CEO’s Unloved Wife

Chapter 6

She’ll pay for this!

Dylan POV

I stormed out of my room with my briefcase in my hand, as I used my right hand to buttoned my suit. I’m so damn late for work today, and I have an appointment to meet up with in thirty minutes.

Descending down the stairs, I was welcomed with the sweet aroma, that filled my nose, and I didn’t need anyone to tell me that my maid is at it again. I walked briskly to the kitchen, where I met her, busy with cooking.

“Good morning Sir. You’re up already?”She greeted politely, as she bowed slightly, but my eyes were on the food she was making, but too bad I won’t be able to stay back and eat from it, I’m so damn late for work, and I have an important appointment to meet up with.

“Morning Jane. Don’t bother packing food for me, I’ll be very busy at work later, so I won’t have time to eat, maybe when I get back from work later.”I said.

“Alright sir.”She bowed slightly.

“Go to my room, tidy it up, and make sure to take all of my used clothes to the laundry.”I said, and turned around to leave, but stopped, and turned back to her, as something crossed my mind.

“I left some money on top of the desk beside the bed, use it to buy the foodstuffs needed in the house, and if the money is not enough, use my credit card.”I said, and with that, I turned around and walked out of the kitchen.

Walking over to the door, I stormed out of the house, and in the next few minutes, I was already at the parking lot, standing beside one of my numerous cars, and without wasting time, I hopped in, before driving out of the compound.

My name is Dylan Smith, the only child of my aged dad, and the CEO of DwellSmith empire, one of the top ranking estate management company in Texas. At the age of thirty, I’ve already had many achievements, and I managed to get my company, to the top ten estate management company in the whole of America.

My dad has been ill for months now, and he’s laying unconscious on the hospital bed, under life support. I’m still praying and hoping that he wakes up soon. He’s the only family I have, and losing him, is the last thing I want. Did I forgot to add this? I have a girlfriend, her name is Amy Jones, and trust me, I do love her with everything in me. Enough of the introduction for now, you’ll get to know me as time goes on.

After driving for what seemed like forever, I finally took the last turn to my company, but matched on the brake, bringing the car to an halt, as I almost run into a car. Damn! Traffic jam? Not now please.

I groaned angrily, as I hit my hand on the steering wheel. I have an appointment in less than thirty minutes, and here I am, stucked up in traffic jam, how the heck am I going to get this done with?

Taking a glance at my wrist watch, I huffed angrily, before raising my gaze to look at the cars, assembling in front of me. For the love of heaven, when will this traffick rubbish be over, so I can get out of here, huh?

Throwing my head on the head rest, I closed my eyes briefly, and sighed frustratingly, while trying to calm myself down, I’m just trying to suppress the urge to scream my lungs out, but I don’t really know how long I’ll be able to hold it in.

After almost forever of getting stucked in the traffic jam, the cars finally started moving slowly, and I almost screamed, can’t they just move out of my way?

The car in front of me, suddenly stopped moving, and I couldn’t help the scoff that escaped my lips. Is the driver of the car losing his or her mind or something? If he or she got nothing doing, does that mean that every other persons are like him or her?

Turning on the ignition, I set my car on motion, and overtake the car, and in the next seconds, I was already in front of it, but then, I was forced to stopped the car, as I heard a sound. Wait! Did that sound came from my car or something?

Getting rid of my seatbelt, I made to open the door, when a knock came on my window glass, and I was forced to look at the person, as I was welcomed with an ugly looking young lady, glaring daggers at my car through the glass. If she’s here to beg, she better find her way from here, because I’m in no mood for that now, I have a fool to deal with.

I sighed softly, and whined down the glass, while staring into space, not sparing her a glance. She should say whatever she wants to say, and get out of here, I’ll be so mad at her, if that idiot escape me.

“You?”Came her voice amidst gasp, and I couldn’t help tilting my head to look at her for the first time, as I behold the most horrible face ever. A pair of green eyes, the color I hate most, blonde hair, the hair color that disgusts me the most, a pointed nose, flawless and spotless skin, but damn! Everything about her disgusts me, and wait! Where did she know me from?

“What do you want?”I asked coldly, while giving her the deadliest look ever. I’m just seeing her for the first time, but still, I feel so irritated by her.

“Huh?”She kept staring at me, with a foolish smile on her face. Ok I guess she must be losing her mind already.

“This is crazy.”I muttered, as I finally opened the door, and stepped out, before walking over to the back of my car, not after giving her one more glare.

Taking a close look at my car, I couldn’t help the gasp that escaped my lips, as I was welcomed with a scratch on it.

What the heck! The idiot scratched my car, what guts!

Anger surged through me, as I finally turned to look at the car. I walked over to the car, and just when I was about knocking on it, her voice came on, bringing me to a stop, with my hand hanging in the air.

“That’s my car.”Came her voice.

What! She’s the idiot that dares to leave a scratch on my car, huh? Does she knows how much it costs, huh? How dare her! She’s so going to pay for this….
