Chapter 10: I'm not hungry anymore
Chapter 10: I'm not hungry anymore
The next morning:
"I wish I was as pretty as her!" I heard someone squeal.
I opened my eyes to be met with grey orbs directly onto my face.
Had I escaped reality?
Was I in on Mars?
Did aliens have grey eyes?
I rubbed my eyes as I got up from the bed.
A woman stood infront of me with a huge smile etched on her face.
"Hi I'm Alaya!" She smiled.
"Hi I'm sleepy." I groaned as I tried to come to reality.
I looked at her and I had to admit that either I had a certain likeness to brunettes or she was genuinely
pretty.
She stood around five feet 2 inches and her sandy Island complexion definitely bought attention to her
beautiful eyes.
"I have to say my brother is quite lucky." She admitted.
"Oh." I retorted.
So this was who she was.
Suddenly it made me not want to talk to her. Her psycho brother was enough for me to handle.
So I started to make my way towards what I presumed was the bathroom.
"Hey! You don't have to be a bitch to me because of my brother. I know he is an asshole but you can't
judge me because of him."
"I'm not here to make friends." I replied as I turned around and looked at her.
"Come on Leena! I have waited twenty years to have a sister who doesn't try to kill the person I have a
crush on!" She groaned.
"Your sister tried to kill your crush?" I asked genuinely shocked.
"No my brother did." She smiled.
"He is a little over protective."
"Trust me I know!" I retorted as I ran a hand through my hair.
"Look Leena, I know what he did to you was not right and I won't ever forgive him for that, but trust me
his intentions are pure and all he wants to do is protect you and take care of you." She said.
"I don't need his protection and I'm capable of taking care of myself!" I argued.
She looked at me mischievously and then took some steps towards me.
"What are you doing?" I asked a little creeped out.
"I need to be quiet or else Nile will hear me but I promise I'm gonna help you in torturing my brother."
She whispered.
I looked at her confused.
Why would a sister want to torture her brother?
"He scared of my last boyfriend." She explained.
Oh.
"Now I have put some clothes for you in the bathroom. Get ready, I'm waiting for you and then we will
go for breakfast."
Maybe making a friend wouldn't be a problem.
........
As I stepped down the stairs, I looked at the house.
I had come to the realisation that I was not in the same building as before but instead this time it was a
house.
And trust me when I tell you, it was the most boring and dull place.
The place had two floors and was beautiful with its cream colored walls and huge windows but it
seemed like no one had ever paid attention to decorating it.
"Whose house is this?" I asked Alaya.
"Arlos. I know its bland but its because he has just purchased this a month ago. But now that you are
here we can decorate it!" She squealed.
Maybe I could do him a favour and decorate his house?
I mean it wasn't cost me anything and I had spent a lot of my time on Pinterest.
"Do you live here?" I asked.
"No but Arlos has asked me to move here for some time since he wants you to have a friend who can
settle you in and explain everything to you."
We both had been so immersed in taking, that I didn't notice when we reached the dining room.
The room was painted in the same color as the rest of the house. The windows had plain white curtains
and in between there was a huge dining table.
"Good morning brother." I heard Alaya chirp and immediately my gaze fell on him.
I quickly averted my gaze but I could feel him looking directly at me.
So I found the chair furthest away from him and sat on it.
"Good morning luna, I'm Rose. Will you please move there as it is customary for the luna to sit with the
alpha?" She smiled.
I looked at the middle aged woman who and then gave her my fakest smile.
"Thank you Rose but I prefer not to follow any such customs."
"But..." She started but was suddenly interrupted.
"I will come there." I heard him speak.
His morning voice sent chills down my body.
I kept my gaze down as I heard him get up the chair and come sit next to me.
I don't know why but to me, it felt like he had a scent. He smelled type of like oak and vanilla and the
fact that our shoulders were brushing at the moment, did nothing to help my racing heart.
"Very well then. What would you like to eat for breakfast this morning? The chef has prepared
scrambled eggs and waffles but if you want anything else it can be made." Rose spoke.
"No thank you, I will take whatever has been made." I replied.
The room felt silent and I immediately looked at Alaya to find her trying to control her laugh.
"So brother, I was thinking that what if I take Leena shopping today as she has no clothes."
"As well as go shop for some furniture because this house seriously needs some style."
"I'll leave my card." He replied.
Free shopping? I don't mind that.
"Why don't you come with us?" Alaya asked.
Did she have a death wish?
"I have a meeting." He replied.
"Nile. You will not leave their sight even for a second and report to me every hour." He commanded.
"Yes Alpha."
"So Leena, I was thinking of the theme. Will grey sofas look nice with these walls or should we go for
another...." Alaya started but was suddenly cut off.
"Alaya ask the maids to shift all of Leena's belongings to my bed chamber." He ordered.
Immediately my body tensed.
This was not happening.
"Alaya please tell your brother that nothing like this is going to happen." I snapped.
I looked at Alaya as she moved her gaze between the two of us for some good five seconds and then
squealed in delight.
"I love this!"
"This is not up for argument." Arlos growled lowly.
Just at the very moment Rose came and placed breakfast infront of me. And damn it looked fine as
hell.
My stomach grumbled.
My heart craved.
But my mind told me otherwise.
"I'm not hungry anymore Rose." I told her as I started to stand up.
But before I could do so, I felt a hand grip my thighs.
Sparks erupted in my body as I felt his breathe on my ear.
"Eat." He whispered as he firmly moved his hand a little too deep into my thighs.
......
