Chapter 253
COMMENT
Harold said, "Sully was just here, but now he's
gonel"
"He came too?" Natalic turned to Harold and said, "You better not get too close to him. Elara really dislikes him! Don't let yourself get dragged into trouble because of him later." "Alright." Harold didn't concern himself with Sully anymore.
After the wedding ceremony, Elara returned to the lounge. She sat down while Quarry and Cynthia went to grab food.
Natalie brought her some snacks and asked, "Are you hungry?"
"Not really." Elara sat in her seat, looking at Natalic.
Natalie said, "You should eat something. I knew you'd be hungry
Elara smiled, clearly pleased. "You always look out for me!"
Elara ate a bit of the roast duck Natalie had brought over. After one bite, she didn't eat much more.
Natalie looked at her and asked, "What's wrong? Doesn't it taste good?"
My stomach feels a bit off." Elara frowned, feeling slightly nauseous after eating. "Maybe it's because I got up too early today."
Natalie said, "Then you should rest for a while.
Elara stood up. "I still need to change outfits."
After changing, she had to head out to greet people again. That was just how wedding routines went.
As they were talking, Lysander walked in.
Seeing Elara, he asked, "What's wrong?"
Natalie replied, "She said she's not feeling well. Once you're done here, take her back to rest."
Lysander nodded. "Alright."
Natalie left, giving the space to the two of them. Lysander looked at Elara and walked over to her.
The
past few days before the wedding had been hectic, and the two hadn't had much time to see each other.
After a long day, this was the first moment of quiet they'd had together.
He held her in his arms. "If you're not feeling well, I'll take you back to rest now."
"I'm fine." Elara looked at Lysander. "I just need a little break. My sister brought this over. Why don't you have some? I'm sure you haven't eaten either." Lysander glanced at the food, picked up a fork, and tried a bite.
The two sat together, finishing the roast duck. Of course, Lysander ate most of it since Elara didn't have much of an appetite.
After changing her clothes, Elara went to the bathroom and ended up vomiting before coming back.

She then accompanied tysauder to make a toast to the guests.
Among the attendees were their friends and colleagues.
Lysander stayed behind to entertain the guests while Natalie escorted Elara back to her room to rest.
Noticing Elara's discomfort, Natalie called a doctor to check on lier.
"Is it her stomach?" Natalie asked worriedly, standing by the doctor.
The doctor replied, "She's pregnant! Make sure she gets plenty of rest and avoids overexertion. When you have time, head to the hospital for a detailed examination." "Oh." Elara lay on the bed, surprised to hear she was pregnant.
With the wedding and her leave from work, she had been so busy lately.
She had been rushing through her tasks and hadn't noticed the changes in her body at all.
After the doctor left, Natalie returned and looked at Elara, who appeared stunned. Finding it amusing, she chuckled and said, "You didn't even know you're pregnant?" Elara replied, "I've been so busy lately!"
Natalie scrutinized her and teased, "You're like a clueless little kid, not even aware of your pregnancy. I bet Lysander doesn't know either! The two of you are unbelievable!" Elara leaned back against the pillow, unbothered by Natalie's scolding.
Seeing that Elara wasn't reacting, Natalie lost interest in lecturing her and asked, "How are you feeling?"
Elara replied, "Not much different. It feels kind of surreal." She was a little happy.
Although she'd previously been resistant to the idea of pregnancy and having kids, now she found herself feeling excited.
She used to think she still had the mindset of a child, always acting spoiled in front of her father.
But now, it felt like she had suddenly stepped into a new role.
Natalie said, "Call Lysander and tell him to get over here immediately!"
"Let him work," Elara said, lying down. "I'm going to take a nap. We'll talk after he's done."
There were so many guests today.
His colleagues and friends had all come to the wedding.
She couldn't expect him to stay by her side the entire time.
Natalie said, "Okay! Sleep then. I'll have the kitchen make something delicious and send i Elara said, "Okay."
over later."
Elara took a nap, catching up on the sleep she missed last night. When she woke up, Lysander was back. When she woke up, Lysander was back.
"Awake?" he asked, sitting beside her as she opened her eyes.
Chapter 253-
"What time is it?" Elara asked,
Lysander replied, "Afternoon. Natalie said you were sleeping, so didn't disturb you."
Looking at her, he asked, "Are you feeling unwell? Should I take you to the hospital?"
"Natalie didn't tell you?" Elara asked, noticing the confusion on his face.
"Tell me what?" Lysander asked, clearly puzzled.
Seeing his clueless expression, Elara knew Natalie hadn't mentioned anything. She laughed.
"What are you laughing at?" Lysander asked.
Elara looked at him, held his hand, and said, "Are you done with everything?"
"They've gone back. Everyone's busy, so I sent them on their way Lysander replied.
Elara said, "I just had a good nap and feel much better now."
"How about eating something?" Lysander suggested.
Elara replied, "Yeah."
He called for food to be brought in.
Following Natalie's instructions, the kitchen prepared a special meal and sent it up with a server.
Elara sat at the table to eat while Lysander stayed by her side, looking after her.
As she ate, she glanced at Lysander and said, "Actually, there's something I need to tell you."
"What is it?" Lysander looked up at her, noticing her serious expression. He couldn't quite follow where this was going.
Elara said, "You might not be the most important person in my life anymore."
Lysander froze, his eyes narrowing slightly in suspicion. "What happened while I wasn't here?"
It was their first day as a married couple, and she was saying this
Elara continued, "There's suddenly someone more important than you."
Lysander stared at her, trying to gauge if she was joking, but her expression seemed serious.
His thoughts began to spiral until there was a knock at the door.
"Go check," Elara said.
Lysander got up and opened the door. It was Juan and Crispin,
Crispin looked at Lysander and asked, "We heard Elara wasn't feeling well. Juan wanted to check on her."
Lysander stepped aside to let them in. Crispin pushed Juan forward.
When Juan saw Elara, he greeted her, "Hey."
Elara asked, "What brings you here?"
Juan said, "I was about to leave and wanted to check on you before I went. Are you okay?"
After the toast, Elara hat gene straight to rest, and word had gollen out that she wasn't feeling well, which worried her.
Elara replied, "I'm fine!"
While they chatted, Crispin and Lysander stepped out, leaving dem to talk privately.
Elara looked at Juan and asked, "Want something to eat?"
Juan replied, "No, thanks. I'm not hungry. But you don't look great."
Elara reassured Juan, "It's just fatigue, nothing serious. The doctor's already been here."
"What did the doctor say?" Juan asked.
Elara glanced at the door, unsure of what the men outside were discussing, and told Juan, "I'm fine. I'm just pregnant."
