Chapter 15: I Belong

This is just crazy!

My whole family in Nebraska doesn’t understand this! I’m a born model and that’s it. I’m nothing else. Modeling is my passion and this is what I am born to do! Leila better not turn on me, she’s basically the only friend I have, well besides Haley. I’m going to give Haley a call and ask her if she wants to hang out today! I’m sure she supports me.

Thank god I have today off, I’m so mad at my family that I’d mess up the whole photo shoot. The important thing I must worry about is John, he cannot find out how mad and frustrated I am about my family.

That will never happen! He will never even know anything about my family!

Quickly calling Haley because I’m so frustrated that I don’t want John to see me like this, I asked her if she wanted to go have coffee and grab a bite to eat at the Hot Rod. She told me to meet her there in about an hour. After we hung up, the hot, steamy, shower I took felt so good that I felt a bit better.

While I’m sitting here at the Hot Rod waiting for Haley, sipping on my coffee, I noticed a man staring at me from afar. I don’t know who this man is, but he keeps staring at me with a creepy look. her to look behind her, but not to make it noticeable, at the guy standing there staring at me. Haley stood up and pretended she was looking for the server so she could order a drink.

By that time, the creepy dude had left, she did not see him. I explained to her about him and she replied.

“Well, I’m sure he thought you were the most beautiful woman in here and that’s all it was.”

“I don’t know, he was creepy just standing there staring at me,” I said.

“Don’t worry about it, there are very weird people here in New York,” Haley replied.

“UGH.. I guess,” I said.

“So, how have you been? I haven’t talked to ya in forever, it seems like,” Haley asked.

“I’ve been great! Well, until I talked to my mom,” I replied.

“Oh, I see. What did she have to say?” Haley said.

“Basically she had told me that I do not belong in the modeling business, but I told her off and that I do belong, she got kinda. mad so we left it at that,” I replied.

“Awe. I’m sorry to hear this, Star. If there is anything I can do to help ya, I’m here,” Haley said.

“I know you are and I thank you! You have no idea how thankful I am for you, I just needed to vent and you’re the only person I can vent to,” I replied.

“Anyway, how is the modeling going?” Haley asked.

“It’s going great! John and I are getting along so well. He asked me to move in with him!” I replied.

“Are you serious? Wow! That’s quick, don’t you think?” Haley said.

“Ahh, not really. I have feelings for him and he has feelings for me, so he asked me and I took him up on it,” I replied.

“Well, I just don’t want you to get hurt,” Haley said.

“I don’t think he could possibly ever hurt me!” I said,

“Just be careful, you never know about these rich men in NY,” Haley replied.

“I will,” I said.

“Thank you for inviting me to lunch, I gotta get going, this is my only day off and I must get things done. Call me later,” Haley said.

“Okay. I will,” I replied.

Haley left, soon after she left I had to leave. John’s at work, so I‘ m going to walk around town for a bit.

I’m actually going to do some shopping, I’m in need of new clothes. I got my first paycheck from modeling and it’s a good one, so new clothes will brighten my day! The first store I went to is Bloomingdale’s. I found a few outfits here then I headed over to Macy’s. “Damn, this store is huge, I saw a store this big,” I thought to myself.

I bought sexy lingerie and perfume at Macy’s, if I would have bought more stuff here I’d be broke. Things are expensive in New York and I must get used to this, but then again, my man is the richest man in New York, so I have no worries! When John gets home from work, “wow, I said home!” I’m going to have my new sexy teddy on. He will get turned on instantly by my beauty!

When I arrived at the mansion, the butler grabbed my bags and brought them inside for me. I stood there in shock because I’m not used to this kind of treatment, and my jaw dropped. I’m loving this though, this is the best life that I’m living and I’m going to make it even better! All I need is John and Haley in my life now, F***k my family, they don’t care anyway!

It’s my turn to shine and I’m going to do it here in the best city for modeling! I’m going to get my photo on the cover of a magazine someday and I’m not going to stop until I do!

John should be getting home soon, so I’m going to get ready for when he does. I’m going to show him how good I’m going to be to him, I’m never going to let him slip away!
