Addicted to Luring – Mister, Please Behave

Chapter 92 :This Smile Is Too Dangerous

“There are so many books, do you want me to sort them out by myself?” Wendy asked. Was he trying to exhaust her to death?

Rex took a look at her as if everything was only natural. “What else?”

As soon as he finished speaking, Rex walked to the desk from the side, sat down, and lowered his head to write something.

Damn it!

Wendy glared at him hatefully and made a few faces at him, but he didn’t have any reaction. She would rather he threw a tantrum at her.

Rex was as cold as a block of ice. No matter what Wendy did, he remained expressionless, as if she didn’t exist.

This was ten thousand times more painful than cursing her!

Wendy sat down on the ground and was so tired that she was panting. “I’m not going to do it anymore. It’s too tiring.”

Rex did not respond.

Wendy frowned before raising her voice again, “I said I’m tired.”

Rex didn’t say anything. He only took a glance at her, and then turned his head back.

“I said I was tired, didn’t you hear me? “Wendy stood up directly from the ground, walked up to him and said.

Only then did Rex put down his pen and look up. “Didn’t you take what I said last night to heart?”

“I…”

Wendy was momentarily at a loss for words and she could not say a single word.

“What right do you have to lock me up? Rex Gavyn, I can sue your family violence.”

When it came to quarrels, it was always strong that won.

Rex raised his eyebrows and smiled. “Okay, you go and sue me. I’ll hire lawyers for you. Is ten enough?”

That smile was too dangerous.

Wendy looked away and looked elsewhere. “I don’t need it.”

“Have you thought of how to lie to me?” Rex’s voice turned cold again.

This tone…

“I went out for relaxation.”

Rex did not say anything. He looked at Wendy for a long time before saying, “Let’s go back to the room.”

“Oh.” Wendy had just taken a step forward when she was stopped by Rex. “What’s wrong?”

“Come to my office tomorrow.”

Wendy didn’t sleep well all night. She didn’t know if it was because the pregnant reaction had gotten stronger or not, but she always felt nauseous and uncomfortable no matter what she smelled.

After a little cake, she couldn’t eat anymore. She ran into the bathroom and began to vomit. She vomited so much that only sour water was left.

“Wendy, Mr. Gavyn wants you to go to his office.”

“Oh, I see.”

Wendy picked up her things and her face was pale. She resisted the discomfort and knocked on the door outside.

“Come in.”

She was stunned when she pushed the door open.

A woman was sitting opposite Rex. She was very beautiful and charming, making Wendy even more disgusted.

Rex looked at her and said, pointing at a small cubicle, “Sit there.”

“Alright,” Wendy said as she slowly closed the door and walked towards the small cubicle.

He heard the woman’s voice inadvertently. “Mr. Gavyn, you’re so… You’re still raising your lover in the office?”

“Just an assistant?”

Wendy stopped walking all of a sudden. She bit her lips, took a deep breath, and walked into the cubicle. She quickly packed up her things, put on her headphones, and played the music to the greatest extent.

She didn’t know how long they had chatted outside. When Rex came in, Wendy was still listening to music, so he directly took off her earpiece.

“Didn’t you hear what I said?” Rex asked with a cold face.

Wendy immediately stood up with a smile on her face, but her heart was sour. “Mr. Gavyn, what can I do for you?”

“Finish this form before work.” Rex threw the folder to her.

A form?

Wendy opened it and saw that it was full of numbers. She immediately called out to Rex, “I’m not an accountant.”

Rex gave her a cold look and said, “Resign if you don’t want to.”

“You!” Wendy held back her anger. “Fine, I’ll do it!”

A line.

Two lines.

Three lines.

After reading three lines, Wendy began to feel sleepy. She knew all the numbers, but she didn’t know where to start.

By the way, she could look for Clare.

She glanced outside and realized that Rex was sitting steadily in the distance. She then took out her phone and took a photo of the report and sent it to Clare.

Not long after, Clare sent her a text message. Wendy opened it in surprise.

“Mrs. Gavyn, there’s a surveillance camera in the president’s office.”

There was a surveillance camera?

Rex said, “If you don’t want Clare to be fired, feel free to look for him.”

How did he know everything?

“I didn’t…” Wendy explained with a guilty conscience. She hurriedly hid her phone and continued to study the report.

She scratched her head and her heart was a mess. It was quiet in the office. In addition to her nervousness, her morning sickness became even more intense.

Wendy covered her mouth and quickly walked out of the cubicle. She muttered to herself, “I’m going to the bathroom.”

After that, she pushed the door open and walked into the bathroom.

Hearing the sound of vomiting, Rex’s heart tightened. He pushed open the door and saw Wendy holding onto the sink vomiting non-stop.

He stood behind her and tucked her hair behind her ear. His voice was cold as he said, “Women are so troublesome.”

Wendy turned on the tap, washed her mouth, and glared at him. “Who do I suffer for?”

Rex pondered for a while but didn’t say anything. Then, he turned around and left.

“Wait!”

Just as Wendy was about to return to her seat, she was stopped by Rex. She didn’t turn around and could only hear his deep voice.

“I’ve already asked someone to make clothes for you for the anniversary celebration.”

“Why is the president so nice to his assistant,” Wendy said as she turned around.

Rex’s eyes narrowed. “Are you unhappy?”

Wendy deliberately put on a charming smile and said, “How am I not happy? I wish that the president would treat me, his little assistant, better so that I can have enough money to raise my child. I don’t want the child to lose its father in a few days and I can’t afford to raise it myself.”

These words were very jarring to Rex’s ears.

“Wendy Walters!” Rex’s expression was serious and a little angry.

His eyes, as cold as ice and frost, fell on Wendy. Realizing that she was in danger, she immediately shut her mouth.

The silent lion was the most terrifying.

Wendy was afraid that Rex would divorce her. It would be a lie to say that they hadn’t loved each other for such a long time. It was just that he had disappointed her again and again, so she felt a little uncomfortable in her heart.

“I’ll go back and sort out the forms.”

“There’s no need.” Rex grabbed her arm. “Follow me to see someone.”

“Who are we meeting?”

“You’ll know when you get there,” said Rex.

Rex forced Wendy to go to a western restaurant. As soon as she entered the restaurant, the waiter greeted her kindly. Rex stood in front of her, ordered a few dishes, and then took her to sit down.

“Who exactly are we meeting? It’s such a grand occasion,” Wendy couldn’t help but ask, unable to suppress the curiosity in her heart.

Rex did not reply. Instead, he looked into the distance and smiled in a certain direction. Then, a figure barged into Wendy’s line of sight.
