Chapter 3 The Lost Necklace
Chapter 3 The Lost Necklace
A hint of doubt flashed in Harold's eyes. Why was this woman smiling?
Didn't she do it all for the Su Family?
When he saw Sally's pink face, however, his eyes widened for a moment.
Her long eyelashes were like a butterfly's flapping wings, and her clear and bright eyes looked beautiful
with her smile. Sunlight was cast from the half-covered curtain, and the light in her eyes was like a pure
spirit from a forest.
Harold's heart skipped a beat.
He had never seen his wife for more than a year like this before.
Her lips were like almond blossoms in spring as they trembled slightly. As Harold thought of the
fragrance from her last night, he got even more anxious.
He shook his hand and coldly said,
"Get out!"
"What?" Sally asked as she staggered to her feet. Did he just ask her to go out?
"Don't you want to get out? Or do you want to do it with me again?"
"No, no, no. I'm leaving."
Sally didn't dare to look for the necklace anymore and ran out without looking back.
As soon as she reached the stairway, she bumped into a soft wall.
"Hmm..." Sally covered her forehead and looked up. Above her head were breasts that were 36E in
size.
Wendy Bai?
Sally suddenly remembered what her sister had told her before she left. Among them were about a
woman named Wendy Bai, who had 36E breasts. That woman happened to follow Harold around most
of the time.
"Oh, isn't this the young lady of the Beigong Family? The one who's gentle and wise?"
"Hello, Miss Wendy." Sally greeted, lowering her eyes.
"Don't be so rash. It's the first time that my breasts were bumped into by such an elegant and
courteous lady. You know what? You can't hit my breasts just because yours isn't this size,"
Wendy Bai said with a straight face, staring at Sally.
Sally kept her head low and remained silent.
"What's wrong with you? And you still haven't had a baby even though you're already married for more
than a year? Are you infertile?"
Sally pursed her lips. She was supposed to act like the dignified lady of the Su Family, as her sister
ordered. But when Wendy Bai belittled her sister, she failed to hold back anger.
"Miss Wendy, you seem so worried. I don't know if your breasts are broken or not. You'd better worry
about them before the gas in it seeps out."
"What do you mean?" Upon hearing what Sally had just said, Wendy Bai's face changed. She furiously
glared at Sally.
"Sorry, I was wrong,"
Sally apologized immediately. Seeing the complacent look on Wendy's face, she added, "Oh, it's not
gas leaking out of it. Just the silica gel."
After she said her piece, Sally immediately turned around and left. When Wendy Bai came to her
realization, she pointed at Sally's back and got exasperated.
"You bitch! How dare you say something like that to me! These breasts are natural! Bitch!"
Sally didn't look back. She just went on without entertaining Wendy's verbal attacks.
As Wendy watched Sally walk away, she tidied up her clothes, pulled her collar, and walked into the
room.
"Harold!"
Wendy spoke sweetly, clinging onto him. Her soft and tall breasts pressed against his arm.
"Miss Wendy," Harold said in a distant tone. He walked aside.
Again!
Harold was still acting indifferent towards her, which made Wendy purse her lips with dissatisfaction.
She unintentionally said, "Mrs. Sophie was a bit unusual today. She's always calm. But today, she
talked back to me!"
She was not only unusual, but she also dared to drug Harold and join him in bed!
Anger slowly filled his eyes. He turned around and left the room, leaving Wendy stunned.
"Harold!"
Wendy hurriedly ran towards him. But when she saw that Harold was determined, she just lowered her
head and sighed. Even if he didn't touch Sophie after marriage, he didn't care about Wendy.
'What?
Is there something shining on the ground?'
After taking a closer look, Wendy found a silver necklace from the gap between the carpet and the
table.
She thought that it could be something precious, but it turned out to be just an ordinary necklace.
Wendy rolled her eyes and was about to throw the necklace away. But when she raised her hand, she
suddenly stopped.
'What kind of person is Harold? He's the ruler of the whole city. It's a legend that thousands of girls
want to catch up with, but they don't deserve it. Isn't it strange that an ordinary necklace shows up in
his room?'
With this thought, Wendy put the necklace away in her LV handbag.
Sally went all the way to the servants' lounge.
"Mrs. Sophie."
The servants inside immediately stood straight and respectfully looked at her. Sally nodded. She didn't
want to look at these people.
"Did you happen to find a necklace when cleaning Mr. Harold's room?"
"Necklace?"
The servants looked at each other and shook their heads.
"No," they answered.
"Did Mrs. Sophie lose that? Let's go and find it."
"No. No," Sally refused.
'Are you kidding me? I only came here to inquire about it. If somebody knew about that, it would be
dangerous. And they even want to help me find the necklace. If I made a big noise, things would get
dicey for me!'
"It's not worth it. Just let it go."
Sally quickly ran to her sister's room.
For the whole afternoon, Sally hid in her sister's room and didn't dare to go out. She was curled up in
bed, staring blankly at the walls.
Over the past year, Sophie and Harold had been sleeping in separate rooms. The room even had no
trace of Harold's smell.
At this moment, Sally smelled her sister's scent, making her feel much more relieved. After being
tortured last night, she felt really comfortable now and was able to doze off really soon.
While sleeping, she had a dream. In it, Harold's face was still in a mess in bed. He looked aggressive
as he occupied her body.
"Ah!"
Sally woke up from her nightmare.
It was already a little dark when she looked outside the window. A breeze blew, and the dusk and tree
shadows filled the empty bedroom with a gloomy and uneasy atmosphere.
Feeling a little depressed, Sally's heart beat really fast. She quickly grabbed the phone under the pillow
and saw that there was still no news from her sister.
What happened to Sophie? According to their plan, they should have switched back their identities this
evening.
Since her sister hadn't come back yet, she had no choice but to stay in Sophie's room. Fortunately,
although Harold was really angry, he didn't continue to harass her.
But the necklace must still be in his room.
She knew she had to find the necklace!
So Sally walked out of the room and casually asked a servant passing by.
"Is Mr. Harold in his room?"
The servant was stunned and looked at Sally in surprise. Mrs. Sophie never asked about Mr. Harold
since they got married. Why was she asking now?
"What's wrong?" Sally asked, frowning.
"It doesn't matter, Mrs. Sophie. Mr. Harold went out this afternoon and hasn't come back yet."
Sally nodded and immediately walked towards Harold's room.
Seeing that the young lady turned back to her arrogant and cold state as usual, the servant was a little
shocked and then turned around and left.
