Black Rose: Revenge Of The Callous Heiress

Rose noticed their expression but thought that they might have a problem with Rey Mason. She began to tell them everything that happened from the moment she entered the restaurant and how she went to the restroom because she was uncomfortable and how she was on way out and unfortunately encountered Rey.

"That damn prick doesn't know when to stop does he." Christopher was the first person to speak after Rose was done explaining.

"A beauty like you is expected to draw those kinds of jerks to you. You should have done more than just kicking him." Edwards also added.

The reason why they were all agitated was because of the fact that there were a lot of disgusting rumors surrounding Rey Mason and all the dirty things he usually does. For someone like that to try and use force on a little girl like Rose was enough to make them lose their temper but they all manage to control themselves.

"Anyways, since you're here to have lunch, you can eat with us. We were waiting for him before we ordered our dish but now that he is here you obviously don't want to eat on the first floor there is plenty of room here." Christopher suggested and looked at the rest of friends who nodded their heads at him.

Rose shamelessly nodded her head, since she obviously didn't want to eat outside as well.

"I won't be eating because Leo brought lunch earlier and I have to eat it before coming here." Nicholas suddenly accounce.

"What?! Then why are you here then and you're even late too?" Christopher snapped his head to look at Nicholas. They had all been starving themselves thinking that he would come and he did only to tell them that he had eaten.

"I had to come because you wouldn't let me have peace if I didn't come. Just coming late and you aren't letting me have peace." Nicholas coldly glared at Christopher.

"That's enough guys." Edwards quickly cut them off, knowing that they can continue like that.

"But he is paying for the bill since he came late." Christopher argued and pointed at Nicholas.

"Did you think I can't pay the bill? It's not like you can eat the entire restaurant. Go ahead and eat whatever you like." Nicholas proudly boasted with a serious expression on his face.

"This guy-" Christopher was unable to finish his words when the door opened and a waiter walked in. It was Edward who had called him by pressing the button by the table while those two were still arguing among each other.

Just like that, they ordered the food they wanted, including Rose. Rose had no idea that she had just dined with four most powerful men in the whole of California, though she knew a little bit about who Alex was.

A few moments later they were done eating. The only people who didn't eat were Alex and Nicholas, they only ordered drinks.

After the waiter left, Rose's cellphone began ringing in her bag. "Excuse me," she told the older men and pulled out her cell phone and saw that it was Alisa calling her.

"Go ahead." Edward was the one who nodded his head.

"Hello?" She quietly answered the call.

"Roseline!!!" Alisa's voice suddenly yelled over the phone.

Rose quickly moved the phone away from her ears, even the four men were shocked when they heard the loud shriek coming from the phone. She gulped knowing that she was in deep trouble seeing that Paige addressed her by her name. She normally do that when "Hello, hello. Rose, are you there?" Not getting any response from Rose, Alisa called her name again.

"I'm here." Rose finally spoke again and placed the phone close to her ear.

"Why weren't you answering me? Are you trying to ignore me because you know what I'm calling for?" Alisa sighed and asked.

"I have not the slightest idea why you're calling me. And I didn't reply to you because you were screaming and my eardrum felt shaky. Please lower your voice, it's not like I'm dying or something. " Rose replied, totally forgetting that she was in front of some people. "It's your fault, you should have called me earlier?" Alisa retorted and pouted her face where she was.

Rose rolled her eyes at her. "Why are you calling me? Don't you have to study?" She asked.

"Yes, I do. I have to study you properly. You promised to tell everything that happened today on your first day of school!" Even though she lowered her voice, the four men could still hear her voice and Edward raised his brow slightly at the voice because he felt it was familiar.

Rose secretly stole a glance at the four men. "How about we talk about this once I get home? I promise to pour it all out and how infuriating it is as well." She said. "Wait!-" Before Alisa could say anything, she quickly hung up the phone.

"Ehen......" Rose cleared her throat and glanced at the time on her phone. "Um.. have to go home. I really appreciate your help today and it's a pleasure to have lunch with you guys as well." Rose said as she stood up from her seat and did a ninety degrees bow at them. She was really grateful for their help today, if not she might have been caught by Rey and also be unable to

eat lunch today.

The four men stared blankly at her, three of them were surprised at how mature she spoke. "Are you sure you'd be okay by yourself? Is your head really okay too?" Christopher was the one that asked, gesturing at her forehead.

Rose raised her hand and touched

the spot before shaking her head.

"I'm perfectly fine. And as for the other questions if I'd be okay. Yes, would be. They would have probably dragged him home by now seeing how drunk he is." She remarked, talking about Rey being carried

home by his bodyguards.

“In that case, you can take your leave and be careful." Nicholas said while looking at Rose who simply nodded her head.

"Thank you all, I get to eat in peace. Have a lovely day." A wide smile appeared on Rose's face as she bowed at them again, she secretly stole a glance at Alex was just calmly drinking his wine. Without hesitation, she grabbed her back and dashed out of the room.
