prefer Arvel’s company over mine!”
Jessica’s silent response made Lexi more angry. They stared at each other. Jessica was begging for forgiveness, while Lexi was cold and won’t forgive her.
“From now on, I will not allow you to leave the house!” Lexi shouted as he grabbed Jessica’s hand. “Follow me!”
Jessica struggled trying to escape from Lexi’s grasp. However, the husband’s hand power was stronger. She was helpless when Lexi took her in the bathroom and locked her there.
Jessica called his name again and again. She asked to be opened the door. But Lexi chose to be indifferent. Jessica who has dared to break the rules and did not heed his request should be given a lesson.
“My husband, please open the door!” Jessica shouted several times. However, there was no response. Lexi was furious.
