Leaving for America
The sun is getting hotter when it has begun to reveal itself completely without shyly hiding behind the clouds. The blue sky also accentuated its bright color, don’t forget the clouds that moved here and there following the direction of the wind. Separating themselves from the thin to the thickest. The birds have started singing and flying here and there to the blue sky.
There are also those who are still perched on the tabebuya tree in front of WR Bank’s office now a little quiet, especially in its branches. No, it wasn’t because there were no customers, but there were two people who didn’t go to work. Ian had taken over WR Bank since his father introduced him at an event. Now he left early in the morning to quickly carry out his duties as the heir of the company. But when he arrived at his office, Ian was surprised by two envelopes that had no idea where they came from why his desk. Ian’s curiosity was getting higher and higher to open it immediately.
“What letter is this?” He monologued, while flipping through the two envelopes. He opened one of the envelopes and read it. Instantly Ian’s face turned sad as he read the letter. Yes, it was Belvina’s work leave letter, then he tried to open the other one. It turned out that Anggi was also on leave because she had to accompany Belvina.
“Why do you two have to take leave together anyway? I’m so worried, I also want to come with you to America. Is it a fun country there?” Ian said to himself.
“Anyway, hopefully Gifer will recover soon and be able to see again after getting an eye donor from America.” Ian said again.
Just as he wanted to seat himself in his chair, his secretary, aka Mirza, came with news.
“Mr. Ian, there is someone who wants to meet you.” Mirza said.
“Who? Don’t I have a meeting with anyone today?”
“No, sir. But, that woman is desperate to get in and wants to see you.”
“Huh, alright. I’ll be there.” Ian did not sit down and walked straight out of the room with Mirza following behind.

Before we knew it, it was 10:30, and Belvina, Anggi, Gifer, and Haris had already arrived at the airport and had put their luggage into the luggage. They immediately walked to the plane and entered the plane. Looking for a seat that is already listed on the ticket they have ordered. Belvina deliberately booked a ticket that could be next to Gifer, while Anggi and Haris sat behind them. When she sat down and helped direct Gifer to sit next to her, she immediately took the cell phone and made it to the airplane mode. Gifer suddenly asked about why did it have to be this urgent to go to America and do surgery? It could be any other time and didn’t need to be impromptu.
“Honey? I have something to ask you.” Gifer started talking to Belvina.
“What is it?”
“Why does it have to be so impromptu? Are you suddenly asking me to go to America and have surgery?” Gifer finally opened his voice after curiosity had been haunting him since this morning.
Last night Belvina didn’t tell him anything and just got drunk with him, why did she suddenly invite him to do the surgery this morning? That’s what was on Gifer’s mind right now. He had not even contacted his family in Kendal, especially his parents.
‘Maybe I will contact my father when I get there.’ He said to himself.
“If you don’t do this, the enemy will act faster and you won’t be operated again because it has been canceled by the family. Do you want something like that to happen again?” Belvina answered trying to explain to Gifer, even though Gifer still didn’t understand who Belvina meant. Gifer just frowned in surprise.
“Who is the enemy? Am I the only one who doesn’t know anything about who has instigated the exit that will donate an eye to me?” Gifer asked.
“Yes, I do know everything already, dear. But I can’t tell you now either, dear. It’s not time for you to know everything yet.”
“But,”
“Never mind dear, don’t worry about it. Now just think about the surgery you’re going to undergo later, be strong.” Belvina tried to calm Gifer down so that he wouldn’t argue about this matter anymore. Gifer just smiled and nodded his head understanding what Belvina meant, the direction of Belvina’s conversation. He leaned his head against Belvina’s left shoulder. Because of his position Gifer was sitting near the window of the airplane, and Belvina was on the side.
“Thank you.” Gifer said. Belvina who heard it also smiled while rubbing Gifer’s black hair.
“You’re welcome, my dear.” Gifer also smiled, even though he couldn’t see, but he could still feel the warmth of his lover.
“You’re already willing to sacrifice everything for me. I’m sorry if I always trouble you, dear.” Gifer felt guilty because he had to trouble his lover just to find an eye donor which never happened because someone instigated the family of the donor. Gifer was very grateful to have a lover like Belvina who was willing to go to the trouble of finding an eye donor. Belvina’s struggle is truly sincere with the aim that her lover can see again.
“Sssst, let’s not talk about that anymore. I’m so impatient, later when you can see, I will definitely be happy because you can finally see my face. Yes, even though I’m not as beautiful as the Jakarta City girls whose skin is white because of white injections, hehe.” Belvina suddenly said that.
“What skin do I love you for? I love you for your heart, not for your physique or anything else. Even if you’re not from Jakarta, I’ll still love you, baby.” Gifer replied casually.
“What a joke, hahaha. Eh? Instantly I remembered a poem from one of the Indonesian writers, his name is Mr. Sapardi Djoko Damono. But unfortunately I didn’t memorize it, I only memorized one stanza. He said in his poem this: I love you simply. That’s all I remember. Hahaha.” Belvina said. Gifer snorted because he was said to be flippant, but he remembered about the final sentence of what Belvina said about a poem from the Indonesian writer.
“Hahahhaha, yes it’s true, what the writer said in his poem, love is simple, not with obsession or ambition.” Gifer said. Belvina was happy to see that her lover could laugh like this when she was with him.

At WR Bank’s office, Mr. Mirza opened the door of the special room to receive guests who wanted to meet Ian. Dressed neatly in a typical office with a suit attached to his body, he walked over to the sofa where a girl was already sitting behind him. ‘Who is it? I don’t seem to recognize her.’ He thought. The girl’s caramel-colored back hair was wavy and looked voluminous and healthy when viewed from behind which Ian was sure that the girl must be a beautiful girl, unlike Belvina and Anggi who did not like to dye their beloved hair. getting closer already standing in front of the girl sitting in front of him. The girl immediately stood up to see Ian had come. The girl raised her head. Ian was not surprised or anything because he did not recognize who the girl was.
“Who are you? And what do you need to come here?” Ian asked.
